My Mother has been a resident at The Bridge at Cherry Hill for almost 4 years. The Bridge as it’s often called, is a very special place, that those fortunate enough, get to call home. Mary Ann Grace, who heads this extraordinary place, is one of the most dedicated and caring people I have ever met. The nursing and wellness staff are always there to support every resident as well as their family. When you walk into The Bridge, it is a very welcoming experience. Behind the scenes, are a compliment of staff, ranging from administrative staff, housekeepers, dietary aides and chef, activities, maintenance and hairdressing.Of course their outstanding wellness department and physical therapists. Together they work tirelessly to create a seamless experience and environment for your loved ones. But most importantly and especially significant is how they sincerely care for each and every resident, and know everything about them. It’s the feeling of a tight knit family, that is the secret sauce, as well as attention to detail that never wavers. As a family member who is the primary caretaker for my Mother, I cannot imagine a world in which they are not my partner. Lastly, I consider The Bridge my sanctuary, and safe haven.

My dad, Anthony, who is a resident there, at first was a little apprehensive about leaving the family and being on his own and without mom..Once he got to know the staff and the way they made him feel, he really enjoyed himself and started to mingle more, make friends and take part in activities .. It truly is like a family at The Bridge.. Not only to the residents but to the families of the residents.. Their doors are always open to talk about anything.. Whether a health concern or just a laugh or two about the day to day and some inside jokes that we now share..They work hard and make it look effortless.. We know how much time it takes too for all the details whether big or small.. Every season is decorated beautifully and you can feel the spirit of the holiday..They truly care about our dad and his well being which brings so much peace to our family .. The entire team at The Bridge at Cherry Hill works incredibly hard to ensure residents are very well taken care of and are offered numerous, enjoyable activities. The care team members and entire staff, including members of nursing, housekeeping , dining and the office look out for residents and cater to each and everyone’s independent needs. Also, they truly go above and beyond to welcome family members during visits and host fun events throughout the year for everyone to enjoy. I’m very happy I made the choice to move into The Bridge at Cherry Hill. Every department does an amazing job with their roles. I have never had an issue with communicating with staff, and they are very accommodating here. I especially love the activities department as Joan always keeps things exciting. We have had a wonderful experience at the Bridge. The entire staff is very caring which makes for a warm and safe environment for my mom. For someone who did not want to leave the home she and my dad built, the transition was easier than expected. Between her comfy room and the daily activities that keep my mom entertained, the Bridge at Cherry Hill was the right choice for us. Oh, and, did I mention the delicious food they serve? If I was asked to describe the staff at The Bridge in one word, it would be Family! Not only do the staff treat the residents as if they were their own family, but they treat the family of the residents as family also. They go above and beyond to take care of the residents and always with a smile. From Day 1, we knew this was the best place for mom.

Everyone at the Bridge is so accommodating and kind to the residents. It is like a family with all the staff, no matter their position, working together to provide a vibrant life for the residents. When my mother moved in and was going through an adjustment to a new environment, they went above and beyond to help mom acclimate and get her involved in all the activities and trips. They are always attentive and checking on her and doing whatever it takes to make her comfortable. My mom is enjoying every day thanks to the caring staff at the Bridge. I would recommend the Bridge to any family.

There’s no place like home.. unless you are at The Bridge at Cherry Hill! It is home for Mom now and she loves it. The staff and other folks who live there are family and friends to us all now. Caring support people, activities, great meals in a lovely dining room where many celebrations take place! The administrators are present, positive and engaged in the smallest to the biggest tasks of managing this lovely place. I am so grateful that we found the Bridge for Mom!

The Bridge is so amazing! Through the entire transitions process Michael was so comforting and accommodating. We are so happy my father-in-law went forward with the move here. The entire staff is so friendly, there is always something for the residents to do and the care provided is top notch. They are always doing events for family members to join in on, anytime you walk in you always feel like it’s home. If you are looking for an assisted living community for your loved one check out the Bridge for sure. You will NOT be disappointed.

I typically do not take the time to write reviews, but I would be remiss to not pass along the top notch experience my brother and I had with finding an assisted living facility for our mom at The Bridge at Cherry Hill in Johnston, RI. Our mom was living alone in Maryland when we realized she was in need of an assisted living facility. We started the process of looking for places in RI and Upstate NY near family. My brother called The Bridge at Cherry Hill for a meeting/tour. He met with Maryann and was extremely impressed with her, the facility, available activities, and the care team. We decided that this facility would be the ideal fit for our mom, so I reached out to the admissions/sales director Michael to get the process started. From the first phone call I knew Michael had our mom's best interest in mind. He was extremely caring and knowledgeable. That same day he put the admissions packet in the mail and followed up a few days later to ensure I received it and to see if I had any questions with filling it out. He was very responsive to any and all questions which made things very easy. I sent the completed packet back to him and we started the process to get her approved and into an apartment. Unfortunately a couple of days later our mom had a stroke. She was in a skilled nursing facility in Delaware for her recovery. The whole time she was in the hospital Michael would check in periodically to see how she was doing. He coordinated her transfer into Cherry Hill Manor Skilled Nursing Facility, so we could get her up to RI. He managed everything to the point that all I had to do was contact her case manager in Delaware to get a few forms and clinical notes sent. The process took only a couple of days. She spent a couple of weeks in the skilled nursing for rehab until she was healthy enough to transfer to The Bridge. Everything was done for us. Care team meetings, paperwork, medical insurance submissions, etc... they even found a local Primary Care Manager (which she happens to like very much) and set her up with an appointment. The move-in went well and she is enjoying the food (and yes, she can be picky), activities, and other residents. The facility is great and the staff have been very responsive to her needs. We know she will do very well there. Some may think this is all just standard customer service, but everyone has gone well above and beyond our expectations and we could not be more pleased. In addition to Michael and Maryann, I want to mention Amy, the Resident Coordinator, Audrey her nurse, Carolyn her PT, and Sadie the Concierge for their extra assistance as well. We are so happy that we found such a good place for our mom where the staff are so attentive and truly care about the welfare of their residents.

The bridge at Cherry Hill is an amazing place for you family member to kick back and relax and call home. The staff is friendly, and extremely caring and very quick to respond to the needs of the residents! Everything is perfect from when you call the front desk, right down to the food that is served. If you are looking for a Senior Living Community for your loved one, The Bridge at Cherry Hill is a wonderful choice. They are conveniently located in Johnston, RI, close to highways, shopping, churches and restaurants. The building is warm and inviting. It is staffed with a group of individuals who care for the building and its residents as if all were guests in their own home. The chef is very talented, and the food is delicious! The staff work hard to keep the building healthy, happy, active and the atmosphere inviting. Please make it a point to visit if you are searching for the right spot to call home. Ask for Jen Burns, take a tour... you will be glad you did!

When searching for the best place for my parents I walked into the Bridge and it felt like home. My first meeting with Mayanne Grace and Nurse Pat was informative and friendly.. and at that moment I knew it was the right place. ALL the staff are the kindest most caring people. The word RESPECT stands out. All the workers respect the residents and their families immensely. They are always there to listen and take care of the residents with genuine kindness. My family is SO grateful for the everyday care we received. Great place.

Had a great tour of the facility with Jen Burns and was able to see all the benefits they have to offer to our elderly. I also had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and selection that was served right out of there cafeteria. They had just completed renovations and the common areas and living areas were beautiful. I couldn't say enough about how pleasant their staff is and the care that this place offers. To anyone that is looking and comparing facilities, I would strongly encourage to add this to your list and speak with Jen on what they can do to help.

The Bridge treated our Dad with dignity and respect and enhanced his quality of life. He was always clean and well groomed and the staff were very kind to him. In addition, the nursing staff kept us informed at all times of our Dad's condition. I would highly recommend The Bridge as a placement for a loved one.

I've toured this facility several times through professional and networking events, and they do a tremendous job putting together a warm & engaging atmosphere for residents. Extremely pleasant staff, great social spaces, even a pool table!

After a couple of falls and trips to the hospital we finally decided my mom needed more care than we could give her at home. With my mom moving to The Bridge it's just what she needed. The outstanding STAFF is the best I have ever seen and truly care about the residents. I never have to worry about my moms meds because the Wellness staff takes care of giving them to her. They even have a Chef who prepares delicious meals and celebrates special occasions for them.........the Servers are also very kind. It's such a relief knowing that my mom doesn't have to go in her basement to do laundry because the Housekeeping staff takes care of that and also does the cleaning in her studio apartment. The Maintenance department are always available and happy to help if needed. The Activity Director keeps the residents busy with many activities and outings so they are never bored and includes everyone! My mom has also made many new friends and it's comforting to me that she's not alone just watching TV. I have to admit that it was a difficult transition for me but Maryann Grace the General Manager and Jen Burns the Sales Director helped and answered the many questions I had. Thanks again to the STAFF.......you all hold a special place in my heart for the hard work you all do! I would name you all but afraid I would leave someone out!

I live 7 hours away from my Mom at the Bridge. I have found the Executive Director, the Head of Wellness and the aides and staff to be incredibly attentive to my Mom's needs. From time to time, there have been health challenges, and they were all handled professionally with The Bridge being a wonderful advocate for my Mom. The facility is incredibly clean, which is something I appreciate, as does my Mom. I can sleep well knowing that she is there.
