The 4 young ladies that handle all our exercise, rides, other classes are all good They up lift us and make everything fun . Help with phone or any projects . The cleaning ladies are excellent and clean my place every week. The young ladies who serve our meals are kind and patient with all the residents. Silas fixes any problem promptly. Front desk staff is always very helpful. Lots of interesting and kind residents from all over the US. This is my 4th week and I am setting in for the future.

My mom moved to independent living at Harmony about 6 months ago. Bottom line is - she's happy. I visit often. The staff are always friendly, common areas are clean and her apartment is nice. The residents gather for happy hour during the week and spend a lot of time in the common areas which is nice to see since socializing is so important. I haven't dined there but mom gets one meal a day and doesn't complain about the food. Overall it's been a great experience for her and for our peace of mind.

My father and his girlfriend lived at Harmony in West Ashely for just under a year. After looking at numerous Senior Living facilities across the Lowcountry we thought Harmony would be a good fit because of the location, size, and some of the amenities offered. Unfortunately, the communication with the staff was not good. For little things such as hair appointments, happy hour, nails I found it easy to communicate with the Activities Director. However, the more important health issues and quality of care, I had the hardest time getting in touch with the Nurse Supervisor or Director. The week my Dad passed away I tried numerous times to get in touch with the Director of Nursing as I felt my Dad’s health was in jeopardy. After multiple attempts to try to get him in to see a Dr. I took things in my own hands and had him admitted to the hospital. I fear had I not been local and able to see his health go downhill so quickly, he may have suffered more than he did. After Dad’s passing, I requested to meet with the Executive Director who tried making small talk and jokes during our meeting when I questioned him about the lack of communication with the nurses, director of nursing. It was very off putting and I hope no one else has to go through what I did. This facility needs a lot of assistance and something to retain their employees as the retention rate is horrible.

Had a chance to tour this lovely community and met the Nurse Shayla. Was so impressed with her kindness and professionalism as we talked about the best solution for my MIL. If you need a assisted or independent living solution for a senior in your life be sure and check Harmony out.

My parents have both lived at Harmony. Unfortunately, both have passed away in the past couple of years. As I have tried to square away the final payment I have been disappointed in their lack of response to my repeated request to review the final bill ( they have overcharged me ) VM have not been answered, promises to call back have not happened. The staff at Harmony provides excellent and professional services for their residents, family and guests. The facility is very clean and organized and there are many activities and events for the residents to enjoy on a daily basis. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and the food is good too! We have gone through some hard time with Daddy passing and the staff was very flexible during that difficult time. Momma is now in assisted living. After considerable research and in-person visits I found Harmony at West Ashley. My mother was in an assisted living facility in Cary, NC and we wanted to move her to Charleston to be near us as well as two grandchildren and great grantchildren. I worked with Ashley and I could not have found a better person to help me make this transition for my mother. The facility and staff are warm and welcoming. My mother has a lovely apartment with enough room for her treasured furniture and paintings. Up until the Covid-19 crisis she had many visits from her family. Even during quarantine the staff has been very kind in helping us keep in touch via Zoom. I highly recommend Harmony at West Ashley!

My dad moved to AL at Harmony West Ashley last September. My mom passed away and we needed care for him. Everyone at H@WA have been super helpful in caring for my dad. The staff is friendly and the environment at Harmony is like a giant extended family. I felt like family from the moment I walked in the door. As can happen, my dad needed extra care and he moved to Harmony Square. The transition was smooth and the staff is wonderful. He has done really well and enjoys his space and caregivers a lot!

Whenever concerns arise, the staff including housekeeping dining , transportation, nursing and administration do their utmost to provide a solution. My mother at 93 years old is delighted to be there everyday!

We looked into a few places when we realized the time was approaching when our loved one would no longer be able to live alone. Harmony was at the top of our list from our first meeting, and it remained at the top of our list. Ashley was a tremendous help to us throughout the entire process of coming to terms with what was needed and working through to find the best timing for the move and the best apartment. She was patient and thorough, even as we had many questions. Our loved one moved in a few months ago, and we have been so pleased with the care she is receiving. The staff are all kind and concerned. She is happy and has made new friends, she enjoys every outing and participates in a variety of activities. We've enjoyed several meals with her and we are always impressed with the quality and variety of food served, as well as the staff's knowledge of the residents and their likes and dislikes. Every time we visit we leave feeling confident in our decision to choose Harmony at West Ashley as her new home, and with the knowledge that she is safe and doing so well now.

I can’t believe it’s been an entire year since I moved into Harmony at West Ashley in Charleston SC. I can sum up this experience in one word. Home. Although I was apprehensive about leaving my house on Folly Beach, this move has been exactly what I needed. After the loss of my husband and 42 years of marriage, I found myself alone and lacking friends. Here at Harmony I have a multitude of new friends, more activities than I can keep up with, and a staff I’ve grown to love. My children are thrilled I am so well cared for and love coming over for weekly visits. I feel truly blessed. Thank you Harmony for my wonderful new Home.
