I moved to Liberty Heights 2 1/2 years ago and am extremely happy here! A lovely apartment, lots of good friends, 3 times a week in the wonderful pool for water aerobics. The food is good; there is a meaningful Bible Study once a week and a church service as well. Quite a variety of activities for those who want to take part. My youngest son and his family live 15 minutes away, and I enjoy my times with them! The annual rent increases are always a shock however!!!!

Yes, my friends dad is in there and we visit him all the time. Thank you to the security guard at the front. He’s always waiving with a smile on his face and so welcoming. Also, one of my neighbors her mother is in there, and she always says that the young man in the security is always so polite to her, thank you. I didn’t catch his name last time, but I think i heard Isaiah or Isaac thank you for making us feel so welcome to see our family members. I could see you take pride in your job. I hope your bosses appreciate you and recognize their employees. I was going to call Corporate and give a good feedback as well. I’ve seen other people at the gate and it hasn’t been the same. So thank you to Isaac or Isaiah. I remember telling him someone raised you right and he said his mom is a social worker for seniors. I have loved living here. The people are so friendly and I have made many friends. The downside is the maintenance department. Almost impossible to get work orders taken care of. All other on staff are excellent and the waitresses are so friendly and accommodating.Very happy.

Our family can't say enough great things about Liberty Heights. My parents moved here from out of state and lived at Liberty Heights for 11 months. The residents were welcoming and loving, the views great, and location excellent for exterior appointments. The reason for leaving was Dad moved to Heaven and mom wanted to be near us after that, in another state. The entire staff was a huge factor in a successful and supportive living environment for my parents. The staff was friendly and always had positive attitudes and kindness in every department from the office, to wait staff, maintenance and security. We were continually impressed with the service oriented attitude of them all. The food was great too, my parents really enjoyed their time there. I would HIGHLY recommend Liberty Heights for any senior.

The purpose of this 5 star plus review is to reinforce why Liberty Heights is the" TOP" medical recovery Skilled Nursing Facility ! The BLUF-BOTTOM LINE UPFRONT- is Liberty Heights performed a historical unprecedented act that saved my life from a septic toxic infection that permeated my body and spine. Specifically After 7 weeks of bedridden false starts and 50 pound muscle loss I was transferred to Liberty Hts . Meracusilessly within 2 weeks we had a solid blue print for success. In hind sight I realized why Liberty hts care goes far beyond the standard Skilled Nursing facility. In practice Liberty hts is a total rehab well oiled care machine. The foundation is the exceptional staff. Executive management by design is lean, agile and meticulously chosen to be the best in class. Danny the administrator is the "GOAT-"best natural leader I have witnessed in my Senior Air Force and Executive corporate career. He is supercharged with carisma and empathy . Consequently all his employees and residents follow his lead. Diane the Director of Social Services in my opinion is the gatekeeper for Liberty Heights. By applying a skillfull management processes and complete and total knowledge of procedures she ensures Liberty Heights is on a steady course. Diane truly loves her job.She demands the best. I go to her first when in uncharted territory. The Nursing elite is highly motivated, educated , equipped with latest technology, and organized around a solid management structure. Penny the DON is our canidate for "Daisy" nurse. She is a superb leader that can step into any position and solve any predicament. She is at the top of her profession. Deb the charge nurse lives up to her title. Her focus is to run a tight ship of daily care. She performs her duty extremely well. Michelle director of activities has great coordinatoors Bri and Wendy that ensure residents are entertained and happy. Nurse Katie is the Queen of hearts - a pristein personification of love and caring. "Nurse eclectic" or Nurse Jamie shares her 25 years of experience with the entire staff. She eagerly jumps in when needed. I refer to Nurse Jen and CNA Linda as the "dream team" that provides precise lighting fast care. I appriciate all the valuable lessons that nurse Stacy has taught me in my time at Liberty Heights. LH puts a premium on their best in class Chief Nurse Assistants - the front line of care. CNA Monique is the top of her profession ensuring ultimate customer experience. Veronica fills the residents with joy and hope. I recognize Jessica (Wonder woman)for her gental application of massive strength that can overcome any emergency. Gwen Rodriguez is"Ms super clean" Germs are toast. One facit that separates Liberty Heights from standard skilled Nursing is LH incorporates a team of highly regarded Physician's and Nurse Practitioners into every day operations- Dr.Lund and Nurse Practitioners Stephanie and Lesslie. The combination assures that LH would deliver real-time diagnostics and solutions. Finally the concierge Julie is a hypersonic catalyst that ensures all facets of Liberty Heights are golden. She is the Quarren Catolyst. After neutralizing the virus our biggest challenge was to restore mobility. UCLA, John Hopkins, and Mayo Clinic provides gold standard metrics on crisis recovery. The benchmark for a 60 year old recovering from septic infection is 18 weeks. PT/OT created a miracle. Jeff coached the blocking and tackling of Gennifer,Jen and Eric to put us over the goal line in 13 weeks with enhanced mobility. Beating the standard by 30%. Two prominate infection disease doctors declared Liberty Heights exceptional performance for Richard Poffs Accut septic infection is HISTORIC on a scale rarely recorded.At 80 years young I promise Liberty Heights im not going to rest on my lorals. Certainly Liberty Heights has provided a trampoline that will spring- load the rest of my life.

This is a pleasant, friendly, place designed with seniors in mind. The units are spacious, well decorated and highly liveable. Having the garage attached is a big plus and a hallway all the way through the complex so we never have to out in the weather are deal clinchers. The sta, across the board, have the residents first“ in service, in security, and in well being. We have been here over three years and it was a great decision to move here“ when we were able to do the move, enjoy what Liberty Heights has to oer, and feel secure, comfortable, and in good company

The tour was great. I would have liked to have seen an apartment but there were none available. The renovations were very nice. I look forward to continued contact as I explore an independent living situation for myself.

Wonderful tour of a 2 bdrm patio home which is what I was interested in. Also had lunch which was OK more like I might make at home. It was a balanced meal with not too much food. Personnel interaction was excellent.

Our father had short stay at Liberty Heights prior to his passing, but during his time we were impressed both by the level of care and the kindness of the staff. We would highly recommend Liberty Heights to any family looking for such services.

David spent 30 years serving the Colorado Springs community as an oncologist, retiring in 2000. He then became Medical Director of the second Hospice in the C/S Community (Odyssey). David was transferred to Liberty Heights from the University of Colorado Anschutz hospital in Denver. He had been admitted to that hospital due to a blood stream infection. David was on extended IV antibiotic therapy and needed rehab to finish the duration of the antibiotics, in addition to physical therapy to regain strength and stability. Several facilities were contacted, and Liberty Heights accepted the referral. "The Physical Therapist, Jeff, has been just great setting me up with muscle strengthening exercises. The entire staff has been very warm and receptive to individual requests and needs. They answered the call button fairly promptly and within reasonable time. I was grateful for the fact that they comfortably and accurately tuned into my antibiotic treatment, which other local organizations were unable to do. The food was absolutely delicious ” first class ” with each meal having several dietary options to choose from.

We enjoy the convenience of, not only being close to our family but everything that is offered here on campus. We enjoy the camaraderie among the residents, the beautiful views and the physical layout of the building with everything being under one roof. We like to go walking and when the weather is bad and we can't walk outside, we can still do our walking inside the building. The most attractive benefit of Liberty Heights is that there are all levels of living on campus so that no matter what life brings us, we can stay right here.

We have visited twice while making up our minds as to where we will move next year when we sell our mountain home. We were very impressed with the facility and the independent living arrangements. We have also explored several other Colorado Springs options but this place was the best in our opinion.

My uncle was admitted to Liberty Heights. His Alzheimer's was to the point were we could not give him the best. I appreciated the way the memory care manager handled the entire family. He has been comfortable healthy during his time. We appreciate those looking our uncle. Great Job!

My Grandma is staying here while she recovers from a fall and an illness. The staff is so kind and answered all my questions. The building is a bit dated, but I would give up all the new technology if it means she gets someone who we can trust to take care of her.

Continuum of care on a beautiful hillside across from the AFA academy. See the Blue Angels overhead at graduation, and new recruits learning on gliders throughout the year. A good place for excellent and personal care - from independent living community through skilled nursing community (with the whole community being connected indoors). Smiles with quality care - love it!

Went to brunch with my aunt. Very welcoming and pretty. The food was not good. Roast was so tough, no one could eat it. Other choices mediocre. As much as residents pay, the meals could be much improved.

My two main concerns about this place is a lack of Handicap Access from the outside door on the wing were my Mother-in-law's Apartment is located. Inside the Apartment the carpet is thick making walking accross the carpet difficult. The thrush hold from the Apartment to the Hallway is uneven, because of the lighting in the hall this could be a fall hazard.

Amazing place! Love the staff and how well they keep me informed as to my mother's care. They never seem to mind when I show up to visit regardless of what time it is. And she is content and happy here. I shopped around and visited every single skilled nursing facility in Colorado Springs before settling on Liberty Heights and I'm glad I did. I know she's in the best place possible.
