As a placement agent, I tour many senior living communities, and this one truly stands out. My client and I toured on Friday for nearly two hours, and Karen was incredibly patient and supportive as we reviewed multiple floor plans and explored options for my client’s mother. She took the time to answer every question and never made us feel rushed. After touring several other communities on Saturday, we felt compelled to come back for another look. We stopped by without an appointment just to see the common areas, but Debbie, the Activities Director, graciously spent time with us and gave us a mini tour. It was wonderful to see so many happy, engaged residents. Debbie knew everyone by name and made a point to stop and say hello to each resident. What impressed me most was that Karen and Debbie rearranged her afternoon to spend additional time with us and help support an urgent move for my client’s mother. That level of care and dedication is exceptional. This community offers a beautiful environment, but it’s the people who make it special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff genuinely care about residents and their families. I highly recommend this community.

I'm a fairly new resident of Acoya Troon. I visited many beautiful retirement communities prior to choosing this lovely place. knew the minute I toured that they offer everything one might want in retirement: A resort-like atmosphere with magnificent views. Interesting and friendly neighbors and a great staff. A creative chef and lovely dining room or a casual deli offer many food choices. Happy Hour with live entertainment. Movies, Games, Physical therapy, Lectures, Trivia games, Art room, Pool table, Ping-pong, Swimming, In-house beauty shop, mani-pedi....more and more. Transport available.

My husband and I have been residents at Acoya for almost two years and we have enjoyed every minute. The beautiful facility in a beautiful setting is exceptional. There are so many activities and outings that one could be out of their apartment all day. Exercise classes, seminars, games, and musical events to just name a few. My father moved into Acoya about two years ago, and I was thrilled when I was finally able to visit him. The facility is just beautiful, with tons of spaces and activities for the residents. Everyone is so friendly, and the food is good. His apartment is the perfect size, and from his window, he has gorgeous views of Pinnacle Peck. The kids and grandkids are so happy that he found this place!!!

I recently moved to Acoya Troon and I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. I am able to continue to do my crafts and sewing, even in my apartment which is cosy and spacious. I give it my highest recommendation!

I cannot rave enough about Acoya Troon, just upon first arrival I was impressed with the building and the reception desk ladies were friendly and welcoming. We did a tour of the facility and met with Karen who is an absolute doll. The amount of activities they have all day and events going on is amazing. Every resident we came across was friendly and said hello. Definitely would recommend!

As a person in my sixties, I expect to optimize my retirement, in a bright, cheerful environment, filled with activities and surrounded by smiling faces and culinary delights. Then get ready for the best of all worlds- enter into ACOYA Troon. A senior living facility, located in the vibrant community of North Scottsdale, only yards from Pinnacle Peak. The first thing I experienced upon entering through the front door was a common area with windows from floor to ceiling. That bright and cheerful mood pervaded after meeting staff there to serve your beck and call and striving to make every resident (and visitor) to feel esteemed and welcomed. The views were spectacular from twenty-two hundred feet but especially more beautiful at night with views of the city lights. After I took a tour through a modern apartment home with balcony (more spacious and definitely more than just efficient) I snuck off and found myself on one of the multi-level floors bumping into a smiling resident ( nice to see people happy) and occasional staff. I came upon a room filled with art. I discovered that several residents had painted and sculpted each piece and encouraged by ACOYA to express their creative side. As for the food-if the food I tasted is their everyday fare, watch out Four Seasons. Speaking of resort-style living this was the ultimate in culinary experience. I think you can add ACOYA Troon on that list of life on earth and closer to living like Heaven,

When Acoya Troon opened in November 2020 I was the first to move into this exquisitely decorated facility sitting amongst million-dollar properties between Pinnacle Peak and Troon Mountain in northern Scottsdale. The scenery is beautiful in every direction. The neighborhood once included Pinnacle Peak Patio, Reata Pass, and Greasewood Flats, eliciting fond entertainment memories for many of us, and my current windows overlook the tops of the fabulous Four Seasons Resort. A beautiful, historical, and well-established neighborhood. After moving away for a few months, I realized the many advantages I was missing and recently returned home to Acoya. My Acoya family---staff and fellow residents---graciously welcomed me back into their busy, fun schedule of activities. Friends visiting from other facilities are amazed at the casual personal interactions between staff and residents, at the variety of opportunities for being active (both from personal interests and physical abilities perspectives), and at the high levels of participation by residents. Staff are well-trained professionally, obviously enjoy working here (low attrition rates), and all their energies are directed toward maintaining interests and participation in the activities and supporting residents’ needs. As we aging residents enjoy the physical activities, mental challenges, and camaraderie of constant peer involvement, we are also cognizant of the risks involved within the aging process. Although many here are independent residents, we all know that---regardless of our personal classification at Acoya--- if we need personal assistance, it will be available immediately. Every resident has a pendant or bracelet call button for summoning help, motion sensors are monitored to be sure we are moving within our apartments, and rigid procedures are in place whenever an emergency occurs. Well-trained concierges and caregivers work 24/7. This provides a level of security not possible in any other type of living arrangement, and Acoya has the best program I have seen anywhere.

The only thing stunning about this place is the views. Although the facility is nice senior resident do not enjoy the amenities. Such as pool, gym etc. Residents are really friendly, except when the kitchen disappoints. THE KITCHEN ALWAYS DISAPPOINTS & it’s probably the most used amenity. most are independent but all are awesome. As for the staff it’s hard to say they seem really dysfunctional. The General Manger Krista doesn’t know how to hold order at this facility I seen it with my own to eyes she acts as if she doesn’t care. But good luck & put your coins to good use
