My grandma passed this recent year and was residing at The Ridge. They took such great care of her, the space was clean and welcoming, and better yet the people were so kind, caring, and attentive. My family still to this day talks about how happy we are that we chose The Ridge for my sweet grandma and how happy she was there. I want to give a special thanks to Mary Heideman in Activities: Mary always has a glowing smile on her face and a welcoming attitude. What was especially notable is despite always running around the place because she is so busy keeping the residents happy and entertained, she never failed to say hello to my family and I and she would always stop in her tracks to chat with my grandma which made her day. It’s people like Mary and so many others at The Ridge who made my grandma so happy in her last years and ensured she was cared for mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Ridge on Foothill. We’ve been going through a very difficult situation with my mother-in-law. We just brought our aunt to the memory care center at The Ridge at Foothill. Navigating through this transition is never easy and can be gut wrenching. The people at The Ridge were helpful - Mirela answered every question we had, made the application process less stressful than we expected and Raven helped us with advice on the best way to approach our aunt with the news that she would be experiencing something new. While we still have a few little things to learn and figure out - it went better than we could have expected, thanks to the employees at The Ridge.

I visited a couple of places before I picked the Ridge on Foothill. When I visited the Ridge, I felt that I no longer needed to look at other facilities. The building is modern and spacious. The rooms are very nice. While on my tour, what impressed me the most, was the looks on the faces of the residents and staff. As he whole, they all seemed content. I observed the staff helping residents with activities. Mirela gave me a tour and introduced me to the head nurse, Ashley. Mirela was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions, and responded quickly after the move, when I had questions. Ashely is also very caring and has addressed all of my concerns in a timely and positive way. I wouldn’t kid you that the move was easy, but I know I made the right choice with the Ridge.

She’s always helping residents get to activities and join in, Mary ALWAYS goes out of her way for every resident she interacts with! My super-ager mom moved into the Ridge Foothill six years ago with our family’s goal that she live in a nourishing environment where she felt safe and cared for, and where mental and physical activities were both offered and encouraged. No place is perfect, but the Ridge was good from the start and is really good now. Executive director, Micki Cianciosi has assembled and capably manages a mostly outstanding group of directors, while running an efficient operation even as she juggles a lot of balls in the air. Some members of her staff are so outstanding, they bear individual mention: These include: Jeff the dining director, who turned an unacceptable dining experience into a model that all assisted living places should adopt. Under Jeff, the food, menu offerings and service have all improved immensely. The waitstaff, hired by Jeff and operating under his direction, has gone from lousy to top notch. Nic, the assisted living director of nursing, is not only intelligent and qualified, but also compassionate, responsive, accessible and an excellent communicator. Nic’s med tech director Elsy works like a fiend to take care of her charges and is reliable, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. The entire care team emulates Nic and Elsy’s work ethic and deep sense of caring, and every caregiver is gold standard. Mom feels very loved and cared for by all of them. The activities’ assistants”Mary, Eric and Christian--do a tremendous job running a broad-based activity program and bringing purpose and joy to the residents’ lives (especially Merry Mary, who is contagiously happy and optimistic). It starts at the front desk, where Jonelle and Regina do a terrific job and go the extra mile for the residents and families. On the backend, Connor is doing a great job with the maintenance. The Ridge is not cheap and we always worry about the potential of being priced out, but at this moment in time, we are pleased with what Mom is getting for the cost and hope she can live out her days there.

In an unexpected and immediate need for care, I required help to relocate my friend from California to Salt Lake City. The staff at the Ridge Foothill pulled together to accomplish the necessary paperwork, have a room ready in two days, transfer medical records and made the impossible very possible. To say they made a minor miracle is true. Every step of the way they reassured me, and I. knew I'd chosen the best possible place. It is beautiful with a relaxed atmosphere. Our father has been a resident at The Ridge Foothill for two years. At 95, he has challenging medical issues, often needing significant attention. While the housekeepers, care partners and medtechs are all extremely helpful, Fariba has been particularly outstanding since the day our dad arrived. Every member of the staff has been incredibly accommodating and kind, especially during my aunt’s move-in process. I had to put my spouse into senior living center that offered a secure memory care facility. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and it suddenly started to get worse after a major surgery. I looked at a number of facilities, but none were as nice as The Ridge-Foothill. I had five items that I measured each facility: Proximity to my residence Staff to resident ratio & Medical Attention Cleanliness & security Activities Price The Ridge-Foothill scored 5’s on all categories. They offer many wonderful things I didn’t feel bad about placing my wife at The Ridge-Foothill And speaking of Medical attention, the head nurse is Nicole Holland, she is wonderful with the patients, her staff and addresses the issues I brought to her attention with compassion and honesty. And speaking of the staff, they are Attentive, Courteous, addresses you by name, and they really care about the residences at The Ridge-Foothill. And when summer arrives they have many outdoor patio’s and areas to relax and enjoy the summer. My husband has been a resident at The Ridge Foothill for almost 6 months. I am always impressed when we arrive at breakfast and Noni or Malu have his coffee and two APs ready almost before he sits down. Their kind attention starts his day off right. And speaking of kind attention starting the day off right, the mornings that Abraham comes in to help Jerry get up and get dressed are good mornings indeed! I would also like to compliment Victor and his maintenance staff. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep the apartment clean and safe. Finally and perhaps most importantly, I think Allison Williams has made a big difference by improving the quality of the medical care since she has been at the Ridge! I am impressed by her attention to detail and her communication skills. I like that she takes a moment to say hello each time she sees us. The med tech staff does an amazing job dispensing medications and eye drops. Susan, Fernando, Elsy, Michael and Connie are very attentive and kind!

There were many benefits of moving to the Ridge Foothill that I anticipated. Having meals prepared and served in a dining room with a splendid view of the city and mountains. Being able to rely on experienced caregivers when necessary. Weekly apartment cleaning, interesting activities organized by an imaginative team, an exercise room with daily classes, to name a few. What I didn’t fully appreciate is the social connections there would be with both staff and residents. I look forward to dining three times a day with friends I’ve made, being served by cheerful and thoughtful servers. I am particularly impressed with the skills of Noni, Malu, Nora and Clara. Care Partners Eric, Abraham, Fariba, Esther and Lily have been extremely helpful. The only drawback I can think of is the busy traffic on Foothill Drive. This took a little getting used to.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting The Ridge Foothill on several occasions as my aging mother in law weighed where she wanted live. She finally decided on another community but our experience at the Ridge, hosted by Michelle, was nothing but positive, answering questions with patience and clarity, helping us through this transition like a kind counselor. The entire staff provided the same help. We met several residents who also spoke very positively about their experience there. The Ridge is obviously an outstanding choice for those considering assisted living or memory care.

My family and I couldn't be happier with our experience at The Ridge Foothill. The property is beautiful and state-of-the-art, it's like a luxury hotel! Our dad moved in to the memory care neighborhood and was treated with dignity, compassion, and a great deal of respect from each and every care provider at The Ridge. The good energy of the place is evident from the moment you walk through the doors. The residents, staff, and visitors all seem to be happy, joyful, and well taken care of. It is a warm, caring, and nurturing atmosphere. Mandie Pauni, the sales director at The Ridge, was one of the main reasons we decided to have our dad live at The Ridge. She is an OUTSTANDING individual and a true angel on earth! Navigating assisted living/memory care for a loved one for the first time is daunting and not something one does often. Mandie and her team were absolutely amazing, treating us and our dad/husband like her own family. There was nothing she wouldn't do for us and she helped us with big details and small ones too. She helped us tremendously. Thank you, Mandie! I can't imagine a better experience with something so significant as transitioning a loved one into an assisted living environment. The entire team at The Ridge is top-notch!!! This is the only place we'll ever consider if other family members are ever in need of assisted living.

Led by Christine, and including Tracy, Susan, Elsie and many others, they are professional, passionate about what they do, and compassionate toward the people in their care. The place to go for assisted living is "The Ridge Foothill,". This is a very comfortable place to be. The CNA's do a great job. The executive director here, Bobby Ginn, is doing an awesome job making changes as we are going thru growth pains. He is great to work with as he is open to suggestions and then follows up on them. His door is always open to the residents and their families to come in and discuss any issues. It is easy to make friends here as you make yourself friendly.There is a great activity schedule daily that you can participate in as you see fit. From board games to shopping trips to going site seeing up one of the canyons. A movie is shown almost every evening. Come see us at "The Ridge Foothill", talk to our great marketing team, and have them help you find us. They know who we are. We'd love to say hi. Cliff and Diane

My father in law unfortunately, had to be put in memory care unexpectedly a few weeks ago at another property. We were referred to The Ridge and took a tour last week. I can’t believe the difference. Beautiful property, amazing/attentive staff and I can’t say enough about Cindy. She is compassionate and has been available to answer our questions. We are so looking forward to having our dad be a part of this wonderful community.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Ridge Foothill. My father is wheelchair bound and has spent the last two years in Assisted Living. Most recently, during COVID (at Christmas), we moved my dad to the Ridge because the place he was in before was going downhill. This place was the best Christmas present for him and for family because it makes him so happy. While no place like this is perfect, The Ridge comes pretty darn close. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly, and the building and rooms are beautiful. My dad calls it his "fancy hotel" and although he misses his friend from the previous place, he wouldn't ever dream of going back. I love how they have approached the pandemic thoughtfully, caring not just about COVID, but also the mental health of their tenants. As a side note, my mother had not wanted to look here because she thought it would be too expensive, As it turns out, because of good management and string nursing, it is actually cheaper for my parents here. If you are contemplating finding a place for your family or loved one, I would highly recommend The Ridge.

I'm very happy with the care my loved ones are receiving at the Ridge Foothill. The staff is really wonderful and they are great about communicating with the families of the residents, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend it to families looking for a safe, comfortable place for their loved ones.

IMO, the Ridge Foothill, under executive director Bobby Ginn and his fantastic staff, is THE premier senior living community in the country. My Mom (a resident since January 2020) and I thought it was wonderful from the start, but what the Ridge Foothill has done during the pandemic has been nothing short of astounding. Their safety measures and commitment to keeping the residents happy and healthy in innovative ways throughout this time of isolation from families have been amazing. And the fact that every resident at the Ridge and most of the aides are already fully vaccinated or awaiting second shots (in the case of new residents) makes families like mine breathe so much easier. Thank you Ridge. Best senior living community ever!

My Mom moved into the Ridge and enjoyed herself immediately! The decor, the food, the activities and friendly staff, made her life very full and enjoyable! Even during the challenges of the Covid pandemic, the staff always tried so hard to make her comfortable and happy! Cindy, Karl, Penelope, Jemina, Marrian and many others watched over her with compassion and care! She always felt their love for her! She lived in the Assisted Living neighborhood and eventually moved into the Memory care neighborhood...both areas were run well, with the residents needs in mind! We chose the Ridge after visiting many other facilities and are very happy with the choice we made!

Incredible staff, gorgeous living spaces, engaging activities! We recently moved my grandfather into their memory care, and I couldn't be happier. The staff are always available to answer questions. Before moving him in, I reached out a few times over a few months, and Cindy was always happy to answer questions and provide information for me. They made sure my grandfather and my family were comfortable with what was going on and his transition was as smooth as possible. While my grandpa wasn't thrilled about the move, he has adjusted well and that's definitely due in part to the staff and environment they have created at the Ridge. Competitive pricing for an INCREDIBLE facility!

We moved my grandma to the Ridge a couple months ago and have seen a drastic improvement in her quality of life. It really does make a difference where someone lives in their happiness, health, and overall mood. Whereas other facilities can take 30 or so minutes to respond to a resident's needs, staff will be there helping my grandma within 5 minutes any time she calls for it. They are great at communicating with the family and really work to get to know their resident's needs in order to be able to help accommodate them as best they can. Also, the facility is beautiful!

Cindy Fey is warm, welcoming, and will make sure you get all of the answers you need to select The Ridge for your loved one. As a member of the community I really enjoy seeing all of the activities they provide, I even won one of the categories for the pumpkin competition last year!

My mom had a respite stay at the Ridge in September, 2019. All of the staff I interacted with were exceptional. Gabby Bright and Karl Ramirez were outstanding in answering questions, navigating the required paperwork, and getting mom settled in. I am so impressed with the staff's willingness to follow through on all inquiries. They were amazingly responsive. Thank you for an excellent experience for my mom. We felt so confident that mom was well taken care of while we were out of town.

The staff at the Ridge constantly went above and beyond to make my mom feel welcome, comfortable and cared for. They also were extremely accommodating to me and the rest of our family as we transitioned my mom from a previous facility. All of this in a beautiful facility and reasonable rates.
