My mother lived at The Ridge Foothill for 2-1/2 years. She made good friends at the meals, the activities, the performances, and especially at Tim Chambless' weekly discussions. The care partners looked after her with kindness. The staff knew her and our entire family and always greeted us with warmth. Lily gave an extra measure of care. Fernando's professionalism was notable. Amanda P and Mary ran fun activities. Jonelle and Carol welcomed us and solved our problems. The nurses in charge watched over her. We recommend The Ridge Foothill.

My Mom has lived at the Ridge since 2020 and other than the dining experience, which has a lot of room for improvement, everything else has been exceptional. If the new dining director can turn things around, the Ridge Foothill would be worthy of a 5-star rating. The care, activities and maintenance staffs are consistently first rate. It is impossible to list all of the wonderful, devoted staff by name, but one who really lights up my Mom's days is Mary Heideman in activities. Mom named her "Merry" Mary in recognition of her happy, upbeat and fun personality. They don't come better than "Merry" Mary!

Mary's caring and compassionate nature is clear in everything she does. She takes the time to get to know each senior personally, understanding their interests and needs. Mary is also very kind and patient, always ready to listen and help whenever someone needs it. One of the best things about Mary is how she makes every resident feel special. She pays attention to the little things, like remembering birthdays and celebrating personal achievements. This personal touch means a lot to the residents and makes them feel valued and appreciated. Mary is also great at encouraging seniors to try new things and stay active. She creates a fun and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable participating. Her activities not only entertain but also help improve the seniors' physical and mental well-being. Overall, Mary's upbeat, caring, compassionate, and kind nature makes her an outstanding person to be apart of activities for seniors. She goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a wonderful time and feels like part of a big, happy family. We are very fortunate to have her in activities to bring joy to our seniors' lives.

My husband has been a resident at The Ridge Foothill for almost 6 months. I am always impressed when we arrive at breakfast and Noni or Malu have his coffee and two APs ready almost before he sits down. Their kind attention starts his day off right. And speaking of kind attention starting the day off right, the mornings that Abraham comes in to help Jerry get up and get dressed are good mornings indeed! I would also like to compliment Victor and his maintenance staff. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep the apartment clean and safe. Finally and perhaps most importantly, I think Allison Williams has made a big difference by improving the quality of the medical care since she has been at the Ridge! I am impressed by her attention to detail and her communication skills. I like that she takes a moment to say hello each time she sees us. The med tech staff does an amazing job dispensing medications and eye drops. Susan, Fernando, Elsy, Michael and Connie are very attentive and kind!

There were many benefits of moving to the Ridge Foothill that I anticipated. Having meals prepared and served in a dining room with a splendid view of the city and mountains. Being able to rely on experienced caregivers when necessary. Weekly apartment cleaning, interesting activities organized by an imaginative team, an exercise room with daily classes, to name a few. What I didn't fully appreciate is the social connections there would be with both staff and residents. I look forward to dining three times a day with friends I've made, being served by cheerful and thoughtful servers. I am particularly impressed with the skills of Noni, Malu, Nora and Clara. Care Partners Eric, Abraham, Fariba, Esther and Lily have been extremely helpful. The only drawback I can think of is the busy traffic on Foothill Drive. This took a little getting used to.

My family and I couldn't be happier with our experience at The Ridge Foothill. The property is beautiful and state-of-the-art, it's like a luxury hotel! Our dad moved in to the memory care neighborhood and was treated with dignity, compassion, and a great deal of respect from each and every care provider at The Ridge. The good energy of the place is evident from the moment you walk through the doors. The residents, staff, and visitors all seem to be happy, joyful, and well taken care of. It is a warm, caring, and nurturing atmosphere. Mandie Pauni, the sales director at The Ridge, was one of the main reasons we decided to have our dad live at The Ridge. She is an OUTSTANDING individual and a true angel on earth! Navigating assisted living/memory care for a loved one for the first time is daunting and not something one does often. Mandie and her team were absolutely amazing, treating us and our dad/husband like her own family. There was nothing she wouldn't do for us and she helped us with big details and small ones too. She helped us tremendously. Thank you, Mandie! I can't imagine a better experience with something so significant as transitioning a loved one into an assisted living environment. The entire team at The Ridge is top-notch!!! This is the only place we'll ever consider if other family members are ever in need of assisted living.

The executive director here, Bobby Ginn, is doing an awesome job making changes as we are going thru growth pains. He is great to work with as he is open to suggestions and then follows up on them. His door is always open to the residents and their families to come in and discuss any issues. It is easy to make friends here as you make yourself friendly.There is a great activity schedule daily that you can participate in as you see fit. From board games to shopping trips to going site seeing up one of the canyons. A movie is shown almost every evening. IMO, the Ridge Foothill, under executive director Bobby Ginn and his fantastic staff, is THE premier senior living community in the country. My Mom (a resident since January 2020) and I thought it was wonderful from the start, but what the Ridge Foothill has done during the pandemic has been nothing short of astounding. Their safety measures and commitment to keeping the residents happy and healthy in innovative ways throughout this time of isolation from families have been amazing. And the fact that every resident at the Ridge and most of the aides are already fully vaccinated or awaiting second shots (in the case of new residents) makes families like mine breathe so much easier. Incredible staff, gorgeous living spaces, engaging activities! We recently moved my grandfather into their memory care, and I couldnt be happier. The staff are always available to answer questions. Before moving him in, I reached out a few times over a few months, and Cindy was always happy to answer questions and provide information for me. They made sure my grandfather and my family were comfortable with what was going on and his transition was as smooth as possible. While my grandpa wasnt thrilled about the move, he has adjusted well and thats definitely due in part to the staff and environment they have created at the Ridge. We moved my grandma to the Ridge a couple months ago and have seen a drastic improvement in her quality of life. It really does make a difference where someone lives in their happiness, health, and overall mood. Whereas other facilities can take 30 or so minutes to respond to a residents needs, staff will be there helping my grandma within 5 minutes any time she calls for it. They are great at communicating with the family and really work to get to know their residents needs in order to be able to help accommodate them as best they can. Also, the facility is beautiful!

I had surgery at the university of Utah hospital. i live in New Mexico and the Doctors wanted me to stay in Salt Lake months after the surgery for close follow up. I do not have family. the family housing unit at the hospital did not fit my needs. I got on line and found the ridge . I called the staff was more than helpful. She came to my hospital room to show me a book about their services. The assisted living nurse came as well. All the staff I dealt with were outstanding. very friendly and went out of there way to help in any way they could. I got a one bed room. the vie was good. It was like a new hotel. The meals were outstanding as was the wait staff. The would learn names very quickly and warn me about possible allergens in my food. A good variety , fresh and hot. I never needed room service but it available. Residents were very friendly to new residents. the outings are great and a chance to get to know good friends. Everyone that worked here was great because they like their job and consider residents their family. I would without hesitation recommend the Ridge for short stay or long term. At first I thought it was a little pricey but with the services they provide it it well worth it. I feel you pay for what you get. I felt very safe and secure. The staff is the main reason I went to the Ridge but it is new and very nice like a new modern hotel.

My mom moved from Connecticut to the Ridge a few months ago. The transition for her has been seamless, helped in large part by a terrific staff that are very accommodating. She was also able to immediately find great doctors and a dentist. The physical activities at the Ridge have allowed her assessment to improve (from a Level II to a Level I). She enjoys bingo and weekly shopping trips. The location is convenient for us to visit. We often bring her grandchildren (6 year old twins) to stay for dinner, a testimony to the quality of the food. In sum, we could not be happier with the move.

After having a surgery, I stayed at The Ridge in a beautiful furnished apartment. The staff brought me room service anytime I called and ensured I was comfortable while I recovered. The food was delicious and I appreciated the large menu offering so many options at each meal. The staff were attentive and I was provided a pendant to page the caregivers when I needed help. I would highly recommend The Ridge to anyone needing assistance! When I am ready for assisted living, I will be moving to The Ridge.

My son took me from South Ogden to Daybreak and Salt Lake County and looked at all the senior living places that we could get to and compared several things. We were looking for the environment, the help from the employees, and the food. When we found the Ridge, it was new, and that was what first attracted us to it.When we were looking for a place to live, we found that the appearance (the neat clean appearance) was the best but after living for almost a year, I find that the staff and the care are even better. I also find that the food and the activities surpass the excellence of the design of the building.They make you feel as comfortable as possible and the activity program is more than enough to keep you busy.The Ridge is extremely friendly and competent. From the moment I was here, I felt like I was at home. Everybody seems to knows my first name and its great. I am totally satisfied with the care and the atmosphere here. I would highly recommend it!

I came by last week with my mom to look for a place for my grandma who definitely needs a place that will assist her with her daily routine such as getting dressed, getting her meals prepared, and helping her get to places.We were all shocked at how nice this place is. We did not expect a senior living to be this lavish and classy. I felt like I was in a really nice hotel that had an exceptional view and one thing that stood out to me is that they provide transportation for their residents using a TESLA!
