TERRIBLE!! I would give this place a -1. My aunt has resided there for 5 years. the only nice things she has to say is about the staff at the front desk. She complains daily about the food they serve.. cold, tasteless and very little choices. which residents are charged extra!! She also notices that they can't keep the same staff in kitchen / dining area. For the money these residents are charged (over 4k) the CEO's could definitely do better. Would love to see them stop in unannounced for a great dinner!!!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Enclave at Chandler. I love walking in and there being residents always in the front to nicely greet me along with some friendly receptionists. It is a very pretty facility with friendly staff.

My husband went into their memory care on June 20. He also had hospice care while at the Enclave at Chandler. On July 11th, hospice transported him to their Dementia Inpatient Unit to get his meds straightened out. He is now sleeping and his breathing is labored and could not go back to the Enclave. Today I was told that I had to give them a 30 day notice. How could I have predicted that his health would turn like it did? Beware! UPDATE: Bob passed away on July 19th

I moved in on Dec. of 2020. I enjoy my stay here the residents are nice and for the most past easy to get along with! The staff has been very good to me and willing to help where they can! The concierge desk is very helpful and friendly! Maintenance is great they are knowledgeable of the problems, if any, that I have had and do it with a smile! The kitchen on the other hand as been a concern! I am well aware of the impact that Covid had on staffing! But the servers always had a smile for us even though they couldn't fix the problem! As of this month the kitchen as the Beatles would sing "I have to admit it"s gotten better" with the changes that you have made in leadership there are more smiles coming out of the kitchen and more conversations! Another concern I have is that I see outsiders coming in and out and not signing in or out at the front desk! I know it's not the job of the concierge to confront anyone but I feel this "problem" needs to be addressed!

I beg anyone reading this to run fast and run far from this facility. My parents spent over 2 years here that I totally regret. I only gave Enclave a 2 because nothing that happened escalated to either of my parents dying. Other than that I fought one battle after another because of poor care, lousy life enrichment programs, staff turnover, neglect, lack of communication, incompetency, and false claims in their advertising. My parents started out in assisted living together and after a "fluke" episode while an interim executive director was there we were required to move my mom to memory care. At this point both of my parents had an Alzheimer's diagnosis and I had recently moved to Wisconsin. We muddled through 5 executive directors, 4 directors of nursing, 3 assisted living managers, 4 memory care managers, 5 directors of entertainment and programming and many, many, many caregivers, housekeeping and food service people. Arizona has no real state regulations in the senior living facilities business so you have very little recourse except to move your loved ones if the care isn't good. My parents' doctor at Banner Alzheimer's said you can assess a facility by how long the employees have been there and by what they are paid. The facility is only as good as its worst caregiver. We watched the memory care go from being full with 24 residents to dwindling down to 15 when my mom left with a couple of others leaving right after her. I spent hours and hours there the 5 times I came to town in 2022 and the 3 times in 2023, in addition to hours writing emails and making phone calls. Even some of the staff that were amazing were unable to help because of their lack of support from levels above them. The senior living industry is a lucrative business for the executives and they do their best to present a beautiful facility and spend pennies on staff, training and technology needed to engage their residents and provide incentives to maintain employees and their loyalty. If your loved one cannot fully report to you about his/her daily life then this is not the place you want to spend $5,000 a month.

I have family in this community and we are looking for a better place. The apartments are nice and the community spaces are well done but the food is awful. Food quality is very low, portions are small and there is not enough variety. I don't believe the diet they offer meets the daily nutritional requirements for a senior. The staff turnover in the kitchen and dining room doesn't help. (Probably don't get paid enough.) The staff are very nice and most of them care, but it strikes me that no one on site has the authority to make improvements. Off-site corporate managers are making decisions based solely on their ROI which compromises residents' quality of living significantly.

Moving my Mother from FL to AZ last summer was a stressful undertaking as I wanted to find a place for her to live that felt like home, not just another cookie cutter retirement community. Enclave is brand new, beautiful interior, friendly accommodating staff and my Mom fell in love with her new home right away. I love that everything is enclosed so that she doesnt have to walk outside in the heat to get to the dining room, beauty parlor, theater, craft room or so many other places. And I love that my mother has nutritious, tasty meals prepared for her 3 times a day and someone comes to clean her home biweekly. She worked hard all her life and now shes in a lovely independent living community with very high standards that I want and expect for my Mother. Thank you Enclave!

My mother was here for over a year. There was some initial reluctance on her part, but the incredibly caring staff helped with the transition to assisted living. She did very well until Covid hit. She was picky overall and food was her passion. She had a few issues with her food not being perfect in its seasoning or temperature but we solved that with her microwave and spice rack. The staff were always attentive to her needs, which werent insignificant. They were awesome about coordinating outside caregivers like nurses and physical therapists. Unfortunately Covid kept her isolated and that was hard on everyone. The staff went out of their way to help us provide for her during lockdown. A big thank you to all the staff who helped her so much!!

My father stayed in the assisted living & they were so kind & helpful! We found the facility clean & safe & beautifully kept. The food was good & customized to his desires. The Enclave is located near everything including great medical care & the freeways.

We moved into the Enclave in July of 2018, and we are loving it. It has become our comfortable home. The staff is friendly, the meals are great, and the facility is conveniently located. Everything that is needed is available within the building…..beauty salon, theater, library, and dining room etc. There are a number of activities offered ranging from card games to exercise classes and road trips. I highly recommend checking this out.

My Mom has lived here since August 2018. We found it necessary to move her to Assisted Living during this pandemic. Although challenging, the Staff members at The Enclave were a big help! And my Mom is getting great 24, 7 care and attention. Thank You!

The new director has made improvements in the past 6 months or so and hired new staff. The servers in the dining room, the people at the front, and the nurses and caregivers are all great people who really love and take wonderful care of the residents.

We found the Enclave at Chandler very attractive and friendly. we had lunch while touring it, and it was quite good. A good choice of food on the Menu, which varies by day.

Enclave at Chandler, everything is first class. Priority is the care my father receives from the staff, and they exceed expectations. I can see the love they have for my father. Nursing care and management is great, they keep me informed with everything that is going on. Activities from sunrise to sunset. We definitely made the right choice for my father.

This is a wonderful place ! My Mom did NOT want to move into a retirement community, but had to because of being suddenly widowed and having short term memory issues that made living alone impossible & dangerous. Im so thankful for the patience & kindness shown to her (and me too!) as we navigated this transition. It took a while, but after several months she is participating in activities my family & I NEVER thought she would thanks to Lana & the Residence Club. The nurses, caregivers, food service personnel have been wonderful too.

My friend has lived at Palos Verdes in Peoria for 8 years. I hope that my experience at the Enclave at Chandler is as good as her experience has been. Executive Director and Marketing staff are wonderful. Stop by their trailer while the building process is being completed. I am waiting for my apartment but very impatient to move in.
