I toured this assisted living facility with my grandmother and I have to say it is one of a kind. The dining area was very neat and tidy. The staff are wonderful and very helpful especially Danielle, The Director of Nursing. She has very positive energy and we can tell she loves what she does.

Moved my parents in Harmony at Falls Run, and throughout the whole process the staff was phenomenal and welcoming. Alisa Hilliard (sales) and Justin Thomson (Executive Director) not only made the whole business side of the transition run smoothly, but their compassion and understanding in the face of the stresses and inherent grief that comes with such a huge life transition for my parents meant so much to my whole family. The staff across the board, from executives to food and assistants have been wonderfully welcoming and available to my parents, and I have had open communication with them in order to assure my parents receive the best care. The facility is beautiful, food is great, and atmosphere is one that invites engagement to live into each day with joy and purpose. We are so grateful that my parents are a part of a fun, joy-filled community.

Our experience with Harmony and the staff that works there at the Fredericksburg location is great. The service from their staff is wonderful and friendly, the food is incredible and the facilities are well maintained. They have so many activities for the residents and Mom has made so many new friends! A special shout out to Alisa, Heather (front desk), Tracey, Esther, Kelly, Rhianna and all the other staff who show up everyday to make a difference in the life of the residents who live there and for making Mom feel right at home!

A word of warning about power back rehabilitation that serves Harmony…….watch very closely the dates and longevity of their services. I was blindsided by a bill from them that I received on january17th for about $700 for rehab for my mother. I was not aware that her blue cross portion of service had been exceeded and apparently their billing department is so sorry that my bill was from August thru October and I just got it in January!!! If they billed in a timely manner this would not have happened as I would have ended the therapy since she really hasn’t progressed from it. Oh, and I can expect another bill for November thru Dec. 13 when they discharged her but never informed me about. Maybe I’ll see that bill by the end of 2024. Seriously in need of improvement in my opinion. Beware!

My mother is a resident of the memory care unit at Harmony. She entered care at Harmony in June of 2022, this was her second Alzheimer’s care facility, My mother’s care has been far superior at Harmony than at her previous Alzheimer’s exclusive residential care unit in Fredericksburg. Every time I see my mother, since she has resided at Harmony, she is clean, happy and the food must be good, because he agrees to eat! My experience with Harmony's staff has been equally superior to other Alzheimer’s facilities. They have a small memory care unity and it’s wonderful! While recommending a 24 hour care unit for any Alzheimer’s patience is a big responsibility ( the resident’s can not speak for themselves,) I would recommend Harmony @ Fall Hill confidently. Truly, this small memory care unit is a gem, and truly is the best of the burg.

We just signed up my mom to live at Harmony. We found Harmony through a couple of sources. I had done a Google search to get a list of communities close to me. Harmony was the closest. I spoke with friends who had recently had to find a place for one of their parents. Harmony has at the top of their recommended list. Lastly, I reached out to A Place for Mom and they also highly recommended Harmony. My wife and I did an initial visit and thought it looked perfect. After we took mom for her visit, we knew for 100% that it was. So, the best part for me is that she's excited to be moving there. My mom is in great health and will still be able to live independently for some time. We selected a 2-bedroom, independent-living apartment. The room provides plenty of space for her and the things she plans to bring with her. Like anyone who is moving from a standalone home to an apartment, she'll have to purge a lot, but the apartment provides a really good amount of closet space. They even offered us extra storage space outside her apartment if it was needed. I couldn't have been more pleased with the overall environment and the caring staff. I was surprised when I found out that Harmony had been there for 10 years. The entire facility is spotless and looked new. A few of the takeaways that made the difference for us: She can start out living independently and add assistance as needed. There are a TON of amenities that my mom won't be initially using but it's fantastic to know they're available. She still likes to clean her own place and do her own laundry, but those items are included. She wants to cook her own meals, but the menu looked awesome. It's unlikely that she'll visit the dining room for meals, but if something looks good on the menu, she can have it delivered to her apartment. They have a beauty parlor onsite where she can get her hair done without having to leave. Mailboxes are inside so she can get her mail safely and without having to go outside. My mom prefers a bath to a shower. We were really surprised to find a bathtub in the apartment. Most facilities do not have this as an option. Harmony allows you to customize the apartment. You can re-do pretty much anything. We're going to start with adding some additional shelves to the closets and installing a ceiling fan in the living room. A lot of the above items are small things, but they really add up when you're older, and nervous about moving into your forever home. The staff (a special shout out to Brittany) understood her specific needs and really helped to calm her nerves. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough for everything they've done!

I had the opportunity to tour Harmony at Falls Run yesterday. The facility layout was convenient and the rooms were very large and accommodating. The best part was the friendly staff who were always smiling and friendly. I would absolutely trust this staff and facility with myself or one of my loved ones!

The food and dining services can use a little help, and I understand that the pandemic and related personnel shortages have impacted The Harmony in this area. My sister and brother-in-law live at Harmony. Recently they moved from Independent Living to Assisted Living. This move was unexpected and needed to be completed in a very short time period! I don’t know if this is a normal situation for Harmony but certainly not for our family. Staff went into super mode and took care of everythingfound an available apartment, a mover who moved the furniture from independent to assisted care the very next dayplacing the furniture even hanging pictures so the new place looked almost exactly the same as the old. They worked tirelessly with hospital doctors getting all the necessary paperwork completed and by the grace of God everything was ready for my sister to go to her new home when she was discharged from the hospital. All this while keeping our family calm and in the loop. The nursing staff is remarkable having patience and showing care for all residents. All the staff is friendly and pleasant and have made my sister and brother-in-law feel right at home. They are very happy there and our family knows they are safe!!

This place is amazing from the time you pull up in driveway. First you walk into a very clean, fabulous modern design Lobby which is very inviting. The Front desk staff greets you with a warm smile and Hello. There are residents smiling and greeting you. The dining room is fabulous and even more.

Both my mom and dad live at The Crossings, one in assisted living and one in independent living. Mom and dad are REALLY pleased and happy living there. Nothing compares to living/being at home. When the time comes when a move is necessary, no better place in the Fredericksburg area than at The Crossings.

Not sure what Mr. Ortega is referring to, but my mom had been a resident at The Crossings both as an independent resident and most recently as an assisted living resident. My family has been very pleased with the care she has received. It is a safe environment and all departments have communicated with family members at one time or another.
