I just want to thank the young men in memory care for doing such a great job with my mother they really cared for her as I can say the place has not been the same for the past couple of months they really had such a great amazing strong team with there cordinator, Tabitha was there, Since she has left it has went to shambles with management, But Thank God for those young men that have been truly amazing. The new ED has no clue what she is doing either does this new memory care supervisor I sure hope they can get it together the building is a beautiful place

Golden lodge is a beautiful building but management has went extremely downhill assisted living was doing a great job but since [heather] has came its horrible residents have moved out and went to Golden pond or other Assisted living Memory care was a great environment they have now lost the Memory care coordinator Tabitha she would go above and beyond I'm so saddened to see the residents just sitting in chairs not being cared for it's so sad they really need to Get Golden lodge back up and running they moved everyone off a unit due to no heat.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Golden Lodge Assisted Living. As the former director of maintenance, I can attest to the fact that they refuse to spend money to fix the HVAC system, which has been broken since last year. This forces residents to rely on space heaters or portable ACs. Since Cornerstone took over on May 17, 2024, they have had six executive directors, indicating a severe lack of stability and leadership. The building design is poor, particularly in the Memory Care unit, leading to frequent falls. One incident involved a resident falling, hitting her head, causing a brain bleed and a broken hip, neither of which were properly medicated. The care staff is severely understaffed and overworked, often leaving residents alone at night. The state has issued many tags for various issues, from administrative problems to the unresolved HVAC issue. Additionally, residents on the second floor who use wheelchairs have no means of escape in the event of a fire. I would never recommend Golden Lodge Assisted Living to my loved ones or anyone I know. I highly recommend doing thorough research before considering this place for your loved ones. Run!

Memory care has been doing a outstanding job the team back there is so strong. Jacob Noah Jahir Eli has been wonderful with my mother Tabitha is the Memory Care director and has built a very strong team with a good bond she has been very attentive and involved with the Residents and family. Crystal has also been doing extraordinary always has a smile on her face.

My experience with Golden Lodge has been nothing short of exceptional. My dad initially resided in the assisted living section, and when his physical health started to decline, the decision was made to transition him to the memory care unit. I was out of town during the weekend of the move, and the staff at Golden Lodge went above and beyond to assist my sister in seamlessly relocating my dad. The transition to memory care was handled with utmost care and professionalism. The memory care team at Golden Lodge deserves special recognition. They not only provided outstanding physical care for my dad but also took the time to truly know him. Their compassionate approach made a significant difference in his well-being, and I am deeply grateful for that. Moreover, the team at Golden Lodge became an unexpected source of support for me during some challenging times. Their guidance and understanding went beyond the call of duty, and I felt reassured knowing that my dad was in such caring hands. I can confidently say that Golden Lodge is more than a facility; it's a community of dedicated individuals who genuinely care about the well-being of their residents and their families. My heartfelt thanks to the entire memory care team for their exceptional service and unwavering support.

The Staff at Golden Lodge were very supportive and helpful. My parents initially moved into assisted living and transitioned into memory care until my fathers passing. Throughout that time I felt they were well cared for and the staff was cummunicative.

My mother was here, unfortunately she did not get enough time here. The staff was very responsive, attentive and easy to communicate with if there were concerns. I am sure all communities have something the families would like to change but they worked really hard to do things right and thats all our family could ask for.

My mother has been in memory care at Golden Lodge now for roughly 6 months. My mom is well adjusted and is doing very good. My mother has a routine and has staff members to help with all of her daily needs. The staff was incredibly helpful with the move in and answers any questions that I have about her care. I am very thankful for Golden Lodge and would definitely recommend!

Without the undivided and outstanding attention of Crystal Alderete along with the care and love she shows her patients, Golden Lodge would be Greatly understaffed through everything weather permitted she always shows up willing and eager to take care of all patients needs!

Our mother entered memory care in December 2020. She was one of the first two residents in memory care and GL was fairly new and we were coming off of Covid. Over the last 2.5 years until her passing in July 2023 she received wonderful care from the staff. The looked after our mother as if they she was their mom. The events at GL were alway fun and our mother always enjoyed them. From the top down GL has established a great team of caring individuals throughout the facility. I would highly recommend GL if you have a person in need of assisted living or memory care. Great loving people.

The memory care director, Chris Prahl has been so amazing with my step father. Her kindness and patience has made all the difference with him. Memory care is not easy, and I want her to know how thankful we are that she does her job well.

I found Golden Lodge after my mom’s hospice worker told me how Golden Lodge took in many of the displaced Marshall Fire seniors.I immediately moved my 93 year old mom in Jan, 2022 and we have been very happy ever since.No place is perfect and there is always a staff member or two who can be gruff or meal that doesn’t quite hit the spot but any issues we’ve had have been addressed and immediately corrected.The leadership team is doing a great job and they have regular meetings, care conferences and they are totally on top of vaccinations and medical care provided by Bloom Healthcare. They are also almost completely staffed and mom has improved to the point that she even “graduated” from hospice and moved from memory care to the assisted living side.

We had a bad experience at another memory care facility & were so happy when someone recommended Golden Lodge. Kim & her team are the dream team. They are so dedicated & kind & the facility is absolutely beautiful. Our family could not have been happier!

While placing a family member into memory care was an extremely hard choice for our family, we have found Golden Lodge to be exceptional. The way they care for my mother and her needs is incredible. We have been able to visit, call, and interact with her despite Covid. We are careful, follow protocol, and the staff also is diligent on making sure she is safe. She has interaction all day long and is very safe. The food is wonderful, she loves it! Thank you for taking care of my mother! We appreciate your services and compassion with her.
