I took my mother for a tour of Legacy Village and we both liked it very much! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Ashish who was our tour guide. The interior was beautiful and the common spaces were well appointed. The apartments were a decent size, though the closets could stand to be a a little bigger. We got to have lunch while there and the food was very good. There seems to be plenty of activities on the property including a well equipped fitness room with great views! All in all a good visit and a good place to consider for Senior Living!

My father is in memory care at Legacy Village of Sugar House. I have been thrilled with the care he receives. They track and administer all his medications. They bathe, shave, and change him. They have regular activities to engage him. When I do take him out of the memory area, everyone knows him by name and says hi. I travel a lot. It has been comforting to know he is well taken care of when I’m not in town.

Ashish gave us the most detailed and amazing tour. He was patient and answered all our questions, and we had a lot of fun. He took his time and really got to know my mother. He asked questions about her wants and needs to help her figure out if Legacy would be a good fit for her. He truly seemed to care about her instead of just a sales person trying to make his next sale. He was just wonderful!!!

My first day at Legacy Village was fun and exciting. I met so many residents and employees and they were all friendly and caring. My apartment is more spacious than I thought it would be but I still brought too many clothes and had to donate a lot of items to a local charity. There are lots of activities to enjoy and I have tried many of them . Thanks to everyone at Legacy Village I have transitioned to my new home much more easily than I thought I would.

The rooms and common areas are beautiful. Lots of amenities and hands-down, probably the greatest location for senior living: grocery store, two large city parks, pet store, liquor, store, many shops, and restaurants all within a very short walking distance.

We are moving to Salt Lake City from Iowa to be close to grandchildren, a common experience. We diligently researched options, considering location, facilities, and activities available and found Legacy met all our needs. I really enjoyed my tour of Legacy Village. It has the feel of a very high class apartment. I loved the amenities, especially that I could do flower arranging they bring fresh flowers once a week, and I could have a little garden and grow a tomato plant, and I could have my dog there. I liked the rooms I saw were south facing and had lots of light flooding in all day. I’m sure they’re not all that wonderful. The common areas were just a beautiful land comfortable. I think all of my friends would be jealous, which makes me not so excited.

We were able to tour here, it has beautiful views of the whole valley! The residents looked so happy and there was an overwhelming feeling of caring from the staff. You can tell they love the residents and are proud of their building. It is a swanky place with a flurry of activity giving the residents a luxury living experience. The street has so many great stores and it’s in a boutique neighborhood that felt safe. I loved that each resident could decorate their door and shelf outside their home and that they ate in a fancy dining room with servers each meal. That would make visits with family members fun .

The building looks nice but it's starting to show its age. The HVAC system is often broken/leaking. For how much money it costs to live here, the food is terrible for the most part. The soups are pretty good and the salad bar is ok, but the meat seems to be low quality and is often so tough that even the staff recommend against it for people with more disabilities. If you have false teeth you could never eat it. The kitchen does not have a grill so you can't get a real steak. There's a lot of corn, which seems canned. If you want to have a glass of wine with your dinner you have to bring it with you. People have complained to management about the quality of the food repeatedly but nothing seems to change. I moved here from the Sagewood at Daybreak, and the food at Sagewood was so much better. They had a real chef who was responsive to resident concerns. I was not afraid to bring my friends there to eat. I'd never bring my friends to Legacy Village for a meal.

We spent a lot of time researching and touring different communities for our Mom. We are so happy that we chose Legacy Village of Sugarhouse! We love everything about this beautiful community. The staff is incredibly dedicated and professional, always striving to create a vibrant and enjoyable lifestyle for all residents. Everyone at Legacy has helped our Mom immensely and she really loves her new home and friends! Legacy offers a wide variety of activities and fun outings to stay engaged and active - drives up the canyons, lunches at fun restaurants and other well planned outings in their beautiful van. The restaurant style dining is always fresh and delicious. Legacy Village of Sugarhouse is like an upscale beautiful hotel! They have all kinds of wonderful amenities. There is a cozy movie theater, fitness center, game area with aquarium, beauty salon, housekeeping and laundry and plus the views are amazing! Legacy is located in the Sugarhouse area and is close to many shops, restaurants and Sugarhouse Park. There are a lot of fun places nearby to walk to. Legacy Village of Sugarhouse is the best! We are thrilled that our Mom is living in such a beautiful community and we appreciate the entire staff at Legacy Village of Sugarhouse for being so kind and caring to our Mom and making her feel welcome and part of this wonderful community!

The tour was terrific. Ashish is definitely the host with the most! The info was abundantly given. The gym is wonderful as is the outdoor roof top space . Hallways are wide, elevators are big - it looks like a great place to settle in. The neighborhood is beyond great. Whole Foods is only a block away. And, 3 parks in walking distance!

Sadie was great. She could answers questions, give you a map, but the rest of the tour was self-guided. When I got turned around on my tour, a very kind construction worker helped me find the elevators. The units themselves are very roomy, just a quick note (and there are signs everywhere), one king an one queen are the appropriate bed sizes for the 2-bedroom. Lovely views, corners units have larger patios. Lovely property.

My mom chose Legacy Village as her next home when she visited with friends. She took me back for a tour and lunch & was I ever impressed. The facility is gorgeous, with an upscale hotel vibe and the menu in the restaurant was extensive. The food was delicious & served to us by a very kind waitress. Every member of the staff & every resident we met was warm & welcoming. It puts my mind at ease that my 90 year old, still very active mother has found such a great community.

I am a local performer who sings in the best retirement homes in the valley and this might be my favorite to perform in because they have such a beautiful facility and the most friendly and hardworking staff. They always go above and beyond on their special parties and decorations. You can tell the quality of this home by the attitudes and happiness of the residents. I wish I could give them 11 stars! This place has saved my parents! They are absolutely the best place in Salt Lake. My mom left a previous memory care with broken bones and on a stretcher drugged out of her mind. The day after we brought her to Legacy village she was walking on her own and now a few months later she’s better than she has ever been. My dad went in, in a wheel chair and now is within weeks of walking on his own! The staff are top notch. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t have a smile on their face! There are not enough kind words to say!

Kristy Walters is exceptional as the Independent Living Coordinator. She was very helpful and went way beyond the call of duty. She helped me navigate through the complexities of transferring my 94 year old mother to assisted living. She spent many hours and phone calls relaying vital information in insurance issues and finding an acute rehab facility for mom to stay in and get stronger after multiple falls. She is awesome, informative and really cares about the residents!!
