My mother was taken here for rehab. She was later taken to the hospital where she died. Her belonging left in this place's care were given to a distant cousin. I as my mom's sole heir and only child cannot recover these belongings. They include my mother's phone which is preventing me from taking care of her affairs as some of her subscriptions are only available through this phone. I am also locked out of my mom's house...now my house. I was not called, i am about to call the police. I am already at the end of my rope and to find my mom's belongings were given to someone else and i cannot get them back.

The quality of care at Solarbron depends on where you live. The independent living section of the facility--apartments where resident care is scaled to their needs--is great. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. Staff was consistently friendly, professional, and courteous. However, the assisted living section needs improvement. The facilities were run down and not clean. My father's room and clothing were far from hygienic. It was hit or miss with the staff--some were excellent and others treated working there as simply a job with little care for the residents. The assisted living section could take some lessons from the independent living section.

Just wanted to take a moment to say how thankful we are for Solarbron and their wonderful staff/team members. Our parents have each been there over the years short term for rehab. Their facility is great and the therapy team is thoughtful, caring and go above and beyond to help the residents be as comfortable as they can be and to get better as quickly as possible. Our mom is now a full time resident there in the skilled unit. Everyone from the nurses to the techs to the therapists etc have been wonderful. And each of them in this unit are just as thoughtful, caring an accommodating. Their communication with us has been wonderful which is such a blessing. Nicole and Candace were sooooo very helpful getting everything set up for mom and answered all of our questions. The questions they didn't have answers to they got back with us very quickly. It's really a good feeling when we go visit and everyone you see makes a point to speak and offer a smile, the employees and the other residents. We're thankful to have such a nice place so close to home.

My 88 year-old mother-in-law was very reluctant to leave her home of 40 years but within a month, she was comfortable and within two months, I dont think you could possibly get her to leave.The staff at the Point is excellent in every way and have done everything from helping her settle her cat in to making her feel welcome in every way. Make no mistake, this is a top notch facility -- the building, the staff, and my goodness, the food is over the top. Just like a fine restaurant, they have menu choices, tablecloths, napkins, and soft music everyday for lunch.This is an opportunity that I which my mother had in Missouri. Evansville is very lucky to have Solarbron.

My mom has been in the terrace at Solarborn and has received excellent care.. I have only had issues with one nursebut she treated my mother with respect so i cant complain.. The staff have went above and beyond to help our family out.. Solarbron has made it easier to go home at night and know she is takincare of.. Thank you to the great staff and management for all you have done for our family..

Excellent place for rehab. Love this place. My sister n law there for PT from fractured femur and hip. They are taking great care of her. Always clean, no smells!!! Beautiful facility.
