WOW FACTOR AT BRICKMONT OF ACKWORTH! I recently visited here; it was my second visit, and once again, I was joyfully greeted from the moment I stepped in the door (actually, even in the parking lot). I say 'joyfully', for all the staff were clearly enjoying their interactions with the residents and with each other. What struck me the most was the laughter everywhere (and I mean the kind that is inclusive and invites you to join in). I also had an opportunity to watch the Activities Director (Alyssa) engage with the residents. Her sense of joy and fun was palpable and drew everyone in to share in it (the staff as well as the residents). I found myself wishing I could stay a little longer and 'hang out' with folks, but I did need to get on to my next appointment. Bravo Brickmont of Ackworth!!

I highly recommend Brickmont in Acworth, Ga. The staff is fantastic and they strive to make sure everyone feels at home! I cannot say enough GREAT Things about Brickmont of Acworth! My Aunt has been a resident for 4 months (memory care) and she loves everyone there. I would highly recommend this facility. It is beautiful, clean, well-organized, well-maintained and has large portions of good food. In addition, there is music, dancing, bowling, coloring, puzzles, flower arranging and many activities within the facility that the caregivers help with. The amazing staff is compassionate and caring people who loved doing what they do – it shows. A special thank you to Kerri, your day in and day out, compassionate care is over the top! There are many rock stars and I want to mention a few who have made a difference Susan, Brenda, John Michael, Ms. Lucy, Joan, Alyssa, Rose and Pam. You all are very special! I have spent a lot of time visiting, observing different days/different times and I always saw nothing but the best of care to residents. The job that the caregivers have is not easy by any means, but what I love is Brickmont of Acworth has very special staff who truly care. Your family is their family!

Brickmont of Acworth is a wonderful facility. I've worked here almost 3 years, starting as a caregiver and working my up to Concierge and it has become my home away from home. We have an amazing team, and even more amazing residents. Everyone really loves and cares for each other here. I couldn't ask for a better job. I get excited to wake up and come to work everyday.

Was referred here by a local organization called , Serving Seniors. A vey good referral. Brickmont has a thorough tour. Personnel are very welcoming which made my mother feel ok, even though life change can be difficult. Answered as many questions as we had and them some. Willing to work with people with monetary concerns. Residents encountered seem pleasant and do not seem fearful of anything which is good. Would definitely recommend.

I'm glad I chose to check out Brickmont for myself and not rule it out based on other reviews. From my experience, over the last month+ now, I'm thrilled we moved our Mom to Brickmont! Susan and Charity explained their processes to me. Some things are different than what we were used to at the previous community mom lived which took a little time to adjust to Brickmont, but I appreciate them explaining so that I know. The staff we've interacted with have been great! Last week I was able to visit during my lunch hour and witnessed management meeting with their team. Before I left, Mom's caregiver came to take her meal order and even cleaned the bathroom! We initially talked with John Michael, who was very patient and understanding of the delicacy I asked for given our Mom lived in a nearby community. After we deposited, John Michael introduced the other managers who worked with me to get all of our paperwork and information in before Mom came. Take a visit! Make your own assessment. Myself, my siblings, and my Mom are all glad we came to Brickmont!

The community staff is attentive and willing to assist my grandmother even if she is assigned to another caregiver. My grandmother is also very complimentary of the staff which makes us know we selected the correct community as her home.

I can't sat enough about this facility. Very clean and beautiful facility. The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to care for my dad. I am so glad I chose this location for my loved one. The staff is amazing and continues to find ways to go above and beyond . Not all facilities do memory care, but this facility makes it a priority. We are able to lay our heads down at night and rest well, knowing our loved one is cared for and safe, at Brickmont. Darlene and the other staff have become like family.

I would NOT recommend this facility for your loved one. Management is terrible as well as the Nurse on staff. Trash does not get taken out on a regular basis, bed is routinely not made, and apartments are definitely not cleaned routinely. Medications are given out and frequently left for resident to take on their own, which is unacceptable. Pills are found on the floor under the bed. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone in the evening. It appears there is a lack of communication between management and staff. The workers who assist with the residents are very pleasant. There are a few that will go out of their way to provide assistance.

The staff has really bent over backwards to keep everyone safe. They are all working hard to make things work right now. My mother has gotten excellent care and is happy living there in spite of the lockdowns. I miss her, but am happy she is safe. We facetime or visit outside 6 feet away. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Shout out to Nurse Beth, William, Diane, Diane, Mike, Divita, and all the others!!!
