My father has been in the skilled nursing facility for almost a month. We are very very pleased. The facility itself is immaculate and beautiful. The staff is VERY friendly and caring. He is walking again and returning back to himself and This makes my family jump for joy! Liz Groves made me feel so comfortable from the first moment i entered the building . She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all that IS continuing care. She has been a shoulder to cry on as well as a strong advocate for my dad. The caretaking team has been amazing. Thank you Misty for answering all of constant question and directing me with honesty and integrity. Thank you to Missy, Laurie and Amador for loving my father and engaging with him. I truly see how much you guys love your job and truly care about these patients. The activities director, Pat is simply AMAZING. My father is going out to eat with the residents!! This made my heart happy!!! On the Fourth the facility had a parade and special entertainment! Morgan, the social worker is OUTSTANDING! She picks up the phone ALWAYS and is patient and kind. Overall, Gleannloch Farms is an exceptional place! The grounds are gorgeous and everyone in smiling and inviting. I thank God we found this place for skilled nursing!!!

We are so grateful for the care our dad received at The Village at Gleannloch Farms. Over the last five years, he had several stays in the Skilled Nursing unit as his health declined. Sheldon, the director, was exceptional, and the nursing staff was consistently compassionate, attentive, and professional. The facility was always very clean and well maintained. My dad did not eat the facility's meals, so I can't comment on the food. During his final stay, which lasted about 3“4 months, the staff recommended hospice and helped us choose Heart to Heart Hospice. Erin and the entire hospice team were wonderful, guiding both our dad and our family through every aspect of the end-of-life journey with such kindness and compassion. They worked seamlessly alongside the staff at The Village at Gleannloch Farms, and together they provided outstanding care. No one wants to need skilled nursing care, but after experiencing multiple facilities over the years, we can honestly say that The Village at Gleannloch Farms is doing an excellent job. We are truly thankful for everyone who cared for my dad. A very special shout-out to Meredith, Laura, Megan, Denise and Terrence...you are truly the best of the best. Your kindness, compassion, and dedication made an incredibly difficult season so much easier for our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget the difference you made.

Original review: This place is terrible. Despite having three days advance notice, my mother ended up in a room without oxygen, without suction, without a working bed. When I requested she be given a pain pill, I was informed they don't have them. Then I was told she wasn't even in their system despite having been there for two hours. Later, the claim was that her prescriptions weren't there, and they had to get doctor approval. She's now been without pain medication for 30 hours. With a broken knee, she currently cannot get out of bed to use the bathroom and is forced to use a diaper, resulting in both a soiled diaper and bed. The medication was supposedly sent by truck and due by 18:00, yet as of 20:00 there's no sign of it. This facility is clearly not equipped to provide the care they advertise, and I absolutely will not recommend them for any reason where medical care is required. The lack of timely response is simply unacceptable to the point of negligence. I've tried to contact their administrator, twice yesterday, several times today, all with no response. Their cellular phone goes unanswered. There's no method for leaving voicemail. Clearly, the apathy is systemic in this facility. Update 6/18/26: Beginning the following Monday, the facility administrator did contact me, and has been working to correct the deficiencies described previously. His efforts have been greatly appreciated and have resulted in marked improvements in quality of care. We are cautiously optimistic that this trend will continue in the coming days and weeks, and this review will be further updated as warranted.

My mom recently stayed for three weeks in the skilled nursing unit here, and overall we had a positive experience. When she was first admitted, she was very weak and not herself after a long hospital stay. The therapy team truly worked wonders. She regained strength and improved enough to be able to come back home. There were many staff members who were genuinely kind and attentive. Whenever I brought up a concern, it was addressed quickly and handled in a professional and respectful way. I especially want to recognize Liz Groves, the admissions director. She is incredible. During a time when I felt anxious, she was such a positive light. She helped calm my nerves, was always quick to respond, and was extremely helpful throughout the process. She is truly very good at what she does. I also want to recognize Patricia Garner, who was so kind and attentive to my mom. She always had a positive attitude and a smile, and her warmth did not go unnoticed. She made a meaningful difference in my mom’s experience. I would also like to recognize Morgan, who was very helpful and compassionate during my mom’s stay. She had to ask some very personal question, which she handled with great sensitivity and kindness. I’m grateful to the team members who went above and beyond, and I appreciate the care my mom received. I would encourage families to stay involved and communicate openly, as the staff is receptive and willing to help.

The Village at Gleaanloch Farms is an excellent senior living community. My wife and I have been residents here for four and a half months now and we are so glad that we chose the Village for our new home. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. The dining staff serves up delicious and varied menus. The residents here are very friendly and easy to meet and to get to know. There are always activities going on for us to participate in, or if we prefer something less active, there is a nice library to find a good book to read. The physical location is convenient to shopping and entertainment venues when we choose to go out. Overall, the Village at Gleaanloch Farms was a wonderful choice to spend our senior years.

My mother went to the VGF SNF to recover from her cancer treatment setback. The VGF SNF was top notch for what they do. During her stay, there were some staff that were particularly special and kind with my mother. Neisha and Destiny welcomed her in on Friday afternoon and got her settled in. Andres and Victoria made sure that she was well fed and that she had all that she needed. Michelle made sure her wounds were healing properly. Laura, Anna, and Mary nursed her back to health, or at least as much as can be expected in 2 weeks. Audrie made sure that she did her exercises. Yolanda keep the place spotless, striving to keep a safe and sterile facility for the patients to heal in. And finally, Denise, not enough can be said of how caring and compassionate this lady is. Denise does it all! I wish to thank those listed for their exceptional service to my mother during her stay. Should my mother need a SNF again, this is where I would like for her to go.

After "research shopping" around almost everywhere (Houston, Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Reno, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Montana, northern Idaho, Spain (where I once lived), Portugal, Costa Rica, Panama, etc.) for over a year, I decided to move to the Village at Gleannloch Farms in Spring, TX. Living in Texas has numerous advantages for several reasons, not the least of which is world class medical care, great food, a conservative lifestyle, tax friendly, genuine hospitality, etc. Not to mention the freedom of not having to worry about the daily grind of home ownership. Every day that passes confirms I made the right decision moving into the Village at Gleannloch Farms. Since vacancies at VGF are infrequent, I'm pleased I "waitlisted" for an accommodation of choice rather than having to "settle for less" waiting for a force of circumstance. While moving is never fun, I received extraordinary assistance from the Plant Ops team, who are extremely dedicated to ensuring my new home was inviting and comfortable. At the Village, I've already met and have been welcomed by many of my new neighbors, invited to join the many unique interest groups and activities, in addition to the special events. The full service and casual restaurants serve a tasty variety of menu selections. While the other choices I researched claim to provide exceptional care in principle, it's extremely rare to find a staff that actually lives the commitment. From the Executive management to the execution level, the staff are accountable to and are recognized and rewarded for providing "extraordinary" dedication in all aspects of the care they provide. No exceptions. Frankly, the Village feels like the right home at the right moment. It's the most optimistic and excited I've felt in far too long. Rare indeed!

The recently remodeled d©cor is beautiful, warm and inviting and they offer every level of care from independent living cottages and apartments to assisted living, memory care and even skilled nursing. But the staff is what truly sets VGF apart from the rest. I want to start by recognizing the facility as a whole. The level of care shown to residents is evident throughout the campus, from the attentiveness of the staff to the overall cleanliness and upkeep. The environment feels calm, cared for, and well run, which says a lot about the standards in place day to day. I also want to acknowledge two people who clearly help set that tone. David Huffman and Lisa Arnold both stand out as respectful, attentive, and well organized leaders. What impressed me most was hearing consistent praise echoed by those who work with and report to them, which speaks volumes about the culture they help create. The community has some of the nicest curb appeal and you can see the pride they take in their community before you even park your car. I love that each floor has a weekly social hour and the cafe on the first floor. Everytime I stop by this community residents are always smiling, chatting with one another and give me the biggest and happiest smiles when I say hello. What I cannot get over is how exceptional Lori Morris and her entire sales team are. They exceed professionalism and go out of their way to treat every person in the building with respect and inclusivity. The people here did a good job with my mother. She needed a place to recover after an illness and was here for a month. Things weren't perfect but the people work very hard and are quick to address gaps. There is top down and bottom up accountability here. Very professional. They offer a few low cost, pay as you go services such as people who socialize and feed meals or a beauty shop. I'd bring my mom back here if she needed it.

The kitchen management and staff are exceptional in imagination and dedication. Highlight your entree with a wide choice of vegetables, fruit and dessert. Dining is good here and the "freshman 15" applies!

Tom came to the Village 7 months ago after a lengthy hospital stay that left his body so weak he could not sit or stand. From the first day here we felt welcomed and cared for. I was allowed to live with him and help in any way I chose to care for him. The facility is clean and bright but the true value of the Village is Dr Nguyen and Sage, Merideth the nurses and CNAs who cared for him everyday. Each time he had to return to the hospital he incurred another injury which the staff was able to heal. The wound care doctor and Haley his nurse were able to completely heal the wound he entered with when we came to The Village. Everyone looked after Tom..the activities director as well as the kitchen staff. The greatest gift was the physical therapy team that has worked each day to get him stronger. Audry made sure she came early in the morning so he was at his best..with the help of Yvette and Magda Tom is now able to sit..stand and walk. Each goal we set was attained with the help of the entire Village team. We will always be grateful for all of our prayers that have been answered through the amazing staff of The Village

I have been at Gleannloch for one year and six months. My time here has been exceptional compared to what I initially thought. The people here are very considerate and most live with the love of Jesus. The activities are as many you want to be involved with. I am the third floor representative, am the usher for the 2:00pm church service., am a director on the VGF Legacy Fund, am a member of the Village Strummers ukulele band, a table leader for Bible study. The exercise programs at VGF is super. When I came here I had trouble picking up ping pong balls from the floor and now I have no problem picking up anything from the floor due to exercise with Johnathan, chair yoga with Shannon and equalize in pool with Ann . I recommend VGF to everyone.

Lived Here since fall of 2012. Couldn’t be any happier, as the size is Wonderful. Made Incredible Friends and VGF Family. My apartment has been very nice, quiet and with few issues or problems throughout the duration. My husband came here with Parkinson’s and went directly to skilled nursing and then Memory Care Facility. Staffing and Care is Excellent and then continue to provide activities for Residents in All Areas. Food is good and weekly they offer Buffet meals for change up in dining experience. Sunday Brunches are very good and there are special events quite often such as Happy Hour, games, book club, Water Aerobics, Workout Room, Chapel, Creative Arts Room for painting and participation in Flex Your Brain, Care Groups, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pickle Ball, Shuffle Board, and putting green. Staff is super - Professional, very helpful, Willing to help and accommodate for any special requests/situations, compassionate, friendly and efficient. Great Location is Wonderful with offering anything/everything that you need in close proximity. Executive Director, and Leadership Team are very knowledgeable, effective and willing to Offer Residents a great place to live and love.

My mom spent 2 weeks here after having a partial hip replacement. I have been to many skilled nursing facilities and have never seen one as nice as Gleannloch! It is super clean with each patient having a private room and restroom. The staff are so helpful and kind. My mom said that the food was delicious and seasoned really well! She said the vegetables were really fresh and had a great flavor. She recovered quickly and without complicationsI believe it had everything to do with a great surgeon and the top notch care from the Gleannloch team! I highly recommend Gleannloch for anyone needing a skilled nursing facility. I would like to thank Meredith for helping my mom with her anxiety and having such compassion and empathy! My mom moved here 2 years ago and we chose VGF because it had everything she needed and wanted. She is in independent living in a beautiful villa. Right after she moved, a new Executive Director, Lisa Arnold, took over and she has steadily elevated a good place into a great community. She has upgraded staff, the grounds, building interiors and amenities- and the work continues. A cheerful environment with caring staff and more activities than anyone could want. We are also comforted that VGF is a continuing care community and should my mom need a higher level of care at any point, ,she can stay in her community with people and leadership that she knows. Highly recommend!

My mother was released a few days ago from the Skilled Nursing center at the Village. She had a fantastic experience over the 21 days of rehab/nursing. Liz Groves was especially impactful (awesome) during the registry and all the way thru her stay. Overall, I would recommend for any loved one.

I recently had to find a skilled nursing facility for a loved one. I’ve been down this road in the past and was dreading going through this again. It’s extremely stressful trying to find the right place within a short period of time after the hospital decides to discharge. I can honestly say from the moment I first took a tour to our skilled nursing discharge this has been by far the best skilled nursing/rehab experience my family has ever been through. The staff genuinely cares about the patients. Nursing and therapy were top notch! The entire staff was very accommodating and understanding when it came to my loved one’s needs. They even helped me through this emotional, exhausting and difficult time. I hope that we never need these services again but if we did this would be the place we choose.

Myself and Amstill Roofing recently completed the second half of a large roofing project for the entire community. While I don't have anyone currently residing here, I did want to compliment the entire staff and community at the Village at Gleannloch Farms. Both the staff and residents have been nothing but hospitable and accommodating for our crews and supervisors and communication has been nothing but top notch. Many of our requests were met with absolutely zero resistance and we were able to complete our project without a hitch! If they provide that level of service for us as a crew, I can only imagine what they do for their residents!! Keep up the great work!!!

The Village at Gleannloch Farms is, without exception, the best Senior Living Community in the North Harris County / Woodlands area. At every level, this Lifecare Plan facility is beyond excellent. Two of my loved ones have been residents of VGF since 2023. I visit the property several times weekly at various hours night and day. The entire support team continuously exhibit the highest degree of compassionate care possible. The property, the amenities and, most importantly, the personal service professionals of VGF are worthy of much more than a five star rating.

As a personal family advocate, I build lasting relationships with my clients and the teams where they reside. The Village has been exceptional through the challenges this family has faced. My client has lived here for 13 years and calls this her home! All places have bumps, but that does not define who they really are at the core. We have 24 hours care for my client now, and I have built a foundation of trust and communication with each of the ladies who take care of my client. The IHS staff and their supervisor Misty have worked effortlessly to make sure we meet all of the needs of my client daily. One of the most important factors when dealing with our seniors is consistency and familiarity. The family and I appreciate so much how the IHS supervisor Misty and the Director Lisa Arnold have worked to put this into motion. These girls love with all their hearts and provide AMAZING care in a not so easy job. The efforts and compassion these girls show for my client is a direct result of the leadership they report to. The dining room and meals are always delicious and the wait staff also is very heart warming and inviting. One lady who has stood out has been Lynn. I believe her role needs to be senior outtings and field trips advisor!! This lady always goes out of her way to come say hello, offer a big hug and find a few minutes to chat, not only with us but with EVERYONE. If my parents lived here in Texas, I would definitely advise them to call The Village at Gleanloch Farms home.

My mom has been at VGF for 12+ years. Through the years, the facility has changed ownership and administrative changes. We are extremely grateful for the administrators and staff who treat the residents as if they were their own family members. During times like weather issues, the staff moves in and stays on-site to ensure the residents are comfortable, safe, fed, and engaged with activities. Thank you, VGF!
