When my husband, Butch, and I realized that we had reached the age and stage in our lives that we required support, our daughter began to research assisted living facilities in our area. We also began to make inquiries. Charter Senior Living of Hermitage was the one most often recommended. From our first visit, the atmosphere and reception at Charter was one of warmth and caring, not only from the staff but also from the residents. It felt from our first encounter like a family. In fact Cece, the housekeeper who takes care of our apartment, expressed it best when she told us, “This is my home away from home.” After moving into our apartment, our impression about Charter was confirmed. Zack even came and helped us hang our pictures, and saved me when my printer refused to print. Nurse Sonia and the caregivers came to check on us and see if we needed any help in getting settled. We would especially like to recognize the caring and concern shown to us by Sonia and and the caregivers Allie, Sherri, Keneisha, Deera, Savannah, and Cece in housekeeping. Kelly in the office has gone out of her way to assist us in working with our LTC. Greta is always there to answer our questions and help us in any way. Simone and Jamey are our “go to” people. They are wonderful. Faith works tirelessly to provide activities that are fun and stimulating. That’s not an easy job. She even helped when I had a computer glitch. We give a well deserved “shout out” to Andrew and the kitchen staff. They have the hardest job of all, pleasing so many with food. I would also like to say that the Therapy staff of Legacy at Charter continues to be a life saver for us. We both came to Charter with physical and mobility issues. Gina, Wanda, Angela, Camille, and Tyler are such caring people. They have worked hard to relieve our pain and prepare us not only for the surgery we are facing, but for improving our quality of life. We are now a part of the Charter Family, and happy to be so.

What a wonderful community! I had the joy of attending a SPARK program there today. It was a blast. This community has so much going for them. Amazing residents, superb staff, beautiful apartments (Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living Villas). I love the layout of the community. The chef was celebrating his birthday today and treated us to an awesome pasta bar. Donna gave me a wonderful tour. It was so nice to see the centralized courtyard. I am a nature lover and could see spending my mornings there with a nice cup of coffee. Great job! You really made me feel welcome. I will be recommending your community.

We have recently moved our 101 year old grandmother here and could not be more impressed. My grandmother did not want to move at all, but they have worked very hard to make her happy and comfortable. She told me today how nice everyone is and that's she's never lonely. They have gone above and beyond giving her special attention that she needed. The facility is bright and clean. Her apartment is roomy and even has a little fenced porch. And every person we encounter has been caring and helpful. It has been so peaceful knowing that she's in good hands.

I am very anxious to move my mom here from another facility, as Charter seems to have a much more logical approach. In addition, they are so much smaller than most other communities, which does make a difference. On our tour with the FABULOUS Donna, we learned that even in the "little things", Charter stands out: lanyards, laundry, etc. are simplified where many other communities price gouge on such essentials. Moving is not a simple thing for us due to brain injury and confusion, but I'm positive that Charter is where we will go if and when we can make it happen.

Charter is the best. Mom has been there for several years and is happy. She loves her friends there. They have great activities, she loves her bingo and music!! Thank goodness for Donna. She has been a lifesaver for this family. She works hard and so helpful. They have a new Director, Andrea who is amazing and just what Charter needs. Have they had issues in the past? Certainly as any facility but I never felt my Mom was not being loved and cared for. Their crew is great. Anyone leaving a terrible review, I would consider the back story. This place is perfect for my 95 year old mother. She had prospered, even with dementia. Thank you to Andrea, Donna and team for keeping me updated and informed of happenings. I am 500 miles away and they make sure I know what is going on. Even Angie will FaceTime me with her often. Check them out. They are the best.

This is the nicest facility that our family has visited. We look forward to using them for Respite Care in the future. The staff truly cares about their residents and their thought, care, and flexibility to manage and help their residents live the fullest life is something that can make you emotional in a good way, because you know that if you are in a situation where a lived one can no longer stay at their own home, that they will find a new home at Charter. Thank you to Andrea (director of nursing) and Donna (director) dor all you do and all the love you have for the families and residents you look after.

If you're thinking about your love one going to a facility, I highly recommend Charter in Hermitage. The staff is amazing, and will treat your family as their own. They/ you become family as soon as you walk in the building. I can't say enough good things about McKenna the DON- she is simply amazing. Every resident is important and family to her. I would trust her with any of my family. Angie & Allie with activities pour their heart and soul into everything they do. This doesn't come by easy. The nurse Danielle is so sweet, caring and thoughtful!! I could go on and on about other staff but at this point I think you understand how I feel.

This company is the best when providing services to my parent. I have never had any negative interaction with anyone at this campus. I have the full trust that they are taking care of my loved one. Angie is the best, she takes time to make sure that I am informed and she honestly loves her job taking care of her patients. I did a walk through with Donna today as I'm currently looking for a place for a relative with dementia. After seeing how lacking the memory care protocols are at other facilities I was BLOWN AWAY by their treatment options and plans for their memory care residents. The facility is clean, bright and very well decorated. All the patients I saw were engaged, upright and relaxed. I urge you to check this place out if you're looking for quality and compassionate care.

Nice and clean facility. Staff was very friendly .Perfect person for the DON Charles Reedy . Leaders lead by example and work just as hard as their workers and that’s exactly what Charles Reedy does!!!! The Administrator thank me for coming and welcomed me back that means a lot to know that they truly appreciated me for helping the facility out. Melinda was very polite and pleasant. So I would highly recommend working for Charter !!!!

After looking at seven different memory care facilities for my mom, I decided on Charter. It was a the best decision I could have made. Everyone (management, staff, kitchen, cleaning, maintenance and activity workers included) shows care, comfort and kindness to my mom and makes her feel right at home. Charter has become like a family to me. Donna in the front office has been spectacular. She walked me through the process of getting mom set up in the right level of care and checks in on her almost every day, even with the demanding work load that she already has. And from other family members I know that she takes this kind of care of everyone's loved ones. Danny the director has made sure that as mom's cognitive status (she had a stroke and was hospitalized prior to moving there) and physical status have improved from Charter's fantastic activities and staff, she has progressed not only physically and mentally but that she has moved from Memory Care to the main Assisted Living floor - even though Charter will lose tens of thousands of dollars from moving her there. Donna and Danny really care about my mother and not just the corporate bottom line!!! All of the activity directors, nurses, kitchen staff, and management work really hard to keep the residents involved and active while always coming up with new projects and (family involved) entertainment with many special occasion holiday events. I am so grateful to all for the care my mother is receiving.

I spoke to Donna yesterday about possibly moving my Mom into their assisted living. She was extremely helpful and understanding about the issues that my Mom has. Unfortunately my Mom could not afford to live there but I sure wish she could. I believe it would be a wonderful place for her.

Excellent and warm community. Very caring staff and management. The decision to move a parent to an assisted living facility is a difficult decision. This community made the transition easier for the family. Check it out for your loved ones. You will be happy and they will also.

If you are searching for a place for a loved one I would suggest you check this community out. Unfortunately they werent able to accommodate our loved one as she needs more than everyday assistance. Sure wish we had found this place a couple years earlier. Donna went above and beyond to help answer questions and was understanding and compassionate.

The only regret our family had was not moving mother to Provision much sooner. Provision Living at Hermitage was excellent! The care our mother received was very loving and professional. She moved to Provision after several mishaps at her former Assisted Living Residence. We fell in love with the staff and the facility. Everyone was helpful, professional, caring and kept a watchful eye on mother. She was very happy. The facility is beautiful, affordable, and welcoming with great activities for residents and families. Sadly our mother passed away in September, but her time at Provision Living was filled with joy. We want to send a special thanks to the Director, Jenna Wetherholt, and her amazing team.
