Being a part of the Legacy family has been a great experience thus far! You can tell the staff truly cares about the residents here, and each other. Everyone works together, supports each other and has a common goal in mind to create the best home environment possible for the residents. I cant say enough positive things about my experience with the Legacy Grande Vie! When I realized my dad could no longer live on his own I did some research and immediately felt very comfortable after my tour with Amber! Amber was extremely professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. The entire staff (shout out to Stacy and Theo)is friendly, respectful and very helpful with all of his needs. My Dad is very involved in the wonderful activities they offer and is socializing again! I am grateful that my father is in a safe, clean and caring environment and now calls The Legacy his home! Thank you for all you do!

I have been here since last November and made some friends here. There are a variety of activities to choose from. The staff is very helpful when you have questions, everything is included in your rent except your phone, including washing and drying your clothes, cable, breakfast and dinner, housekeeping, trips to grocery stores, banks etc. Come for a tour and see what we are all about!

I met Tracy about a month ago when I called about Grande Vie sponsoring a luncheon for the East Rochester Senior Center. His energy is amazing, communication to our member and myself is over and beyond. He brought life to the luncheon and held a chair aerobics class at the center. Our members are begging him to come back to do more classes. Being new in my position I have been able to call him and get resources for servicing the ER Community. Our Mom has been at the GrandVie Legacy for approximately a year and 1/2. The staff there is absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough kind things about how they truly care about their residents. They are always kind and helpful and we feel our Mom is very safe there. The updates with furniture and paint and carpeting has really given it a wonderful facelift! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the cleaning. The cleaning people are very nice and friendly but, as someone who has been doing this for 30 years leaves a bit to be desired. That is truly my only complaint.

Amber, Joe and the rest of the amazing staff at Grande Vie' were a refreshing bright light in the darkness when my family recently realized that our mother could no longer live independently. There are a sea of challenges when this happens and one of them is finding the right place for your loved one. We visited several locations in multiple states before we found Grande Vie.' It is the perfect location in Penfield and the interior is modern and well-appointed. But most importantly, the staff are friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable which is crucial for families going through this transitional period. I would recommend Grande Vie' to anyone looking for independent, assisted living or memory care. In fact, I have told several people I would like to live there myself when the time comes.

Grande'vie is a wonderful senior community. I spoke with Amber who was very knowledgeable and seems to have a passion for her job and the Residents. The meals looked great! There seems to be a lot of activities with staff participation. I popped in during their summer carnival and it was so much fun. The Residents seem so happy and well cared for.

My dad has been here since 2015. When he first arrived it was fantastic. Very affordable. The right amount of privacy and independence if he needed it. Well cared for independent living apartments. New leadership and ownership occurred a few years ago. I feel it has gone down hill. Maintenance of facility is minimal and takes months and months. It looks shabby and dated. Its still goes up in price every year by at least $100 so for what he pays now it's questionable if he will stay. The staff are generally great. Rachel and Amy especially. Lots of turnover has happened. Meals are good. Leadership has responded to my requests promptly so that's nice but honestly I don't feel I should have to point out thinks that are broken. There should be inspections. Housecleaning is a service offered but it's very minimal. I wish it was well cared for. My dad hates change but even he feels it's gone downhill. Lots of vacancy says it all. No one visiting would think "wow this place is well cared for." Again it's not the direct staff they do their best and I appreciate all they do for their residents. Listen to them. I bet they have ideas for improvement and welcoming back processes for a well run residence.

Legacy Grand Vie is an amazing place, a place called "home" for our dad. The staff go above and beyond at every request and truly care about the residents. My dads room is a spacious studio with all the amenities. Very clean, up to date and fresh. From the moment you enter the building, you are welcomed with friendly, caring staff. It's a cozy facility that reminds me of home. The ED is a breath of fresh air, he's is involved with the residents and takes the time to meet the families and gets to know the residents. The chef is outstanding and prepares meals that are desirable, healthy and are presented beautifully. It's not like a cafeteria style living facility, where the food is cooked in mass quantities ahead of time and headed up. These are truly great meals! A lot of thought goes into meal planning, and it shows. The housekeeping staff are on top of it! They are thorough with their cleaning and leaving supplies that are needed. It's not just a 'lick and a promise', then they're gone. They are a team that works very hard to keep the residents rooms clean and tidy. Having assisted living and memory care also on the same campus is very nice. Adjustments can be made as time progresses. I could go on and on about how happy we are here. The last place my dad was at in Fairport, was undesirable and unpleasant for him. Legacy is the best place for our dad!!

My mother lived at grand vie for 4 years' She passed away last year. It was a hard time to have someone in a living facility with COVID. My mother was always treated well. When we couldn't go in and see her the staff really stepped up and Mom had great care. I miss all her care givers and friend at grand vie but have great memories of her time there.

I first walked into Grandevie and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who got me exactly where I needed to go. The Sales girl Misty was plesent and friendly. Definitely not pushy and knew everything about the community and was an instant click. When walking around everyone was cheerful and stopped to say hi. I ran into all the Directors and a lot of staff members who were walking with people and laughing. While we were walking the community I was blown away by how the staff was celebrating someones birthday! The community life department made cupcakes and were knocking on the door and sang the lady happy birthday with such feeling it made her and me cry. This place just instantly felt like home. The areas were freshly remodeled and are looking great! I was so thrilled to have walked in here!

The Staff, as a whole, at Grandevie are invested in their residents with absolute dedication. When you walk into Grandevie you are greeted by a cheerful and knowledgeable receptionist who is always willing to go the extra mile to help you out. The Executive Director is always available and if she is unable to be at that moment she will ALWAYS get back to you or one of her amazing Department Directors will get in contact with you. The ladies in Sales are delightful and cheerful. They love to get to know someone new and continue that initial relationship forever. The Case Management ladies are extremely knowledgeable and they know the ins and outs of every resident and know all the programs, from working with the VA to making sure Transportation is set up for going to the dentist to include helping anyone out with anything they need or want. The Resident Care, Nursing staff is quick to respond to calls and takes care of their residents as if they were their own family. Dining has gotten so good, its like being in a 5 star restaurant with all your friends. Community Life has their calendars so full of events: everything from going camping, to local stores, Events, restaurants, group exercise to being technically savvy and doing Virtual Reality time. Their popcorn and homemade treats are always a hit with everyone! Housekeeping works together as a United team keeping the community clean, smelling great, and the residents all fall in love with the crew. The Maintenance department will go to the ends of the earth to make sure everything is taken care for the residents, employees, and guests that come into Grandevie. Nothing is too big or too small that crew. All the departments work together as a unified front to ensure everyone gets exactly what they need to make Grandevie their home. The Assisted Living, Enhanced Care, and Memory Care have been remodeled and they look phenomenal. To sum up Grandevie: it is a home that is safe, secure, warm, cozy home that is staffed with the most loving, caring, and dedicated people you could find anywhere without contestation.
