It will be three years in October 2024 since our mother moved into an assisted living apartment at this wonderful facility. The professional care staff, including the nurses, med techs and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) are all very responsive, conscientious and caring. It only took a short time for our family to realize that we had nothing to be concerned about as we noted how easily they cared for our mom and how involved our mom became with the PCAs. They are not only conscientious they honestly care about mom’s comfort and well-being. At the time mom moved into her assisted living care apartment in October 2021 she only required a limited amount of extra personal care however, fast forward to September 2024 and her level of care has increased significantly, we are so thankful the Bridgewood staff hasn’t missed a beat caring for mom’s expanded needs. Recently Mom needed knee surgery, which required a stay of several days in the hospital and from there several more days recovery and physical therapy in a skilled nursing facility. I visited mom in the skilled nursing facility every day and the first thing she would say to me when I arrived was “When do I get to go home?”. Mom finally got her wish late last week and returned to her Bridgewood apartment, when I talked to her once she settled back in, she was nearly in tears telling me how glad she was to be back home with her friends including all the wonderful people that help her with everything she needs daily to make her comfortable at home. Mom has severe short term memory loss, so I was very surprised when she told me how happy she was to see Ginger and Joey, Ginger is one of the PCAs that has been with mom since she moved in and Joey is one of the med techs that brings her medications at night. Both Ginger and Joey are representative of all the Prestige at Bridgewood staff from the nurses, med techs, PCAs, maintenance, cleaning staff, management and all the other folks that help take care of our mother. Thank you all very much!

I would have rated Bridgewood a 5 except for complaints about the food… food aside I have nothing but rave reviews for the cleanliness of the facility and the attentive and caring staff. my mom is happy and that's all I care about - she genuinely likes all of the caregivers and they seem to like her too! I'm so impressed that Bridgewood is able to recruit and keep such dedicated staff who truly make a difference in the residents lives everyday! keep up the great work and my sincere thanks for making my mom a happy resident!

I did a lot of research on different Assisted Living facilities, before entrusting the care of my Father to one. I am truly thankful for the entire staff at Prestige at Bridgewood for their care and dedication to their residents. The ambiance of the facility is comfortable and it feels like home. They have events every day providing a wide selection of interactive choices for the residents. Wow! What a seemless move for my dad to Prestige at Bridgewood!! I thoroughly researched assisted living facilities and I'm so glad I picked this one! Keith Bixby was a champion at handling all the details to get my dad moved and settled in. Dad was welcomed with open arms by the entire staff! They have everything in place to make it feel like "home" the minute you arrive. It is such a relief to know he is in good, (actually great) hands at Bridgewood!

The ONLY REASON I've given them a 3 rating is because their fire alarm goes off pretty frequently, and it'll stay on for 45 minutes or an hour or longer. Other than that, my dad has been very happy there for the past year, and we've been thrilled that he is there. Everyone is super nice. I don't understand why they can't get that alarm fixed. Today one his care givers actually had to bring him to my house, because the 2 of them had been in his bathroom for over an hour, trying to get away from the loud alarm sound. Bringing him to my house isn't good, as my home is filled with stairs everywhere.

Mom was in Independent Living at Bridgewood for two years and we recently moved her to the Assisted Living section. The attention and care on both sides of the facility has been excellent. The Assisted Living staff has been great to work with, keeps us updating on how Mom is doing, and have been receptive to our observations and requests. The staff continues to communicate regularly and has truly created a partnership with us for Mom's best care. The facility is well-maintained, has a great variety of activities, and the staff has consistently been gracious and ready to help. We highly recommend Bridgewood for senior living and care.

Our mother has been at Prestige Bridgwood for over a year. She initially moved into the independent side of the facility and it quickly became apparent after a couple of ER visits that she needed more day-to-day assistance with her medications. The Bridgewood staff evaluated her needs and clearly explained the implications of moving her to the assisted side to my sister and I. After mom was moved and was receiving day-to-day medication assistance she almost immediately looked better and felt better.

My Mom moved to Bridgewood 6 years ago after a hip fracture to live closer to us. It has been a wonderful community with hard working, friendly and compassionate staff to support her. They know her by name and encourage her to participate in activities even though she is a bit of a introvert. It is a challenging transition for many people moving into assisted living from a more independent environment and getting used to someone else doing the cooking. The staff is flexible to adjust to personalized needs either in the dining room or for self care . They always would err on the the side of safety for the residents especially during the peak of the Covid pandemic and that sense of protecting their best interests still carries forward. After initially looking and investigating other choices, I am thrilled Mom is here with Stacie and the whole Bridgewood team.

Bridgewood has been a fantastic partner in providing a safe, stimulating and healthy place for my mom. We are excited that she has such a wonderful place to call home, so close to her family and right in the middle of all that Clark County has to offer. Mom has the opportunity to take advantage of the many activities Bridgewood plans or she can tailor her schedule to her individual needs. The staff at Bridgewood are extremely nice and compassionate and go out of their way to demonstrate empathetic care. It’s very comforting for me to see others interacting with my mom like she is family. We are very happy with the facility and amenities offered at Bridgewood. Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood is an incredible senior living complex. The staff is deeply invested in the care of the residents and it shows with each visit. Kindness, awareness, genuine, caring, are just a few words to describe the way we see the staff. We have had great experiences with our Dad as a resident. He looks forward to having the visits from Medical staff to Care team staff even Housekeeping staff. Keeping Dad on track throughout his day. The apartments are beautiful - spacious- well kept and maintained. You can have your pets and your scooter in your apartment. Did I mention the meals? Restaurant style- delicious well rounded meals with deserts you choose what you want, from the daily menu. Don't want to eat at specified times? Then order from their daily Bistro menu. So many delicious choices. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and included. The list is endless for activities and amenities - ( Trivia- Movies in theater - Barber- Hair Salon -wellness options and excursions you can go on. Transportation for all your needs shopping-groceries & Doctor appointments. A beautiful courtyard with bird houses - gardening and lovely seating areas. We are honestly considering moving here ourselves in our later years. To say we've been wowed is an understatement. Add Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood (55+) to your list of future living arrangements, you won't be disappointed. Thank you staff for being AMAZING!

I like to leave honest assessments and I am not one to 'slam' a place over minor infractions. This review is NOT a 'slam' either but a truthful assessment of our experience with Bridgewood. First the great: It is a very nice place. Well-appointed with nice furnishings, a cute 'theater' where Netflix are streamed, and overall very clean and homey. The place is perfect for an independent living elder or maybe an assisted living elder with excellent health. This is where the great stops. My mother was neither. She is 82 and her health can vacillate from good too poor in a matter of weeks. She doesn't need a lot of 'hand holding" but she does need awareness. She got neither at Bridgewood. For starters, during her first week she had to go to the hospital as her digestive issues acted up. We called the front desk to let them know not to deliver food to her as she was on COVID quarantine but when we went to pick up a few items for her, there were 2 days of food left on the kitchen counter. Did anyone not notice or report this? An elderly person could have vanished and food would still come? Okay, fine. Early days 'blips" if you want to call them that. Next, when she returned from the hospital stay we requested level 2 assistance was we wanted to make sure she had stand-by help to and from the dining area. Nothing. No visits other than medical management. Okay. so we peeled this back and got her a scooter. Next, her digestive issues came back and she had not eaten in a week. She had horrible diarrhea, not to get too graphic, and made a mess in the room. Did anyone notice? No. My sister discovered her withering away with her sodium and potassium levels dangerously low. How the med techs could not notice this is beyond me! Again, another hospital visit where they installed a small 'drain' nothing major, no nurse needed, and the doctor prescribed home health. I was then told by Bridgewood she could not return. This after living there six months and paying 2500 community fee. Of course, I was outraged by this and called the Executive Director and was given a blaise attitude and also told, "we don't have the staffing to help with this..." and so on. If you don't have the staffing shouldn't you only run an independent living place as this is endangering the frail elderly. I then called the ombudsman for the facility and thankfully they interceded and we were reimbursed 2000 of the community fee plus part of the 700 dollar level one care fee. On top of all of this, so far they have had TWO COVID outbreaks, though small, it is still an issue. No residents this time, and fortunately, and in a time of rampant COVID it is tough to keep everyone free, in all fairness, but there was a time when my mother was there I did see a staff member maskless. And finally, during the weekend there is minimal supervision. Once we asked for a weekend manager and were referred to the Maintenance Director! Really? Now I am sure he is a skilled man, but to leave the facility like this again is endangerment in my humble opinion. Again, no place is perfect. I get that and horror stories abound about various facilities. Bridgewood was fair in the reimbursement but I did have to leave an honest review of our experience for others researching potential facilities. Thankfully, this all happened in my mother's early days there and we were able to move her to another place where the food is great and healthy and the care extraordinary and well run by an executive director with over 25-years experience in her career. Suggest doing research and not being taken in by the sales pitch and pretty furnishings.

This has been the best decision Ive ever made for myself!! I absolutely love living here. I feel like Im living in a total life of luxury!! Bridgewood has everything Ill ever need, and I mean everything. There are all kinds of activities to do, like going to Lacamas Lake for a picnic, or downtown for lunch on the river. I also enjoy the new release movies in the theater, bean bag baseball, and games with my new cribbage partner.The employees here at Bridgewood are extra helpful and kind. Im so glad to call Bridgewood my new home!

Bridgewood has been great for my mom. Each staff member calls her by name and are very helpful no matter how many times she asks the same questions. She enjoys a healthy meal 3 times a day and the to go menu is also varied so that when she doesnt want to eat in the dining room, she can enjoy a quiet meal in her apartment.

We cannot say enough about Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood, 5 stars does not equal the experience we had. My Mom was a resident for a little over a year and due to a health setback we moved her where she would have more care. She was sad, depressed and so unhappy. We called Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood to see if there was any possibility she could come back? The response was overwhelming. They moved mountains to get her apartment ready in 2 days. This was no easy task, trust me! The cleaning and maintenance crew went into overdrive, overtime to make this happen, Keith worked tirelessly to get the paperwork and details together, the nursing staff made sure they were all set with any meds and care instructions and lastly Kayla at the front desk for receiving the many boxes of furniture and such we needed to get her set up what was now down to one day! We quickly realized the more care she really needed was to be where she felt at home with friends and familiar surroundings. We are beyond thankful for Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood and the entire staff!

Bridgewood is such a comfortable place to live, I never feel alone, and all of my neighbors are friendly, and the food is good too. One of the best things that I like about Prestige Bridgewood is that everything I need is located in one building, and when I need Assisted Living I dont have to change my address again or start over with new friends!Im proud to say that I live at Bridgewood. The food is tasty & the menu has a nice variety.More importantly the entire staff offers very personal & sincere care. My Mother in Law moved in a few months ago and was in a clinically depressed state of mind. She wouldnt leave her bed for the first two months. Since prestige staff kept encouraging her to participate and with their monitoring her medications she is like brand new. She is going on all the outings and internal activities. We recently had to move Mom into an Assisted Living facility. My wife had done a lot of research and Homework and Prestige Bridgewood was the clear first choice for our Famiy.The Facility is very nice, new amd modern. My Mom LOVES the very open and spacious Dining area. Getting around is very easy and she has a Room that overlooks the open the Court Yard in the Center of the Facility.he Staff have been nothing short of amazing. From first contact to learn about the the Facility to the day we moved Mom in and everything in between they have been so attentive, helpful and fiendly. It is apparent to us that Prestige places a high value on their employees. They are always so outgoing and friendly. Many of them have been there for 3 years or more which is not all that common in their line of work.My Mom Loves her new home and we would highly recommend Prestige Bridgewood to any family that is looking for a Great Assited Living experience.

My father (85yo) had been living in an Adult Care home with his wife(who has Alzheimers), and suddenly found himself in a position that they needed to be separated in order for her to get a higher level of care at a Skilled Nursing Facility. I suggested to Dad to look at Assisted Living Communities in the Vancouver, WA area- since he wanted to remain in the area he has lived and raised his family of 7 since 1958.After visiting,reviewing several Senior Living Communities, Dad chose Prestige Senior Living-Bridgewood because of three distinct reasons:1). The PEOPLE; both the residents and particularly the Bridgewood staff made him and continue to make him genuinely feel at home. As if he has always belonged2). The PREMISES; He loves the courtyard areas pristine layout, and quietness; the common area where many of the residents gather to join in Bible Study-Song Fests around the Grand Piano-Casino Night- and plain ol sitting around to reminisce about days of old and family. The apartments are very clean-contemporary-spacious.3). The BRIDGEWOOD STAFF; Dad was very impressed when initially meeting the staff- they not only made him feel welcomed, but truly asked poignant questions to determine what is most important to him while living amongst this new community. The one thing that concerned Dad when he first moved in to his apartment was that the AC, Heater unit seemed to be a little too noisy for his liking- so Nick (Maintenance Mgr.) checked it out and determined that Dad was right- the unit had a vibration that was causing an annoying sound, thus, Nick replaced it later that day. Listening to the resident and acting accordingly is huge for anyone-but, obviously meant the world to my father.Bridgewood is the Senior Living Community that my father will definitely enjoy for many years to come... The Year 2032- THIS IS WHERE Dad will celebrate his Centurial mark!!!

I have only lived at Bridgewoood a little over one month, but already I know that coming here was a great decision. By my second or third day, the very friendly residents were stopping me in the halls and saying youre Dick arent you? Come and eat at our table. That attitude is prevalent throughout the building whether it be a resident or a staff member.Recently I had out of town family visit me and the first thing they asked me was how do you like this place, and my enthusiastic answer was that I love this place!! It is more clean, friendlier, and both better managed and maintained than either of the two senior communities in Vancouver that I lived in previously. There are a lot of activities and they are for the most part well planned and much fun.

I have been a resident of Bridgewood for more than a year. My family and I chose Bridgewood because of its location, size, friendliness, and cleanliness of the community. There are many activities available that I enjoy, as well as bus trips around Vancouver, which helped me get acquainted to a new city.The staff has been very receptive to activity suggestions, such as additional bus trips, and our Drama Club which now puts on a play once a month. I am generally satisfied with the food services, thought at times the service can be a bit slow, which just gives me more time to socialize with my friends.Overall I am pleased with my apartment, the friendly residents and helpful staff.

Prestige Bridgewood provided outstanding care, and personal service for Dad over the past three years. It is with pleasure to write a five star review for the staff and facility at Prestige Bridgewood in Vancouver, WA. The facility is beautifully furnished, well maintained, and lovely in every area from the library to the dining room, fitness center, bistro, gardens, front lobby, throughout the entire property. More important than the facility is the staff; all of whom are professional, caring, and very personal in the care they provide to each resident on an every day basis. When the resident presses their call button, the response is immediate, and the care provided exceeds expectations on every level. As Dads level of care increased, we could count on the caregivers to meet every need, working with respect and care at all times. Friends and family who visited Dad would let us know,, your Dad is getting outstanding care at Bridgewood. This was reaffirming to my sister and I, as we lived out of state and could not be present on an every day basis. Prestige Bridgewood is a 5 Star facility in every respect. Thank you to everyone there who cared for our Dad.
