This Assisted Living Community has come a long way in the past year! After a rough patch where caring for my parents seemed to be a challenge that I was having to address on a weekly basis with management, the new staff and hands-on leadership have emerged as caring and comforting individuals with compassion, and as a family we have been encouraged with my mom's overall care and their attention to her daily needs. My parents have lived in this Community for over 27 years and have advanced through several layers of care through those years. Currently, there are many activities to keep her as involved as she wants to be, and she is receiving the needed therapy and motivation to allow her to enjoy this time of her life.

I didn't know it at first,but quickly realized I had been delivered into the hands of compassionate and professional care. The security and safety that embraced me was so comforting and gave me a real sense of peace and serenity. My healing, recovery and rehabilitation was greatly influenced by the kindness from Mark,Joel,Sheila and Digna, and everyone. I greatly appreciated the warmth extended to me from the community of residents and their welcoming and engaging hospitality and generosity. The Special Recreational Team made the brightest differences of our afternoon, it really made a difference, made us laugh and brought so much joy. The hard work that finally paid off came from the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department. A truly remarkable team that I know that without them , I would not have recovered as well as I've had. I'm very grateful to everyone who prepared and served our delicious meals. Now that I'm home, I miss the delicious and conscientiously well prepared meals. I got the best rest knowing I was checked in on every night to see if everything was ok as they wished me a good night. Thank you Scott for making sure everything was working well in my room. Thank you for keeping my linens and room fresh and clean. I felt that I was back home,safe and secure. The nurses who took care of us were especially professional, hardworking,dedicated and gentle. Had no issues here with the short term care for my dad. All of the staff were always very helpful and never hesitant to help. I love the limited number of beds available, which offers more attention to the patients. Rochelle was amazing in the entire process and giving great information and details every step of the way. There were a few interesting moments at times, but the issues were resolved and I was glad that my dad felt safe here.

Not a fan. The facilities are beautiful and shiny if you don't mind the overpowering smell of the carpet spray. But there is no heart there. My mom was there about 2 years.. i was given very little notice to find a new place when she lost her mobility and very little help with coordination from the social services. I found a nursing home with fewer facilities and less "polish" but she was much happier. Views and silk flowers cannot make up for warmth and caring in the long run ..it felt like a greedy organization ..my impression is the staff are miserable by extension and so do their job efficiently but not with compassion. There are a few caring exceptions who do their best.

I am amazed and very happy I have moved into the WWP Tower. Helpful staff and friendly residents made my transition here smooth and comfortable. The facilities are clean and the maintenance department is very responsive to calls for help. They are always making improvements to the buildings and grounds. The view over Lake Berry is spectacular!

With pools, a gorgeous lake (many rooms have a view), an Amazing Activities Director Kayla Lopes, delicious food, kind staff, this place may be heaven on earth. This place is truly wonderful. Walkways around the perimeter offer quiet time for reflection. Bird watchers will be happy with a plethora of all types of birds on property. Highly recommended.

Came as a caregiver to care for several different clients through working with an Agency, Platinum Homecare. Facility is pleasing to the eye, staffing is inadequate at times, food is prepared on site. The Nursing Staff and the Patient Care Tech's lack much in customer service skills, tending to be rude, arrogant and sharp with those hired by family to care for loved ones. Overpriced for the amenities, name is relevant to charges, Winter Park Towers. Surprised to learn that a financial statement must be provided prior to be granted a tour.

My parents absolutely love living at Westminster Winter Park. After they settled in over 7 years ago, our whole family breathed a sigh of relief knowing theyd be cared for and looked after. The food is very good, the swimming pool is clean and inviting, and the grounds are impeccably maintained. But the real kudos go to the staff for being so friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my parents are comfortable. This, in turn, makes me feel so comfortable. (And how about that view of the lake?!)

My husband and I moved here seven years ago and are still thrilled with our decision! I am amazed that, while in my seventies, I learned new skills. I learned how to lead hundreds of residents as president of the Residents Council. I learned how to give speeches in front of a crowd. I learned how to start my own playreaders group. Im still learning new things every day. Im now 81 and feel 50! Westminster Winter Park has provided a way of life for me that keeps me young, energized and happy. Moving here has been the best present we could have ever given our adult children. They are so comforted to see us so happy and fulfilled.

My wife and I moved to Westminster Winter Park from out-of-state over 4 years ago. We love the amenities, our apartment, the staff, our neighbors, the extensive classes and the programs. We are treated like guests at a five star resort by the staff and administration. We are busy 24-7 with activities and classes, just like college. We attend continuing education classes at Rollins. Thank you Westminster Winter Park for providing such a wonderful campus for enjoyment.

Living at Westminster Winter Park for nearly five years has gone by so fast! When my husband and I moved into the new Lochberry apartments we thought we were doing so because we were aging and we wanted to be in charge of where we would spend our remaining years. Instead we found new life! After getting in shape through the physical fitness resources we walked the Camino de Santiago, have travelled whenever wherever we want, are more socially active than before, and have extra time to pursue our favorite activities: respectively writing and art for me and golf for my husband. Living at Westminster freed us from maintenance activities associated with hearth and home and provided us with more leisure time to actively enjoy our retirement, translating into actively living.

My wife and I moved to Westminster Winter Park three and a half years ago, the best move weve ever made. Active and in good health, we were a little anxious about moving to a retirement community, a place we would live the rest of our lives. Because of WWPs active wellness program we now expect to live longer, and due to the extensive range of interesting activities and fascinating people, were busier and having more fun than we did living in a condo. We have lived in the Loch Berry Apts at Westminster Winter Park for over 5 years now and have a totally different impression of the place from that presented by Dona Piza in her very negative review. We thank God daily that we are blessed to live in such a wonderful place like WWP. The management, staff, and fellow residents all make WWP a great place to spend your senior years. I dont have time now to write up all the many positives about WWP, but I could go on and on about the goodness of the place if I had the time.
