When I visited as a potential employee, I looked for certain things as a CNA. What I found made me push to be an employee. I wanted to be part of this!! I've worked at a few assisted living, and the atmosphere when I arrived brought tears of joy. As I waited, I watched the residents engaged in morning exercise, I looked at the menu options and activities calendar, and I was truly impressed. Since I've been on board, I've witnessed how truly engaged residents are, and they enjoy every activity planned!! I feel honored and blessed to be part of team caring for all these lovely individuals.

Clean, bright, joyful place with friendly helpful staff. All residents I have spoken to in my three visits enjoy Avamere, and are glad they chose it (And I've talked to half a dozen at least!). From front desk staff to those running activities, nursing, etc., all have been engaged, kind and helpful; I only wish I remembered all their names! Special shoutout to Cody who has been professional, friendly and helpful throughout our potential intake. (Have overheard "We love Cody!" in family discussions more than once.)

My father has been living at Avamere since December and we are so grateful for everything about it! The staff are so nice and helpful. The food is great. The location is very peaceful and beautiful and it is near the hospital which is also a plus. Thank you to Avamere for doing a great job with the wonderful community there! We love all the staff ... especially the director Peder, Cody and Denise! Thank you!

The staff are caring, sincere, and hard working. They do their best to provide thoughtful service. Activities often takes residents on fun outings including local lake picnics, wine tastings, and live music. The food is so good! Definetely home cooked food with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

My mother is in Avamere. I have been very pleased with the facility and the staff. Its very hard on her since my Dad died and COVIDs isolation only makes it worse. Shes in her 90s and has disabilities of that age. But the staff supports her in her daily life needs, gives her human contact with an honest and heart warming friendly and kind approach, and makes it as easy as possible for her, given the need to keep her and all the other residents safe from infection. I can meet her and visit outside knowing they will make sure she has her warmest coat on now that is winter. I can bring her presents, photos, home cooked meals, etc. and they will carry them. Im grateful as I live alone and have to work so I cant always be home to provide the support she sometimes needs.

This building was recently purchased and the changes are already apparent. When you walk in you are greeted by staff that wants to be there and patients who do too. As with any change, there are growing pains, but you can tell these changes are going to be great!

Beautiful. ..going through changes. ..our father was in need of care! our family having going through some tuff times in need of help...we decided to give Our Father a respite stay at AVERMERE...HE DIDNT want to leave his home...he went in with very grave health...its going on 3 months and he is thriving with the help of staff he is much better...and family members have been able to take care of there own health and well being...thank you so much Avamere...and a big shout out to MR JYNELL♡

I had an adult trike that needed to be moved from Avamere in Port Townsend and contacted Jynell the Executive Director at this facility...Jynell greeted me upon my arrival and immediately showed me the trike with very courteous demeanor......I informed Jynell i would have to arrange transportation arrangement due to the overall size and width of the trike and knew it would not fit in my vehicle. Jynell Immediately said i have a truck large enough to move it and could move it now thus he moved his truck close to where the trike could be loaded.......Jynell and i then moved the trike to Port Townsend Cyclery for cleaning,inspection and adjustments, tuning.........Jynell is a HUGE Asset to Avamere due to his professionalism,courteous manner and willingness to help out without hesitation!.....Appreciate Jynell!.....BIG 10 STAR RATING!.....Bob

If you are looking for a place for your loved one, put Avamere on the top of your list to check out. Ultimately we ended up not being able to move mom in because she needed much more care than they where able to provide, (24 hour). We had reserved a room for her in June with Carley who is in charge of new residents. Carley kept in constant contact with us and reassured us there was no rush to move mom in and wanted us to be completely comfortable with the situation when we did. It was disappointing that it did not work out for us, but Carley was extremely gracious about our situation. Our whole experience at Avamere was a very nice one and we would recommend it highly. Thanks Carley!!

Absolutely a dream come true!! My grandparents have lived at Seaport Landing for years and love it a lot. And recently my Mom moved there as well. She is so happy to be living in a place where the employees are friendly, kind, caring, attentive. I couldnt be happier! When the time comes, and Im the one in need of assistance, I hope that Seaport Landing will be my home as well. 🙂
