Beautiful, clean facility and friendly staff, but after spending three days at Well Point with my 91-year-old father, I would not recommend it. My biggest concern is resident safety and the facility's apparent lack of support for aging in place. After leaving, I became increasingly concerned about my father's ability to continue living independently. I called multiple times and left messages for the Executive Director, [name removed], but never received a return call. That lack of communication was disappointing, especially given the seriousness of my concerns. From my experience, Well Point does not appear to have a clear process for evaluating residents whose cognitive or physical abilities may be declining or for helping them transition to a higher level of care when needed. I was also unable to obtain meaningful information about assisted living options. It left me with the impression that too much responsibility falls on fellow residents and non-clinical staff to notice and address safety concerns. The dining experience was also disappointing. The food was terrible and small portions. While the facility itself is attractive and the staff members I encountered were friendly, the lack of responsiveness, concerns about resident safety, limited support for changing care needs, and disappointing dining experience make it difficult for me to recommend Well Point to other families.

This facility did not admit my loved one after an accessment and then refused to return the deposit after numerous requests to refund the deposit. There is so much pain involved in this process and to have this company take money you desperately need for the care of your loved one is heartless and cruel. It makes me wonder how many other elderly people this has happened to.

Residences at Wellpoint is a beautiful community that is committed to excellent care and an amazing experience. The staff is caring and attentive to the residents and visitors. They provide wonderful activities that engage the residents and ensure they have a great time. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that is interested in senior living!

I visit a dear friend who moved to WellPoint from another newish residential community. My friend loves the staff, the other residents, the activity, and accommodations. Whenever I visit, I am greeted by Reception, other staff who see me, and residents. Smiles and positive attitudes abound. I often am there around midday; the food smells delicious. Addendum: My friend had a health event after we had been out for a day of fun. The floor attendant came immediately with the nurse only a minute or two after. I was tasked with the 9-1-1 call as I was the one most likely. The local First Response team was on the scene in minutes with the EMTs close on their heels. Two administrators also came to help (and calm me). My friend went from unresponsive to alert within 20 minutes. They saved her life. While I already felt very comfortable with the care and attention my friend found at WellPoint, I also are grateful for their responsiveness to her health needs as well. That is the primary reason she is in an assisted living community. The other residents are also very friendly; many are outgoing and engaging. What a valuable living alternative for seniors who need some assistance and an active social life.

I visited the Residences at Wellpoint to attend a Defensive Driving Seminar. The Seminar was very informative and presented well. I also saw a two bedroom apartment that was huge with a balcony that had so much room. It was unbelievable. The Residences at Wellpoint are absolutely beautiful. When the time comes that I am no longer as active as I am now, I will be looking forward to moving into one of the apartments at Residences at Wellpoint.

My mother was looking for a place to live closer to me and my brother after my stepdad passed away. We sort of stumbled across Residences at Wellpoint, although we believe God led us here. We were greeted with kindness and given an excellent introduction to the place. My mother immediately felt a warmth and a welcoming spirit. She had planned on getting an apartment near me, but even with this place being 45 minutes away, it is exactly what she needed. She is well taken care of with excellent meals, housekeeping, exercise classes, an inhouse salon, interesting activities, great friends, and a wonderful staff. My mother, who had been taking care of my stepdad at home for several years, now has a new pep in her step and she is so happy. It gives me and my brother peace of mind to know she is so well taken care of in a loving, well managed environment. We are grateful we were led here.

I really like the facility here.The employees that work here.They all care for elderly.Would do anything to help each of them out.I seen it happen several times already.I think the food is really good.The exercise all getting by physical therapy in the big room on the first is great activities for elderly be part being active and doing good.The pool is extra big plus also.The staff is excellent.

I recently visited The Residences at Wellpoint. It is absolutely beautiful! I got to see a water aerobics class in their lovely, heated salt water pool. the participants were having a ball. The Cafe is so cute and the sports bar is the perfect place to watch a game with friends. It looks like a wonderful place to live.

We have been looking for such a facility for some time and we are so happy that we have decided upon the Residences at Wellpoint. There are several choices in terms of layout and the amenities they offer are most appealing. Wellpoint offers some amenities in their base price that other facilities do not. The facility itself is situated beautifully by the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Hampton Cove. We highly recommend that you check out Wellpoint prior to making any final decisions about independent, assisted, or memory care living.
