My experience at Meadow Lakes was exceptionally good. I was in to rehabilitate and the physical therapist were great. The CNAs were exceptionally kind and such a pleasure to be around. My thanks to Karli and Amy and all the other CNAs that made my stay a very wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone. Thank you.

We brought dad to Meadow Lake due to the professional presence of Hannah Jackson. She helped in every way possible to meet our needs. I understand she will be leaving her position and it saddens me because she is one of the main reasons we chose Meadow Lake.

My experience with assisted living side with a client that I have was great. staff very nice friendly and helpful when needed. I love the second shift staff their very wonderful , caring and one that cares so much her name was Kim she was very helpful and came in to personally check on the clients also a few of the ladies on the morning shift. Understand assisted living, they are there to help assist those who are mobile. This place is the best, placing yourloved one here they will get the care.

My aunt lives there and has been without central AC for many months because the drain pan leaks on her bathroom floor when the AC is running. They put something similar to a window unit in her bedroom but it is loud and does not cool her living room adequately. We have been in contact with the complex since last winter about this and have been told for more than six months that the drain pan has been ordered. I have been patient and waited for a solution to this problem, but have reached the end of my patience and am now posting this in the hopes something will finally be done. Not only is the central AC not working in her apartment but there are other safety issues as well that I have notified the management about and nothing has been done. The management is full of excuses but no solutions. I regret moving my aunt to Meadow Lake.

The staff is nice and always ask how things are going. They seem to always be interested in your welfare and safety. I enjoy activities and the transportation. I especially enjoy the weekly outings to lunch and shopping.

I have been living at Meadow Lake for 2 years right after my husband died. It is the best place I could have chosen. My daughter lives close by and I heard about this place due to my daughter’s father in law living here. She highly recommended me moving here. All of the people here are nice and I enjoy them. I am really enjoying being here. I moved in on April 16th. I find it to be a very comfortable place. I am meeting lots of people and also enjoying the many activities. I find the food to be especially good. I certainly recommend Meadow Lake to anyone at my state of life to be a good place to be.

Out of the 4 facilities that I have visited in the Tyler areas, this was the only one that I considered moving into. The staff and residents are all very friendly. There is a very warm and inviting atmosphere here. Maintenance has provided solutions to most of my concerns. The ones not covered does not cause any problems for me. Dining is excellent. There are great cooks and servers. We have our own beautician on sight and our own exercise facility. All in all I find everything here to be beyond acceptable.

It’s been six weeks since we moved to Meadow Lake Senior Living and we are thoroughly enjoying living here. Everyone we have met, both residents and staff, are terrific. The restaurant serves a variety of superb food and almost everything can be customized. We had things needing to be fixed in our home. The maintenance staff responded quickly, and got things repaired or replaced. It is a pleasure to look out at our beautiful well-maintained landscaped campus fully realizing we don’t have to mow and trim. It is all done for us. That is mighty fine. I moved into Meadow Lake 3 months ago and I have zero complaints. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the food is excellent, and the residents are helpful and friendly. I am very happy here and I should have made this move several years ago. I am so lucky that I have found it. It is the best move that I have ever made.

I have been a resident of Meadow Lake Retirement Community for 11 1/2 years, and I love it. There is none other in all of East Texas that compares. We are like one big happy family. We care for each other, check on each other, pray for each other, etc. You can be as involved or as uninvolved as you want. You can meet your friends for a delicious meal in our luxurious dining room ordering the chef’’s choice for the day or a meal from our multi-page menu. About the only complaint I ever hear is, I wish I had come here sooner.

When we chose Meadow Lake for our retirement we had a deposit on another senior living community. After visiting Meadow Lake we changed our minds. Our experience of nearly two years here has been the most welcoming and inclusionary we might have imagined . . . probably the most challenging for the staff & managers during Coved 19. Our personal health was well protected over the recent pandemic months. The staff made sure we were cared-for and well-fed during critical & unexpected winter power outages. They continue to support and care for our needs as we all return to more normal living. As a result, we have made new, solid friends as we survived together in what might have been otherwise very trying times.

Every-time I have visited my Grandmother, Uncle, Aunt or cousin, its been FANTASTIC. The facilities are excellent and the staff have always been very accommodating and helpful. We are now in the process of helping my dad get a place there too! A few of these other people that are writing bad reviews, well they're just looney! 🙂 Remember, Opportunity is never lost, its just taken advantage of by someone else... Are you that someone?

My mother is in the Memory care at Meadow Lake and she loves it. She thinks she has her own apartment with a lot of neighbors to socialize with. I do not worry about her at all because I feel confident with the Staff.

Extremely short of staff. Very unorganized. Workers are overworked with little thanks. Stay away from this place. If you truly love your loved one. I've seen accident covered up and slow to respond to emergencies .
