Laurentide has been such a positive experience for my mother in law, and for all of us who care about her. It is clean, fresh and up to date in decor. The staff is warm and sincere; genuinely concerned about the residents well being and happiness. The community offers multiple activities that provide structure, stimulation and enjoyment. It has been a great life choice for her.

The day my dad stepped into Laurentide at Mashpee Commons; he found his forever home. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. They are so thoughtful, considerate, attentive and caring to not only the residents but their families as well. They go out of their way to make sure they understand the resident needs. They always have the residents' best interest at heart. The meals and choices they offer are varied, accommodating and delicious. The activities are wide-ranging and well thought out. My favorite happens to be the weekly concerts, which I enjoy thoroughly with my dad. I love seeing him and the other residents singing along with the particular artist. I also love seeing the rapport that all of the employees have with the residents. I feel like my dad is in a beautiful, well-appointed home. Thank you Laurentide! YOU ARE THE BEST! Therese

I have presented in the theater at Laurentide At Mashpee Commons on three different occasions. Each time that I step in the door, I am reminded that there is something very special about this community. The many public spaces are spotless, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. Everyone that works at Laurentide, regardless of their position, is welcoming and kind. I have been impressed with the caring way that workers interact with residents. The residents that I meet appear happy, calm, and very well cared for. I highly recommend Laurentide At Mashpee Commons.

Just want to say how fortunate we are here at Laurentide to have such a wonderful manager running this facility. Through COVID and 2 staff vacancies and all the trials and tribulations of this major job you can always go to her with any concerns and have her address them in a very timely manner. She just had a great meeting gathering us all to have us express any concerns and brought many issues to our attention and we brought concerns to her. An extremely good communicator. My Husband and I feel very well cared for by the wonderful staff. So nice to feel safe which we were not feeling at home. That you Vanessa!

Last posting My mother passed away on December 30 at the age of 99. For the past three and half years she lived at Laurentide in Mashpee where she blossomed as an elder. She had the opportunity to express herself through art and craft classes. She exercised daily in the various classes available to the residents at Laurentide. She received exceptional care from the staff when needed. I thank the Laurentide community for making my mom’s last years happy and fruitful. My mother has been a resident at Laurentide for the past two years. Her care has been just wonderful. She enjoys the many activities they provide for the residents. All the caregivers are amazing in the concern for the residents and are very responsive to the families of those they care for. We highly recommend Laurentide and the great people who work there

A lovely place to live. Well maintained with a knowledgeable and friendly staff I have lived at Laurentide for three years and find activity meetings of interest with field trips to many areas on the Cape. During these years I have made friends with my interests and others who have introduced new ideas and interests. Meal time is friendly and meals are good with yummy desserts. Should you ,for any reason, be thinking of this new way of living a visit to Laurentide will certainly be worth your time .

Though I do not have a person that is a resident here, I have spent a considerable amount of time in the dining area observing. I would like to send a shout out to the woman that works at the reception desk( Ally) by the entrance. From the moment I stepped foot in the door she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She gently guided me through the entrance protocols and was quick with a smile, answers to my endless questions and anything else I needed help with. She set the tone for the entire establishment. On one of my visits, I was having difficulties with one of the staff members, I was quickly escorted to the directors office by this receptionist. The director ( Maureen) could not have been more open, professional or accommodating. I was in awe of her handling of my situation which was addressed and settled with lightening speed . From my observations in the dining room, I was pleasantly surprised by how the residents are attended to, the quality of the food and quality of service. You feel as though you are in a nice restaurant and your own home all at once. The servers addressed residents by name, and served them quickly and efficiently. The common rooms are furnished beautifully and the residents I passed by or witnessed dining were very content and comfortable and enjoyed socializing with each other. Based on what I have seen so far , I would highly recommend this Senior community!

My mom was a resident of Laurentide at Mashpee Commons and felt a close feeling of home there. She had always been a quiet shy person but this environment really brought her out of her shell. She loved joining in for all the activities and made dear friends. I wish we had found this place earlier because it truly brought her joy. The staff was the best in helping us stay involved with her while giving us peace of mind that she was always safe. Mom told all her family and friends how much she loved her home there and recommended it to everyone she talked to. Thank all staff and residents for being there form mom....:)

My mother was among the very first residents of Laurentide, where she moved from Rhode Island to be closer to my brothers family, when she could no longer manage on her own. Her health is better and her spirits good, despite the pandemic, thanks to the staff at Laurentide.Since I live in New York State, when I visit her, I stay in the guest apartments, which are so comfortable and just a few steps away from my mom. I am looking forward to returning as soon as it is safe; for my mother, Laurentide is HOME; for me, it is home away from home.

My in-laws became residents of Laurentide last fall during COVID. The staff all made the transition from home to assisted living seem less for them. They loved their new condo and all the friendly & professional care they were receiving. My father in law loves the food & has actually put on a few pounds & looks great! My mother in law is very impressed with the decor & how spotless everything is. Unfortunately we have just had to move them to Avita (memory care unit). Laurentide again made the transition seem less for them. The whole family feels that they are getting the very best of care & are always willing to listen & do anything we ask. They continually go above & beyond. So grateful to have such a wonderful, caring, & professional group of people taking care of our parents!

Our family has had our parent at Laurentide for about 6 weeks, after coming from another Assisted Living community (which we liked) living there for just over 4 years. Laurentide has gone over the top with their care, insightfulness, really knowing our parent, working with us in her transition which has been difficult and all things of the highest professional stature. We have been so pleased with our experience at Laurentide; it is an incredibly happy place; residents seem to be always smiling. The proactive support we get from the staff whether its program team, Health Director, CNAs, dining team, front desk has been more than excellent. I am very pleased with the care my parents are getting at Avita at Laurentides.I removed my parents from a nice assisted living community in Brewster because of sub par care.What I found at Laurentides is a community of wonderful and caring staff and workers.It really does feel like a family when I visit.It begins with the front desk worker, maintenanceperson and the housekeeping gal. The sales staff made it very easy for me totransition my parents.The nursing staff is very committed and professional.The staff within Avita memory care are wonderfuland very caring.Every time I visit there is something going on and many are involved.They have many, many activities, entertainment venues and theirHappy Hours are very well attended.Residents seem very happy and engaged.What I appreciate most is the communication they allow me with everyone on the staff.I highly recommend Laurentides!!!!

My Mom and Dad were both at Laurentide and were well cared for always. My Dad has passed, but Mom who is in Avita, the memory clinic, is so fortunate to have the caring Laurentide staff and now additionally the hospice staff to care for her. Earlier in their stay they benefited from the activities, outdoor space, games and commraderie with other residents. The food and dinner setting were always mentioned by my Dad as very good. Covid has made this past year challenging, but I cant think of a place that my Mom could have been more safe or well cared for.

Staff at Laurentide are very attentive and caring including the management who are hands-on and clearly dedicated to making this the best experience for their residents. Beautiful facility, lots of events, great food by all accounts. And the 4pm Happy Hours are a great opportunity for visitors, residents and employees to get to know one-another. This is something that Laurentide Mashpee is particularly good at - giving the old folks an incentive to get out of their rooms and take advantage of what this place has to offer.This has been a very positive experience for us, and we would gladly recommend the Laurentide to anyone seeking to place an elderly loved one in a safe, active community.

laurentide was a blessing to our family. my mother had dementia and we moved her into their memory care unit in October. I was so impressed with all of the staff at this facility. they were the most compassionate and loving people. unfortunately my mom passed away 2 months after entering the facility but the nurses there where 100% on point I would highly recommend this facility. they are so knowledgible in this field and knew exactly how to deal with the disease, making it easier for our family. I drive by the facility weekly and almost want to pull in and hug everyone who I had contact with, they became family to me even though it was only for 2 months. truly a professional and loving place during a very hard and difficult time. and I can not even express how wonderful maureen gardner is. I just hope the staff realizes what a difference they made during such a horrific time.

Went to visit this property for my girlfriends grandfather. Everyone was extremely caring and kind. The building is spotless and has a nice home feeling to it. We are hoping to move him in the next few months so he can enjoy proper care. Where he is now is awful and we worry for his safety.

If you or a family member is considering Independent, assisted or memory-care living, I highly recommend Laurentide in Mashpee. It is a brand-new facility with beautiful apartments, a VERY caring staff of people, delicious food and many activities to choose from, as well as wonderful entertainment. They provide transportation to and from doctor appts and many off-site events. Your apartment is cleaned once a week, and you can choose to enjoy the comfort of your apartment, or join in with the many social events that are offered. I cant say enough wonderful things about Laurentide in Mashpee!
