My dad has been with QCOH after a recommendation from a friend. We had an urgent need to get my dad somewhere quickly. We lucked out finding QCOH. Nidahl, the manager of the facility, is outstanding. When i text him about my dad - I get a VERY prompt response. I feel like my dad is very well taken care of at QCOH. And the majority of the staff has a genuine concern for my dad's well being. As for the facility itself - outstanding. It's a very bright, positive atmosphere. Lots of windows. NEVER smells as some assisted living places can be. I actually like visiting. Overall - Im more than pleased with our experience thus far. Areas for improvement? Not many that i can tell so far. My dad isn't over the moon about the food - but he's cooked for himself for decades - so that was kind of expected. Id like for even more activities - but QCOH is working hard to increase that area. They had a great car show just the other day which I heard was great. They have musical acts a few times a month. I can sleep at night knowing my dad is in good hands at QCOH.

Our brother Tom was a resident at Quality Care for the past year, until his recent passing. The owner, Nidhal, the administration, health care aides, and support staff were genuinely caring and supportive of both Tom and our family. They were always responsive and communicative with us about any concerns or issues we had. They provided many activities and services for the residents and the families, and the facilities and property were top notch. We looked at other facilities in the area, we found Quality Care to be the best in the area! We are happy Tom spent his final year there. You can't go wrong.

I can not say enough about Quality Care of Howell. After visiting other facilities it was a very easy decision to bring my mom here to live and be cared for. Nidhal and the staff provided exceptional care for my mother with sever dimensia. Though she did not understand what was truely going on, she never felt scared or alone. Nihal and staff were in constant communication, if there were any concerns do to health issues. When Mom was passing, Jan was with us the whole time. She was amazing, in trying to make mom as comfortable as possible and being there for my wife and I. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but Jan made it easier! To anyone looking for a place for their loved ones, that is safe, clean, affordable and most important caring, I highly recommend Quality Care of Howell. Thank you Nidhal and Jan for everything! We looked at 4 facilities before moving dad in as a resident at Quality Care of Howell. He stayed there from April 2022 until he passed away in November 2023. Initially it was an adjustment for him, but Nidhal and staff were very patient, kind and compassionate in their care. Dad was made to feel welcome and was always invited to participate in group activities for the residents (crafts, music performances, movies in the theater, etc). I think his favorite activities were the Car Show and 4th of July fireworks over the summer. He also liked it when I walked him in his wheelchair along the path behind the complex. The QCOH facility is very clean and had everything dad needed. Most of all, there was the welcoming atmosphere. When we went to see dad, we got to know the staff and some of the residents. We were definitely made to feel part of the QCOH family and shared hugs/tears with a few of the staff when dad passed. We are very satisfied with our choice of an assisted living home for dad. Looking for a care home was a learning experience and we feel so blessed to have found Nidhal and his exceptional team at Quality Care of Howell. We are forever grateful for the kindness and care they showed our dad.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, my 90 year old Dad could no longer live at home, where my sister had cared for him since April 2022. Seeing this day coming, in early October I prayerfully began my research of assisted care facilities in Livingston County, Michigan. After visiting 5 different facilities, I made an appointment to tour Quality Care of Howell (QCH) with its owner, Nidhal Ghraib. My priorities: I told Nidhal about our Christian faith and its importance in our lives, and asked if that would be accommodated at QCH? I was blessed to find out that he too is a Christian, and that he provides a chapel in his facility for pastors to come in and provide church services for the residents who would like to be able to continue going to church and practicing their faith. A blessing beyond measure that I am grateful for! From there he gave me the tour of his beautiful and very clean facility, and as we walked, I got to watch him interact with the residents there. He was/is very attentive to their needs and comfort at all times, and it became very clear to me that no need or detail is beneath him. Nidhal genuinely has a "servant's heart", and lovingly treats all his residents like his own family, and I saw this same trait in the staff I met at Quality Care of Howell, without exception! They ALL genuinely love the people in their care! That discovery was a most pleasant and deeply appreciated surprise as I toured Quality Care of Howell. Looking for an assisted living facility for a parent was new territory for me, and I was learning as I went through the process. Nidhal was the only assisted living director who asked me if my Dad was a veteran, and when I told him that Dad had been in the Air Force, he told me that the VA would most likely have benefits that could help pay for Dad's care there, that I should make an appointment with the VA to see how much Dad would qualify for, and that they would require forms to be filled out but not to worry, he would help me with mine, and quickly fill out the forms that would be required of him/his facility. If Nidhal had not told me that, I would have never known that Dad was eligible for military benefits. Right from the start, Nidhal was looking out for me and my Dad. In short order, it was easy for me to make the decision that Quality Care of Howell would become my sweet Dad's new home, and I was at peace with that decision. As I prepared for Dad's move-in date, Nidhal graciously accommodated us and our needs. During one visit, a long time business friend of ours came into the lobby, and upon us seeing each other, she asked what I was doing there. I explained, and then she told me that her FIL was a resident there, and that they absolutely LOVED everyone there and the care her FIL was receiving. She said, "If you have any questions, just call me! We love it here!!" That was another confirmation that I had made the right decision. Sadly, the morning we were to move Dad into his new room at QCH, after eating a big breakfast, Dad sat down in his big chair, and 10 minutes later, he died suddenly but peacefully, at 90 years old. There were no warning signs, so we were all in shock, needless to say. Nidhal was so gracious when I called him to let him know we would not be moving in that morning due to Dad passing away. He checked on us during the following days, he sent beautiful flowers for Dad's funeral, and was accommodating as we loaded up Dad's things out of his room. He grieved with us and for us, and was such a blessing during the heartbreaking days following Dad's passing. All this said, I hope I have painted a picture that conveys that Quality Care of Howell IS much more than an assisted living facility, it is a HOME, where its residents are loved and cared for beautifully! I hope it conveys Nidhal's heart, and the heart of the staff there. It is my opinion, that Quality Care of Howell IS the BEST place for your loved ones to be cared for!! I gladly give them 5 stars! You absolutely need to visit them to check them out.

My mom was at Quality Care in Howell Michigan for over 4 years, including years in which Covid 19 was bad. The owners/management did an exceptional job in keeping the families of loved ones informed on activities and functions at the facility. If there were medical concerns with my mom we were notified immediately. The staff was very helpful to my mom and our family during her residency. During the the later months of her life the staff and owners helped make her comfortable. Quality Care did an exceptional job of coordinating her last days with hospice. My mom was very happy with living at Quality Care over the 4 years and was particularly fond of the activities including crafts and weekly singers and entertainment. Based on my mom's care at Quality Care I strongly recommend the facility for family members needing Assisted Living.

We looked at several places for my dad in his elder years. This place is exceptional. Very new, very nice, very clean, very friendly extremely nice facility. The residents were nice. The staff was extremely nice. And the manager was exceptional. I would recommend this facility to anybody that is looking for a care facility. My dad loved the food, the service, the staff, and the fact that he had a necklace call button to call for help 24/7 was awesome.

Our family moved Mom to Quality Care this past August, and we couldn't be happier. All her meals are included, her medications are brought to her, housekeeping, entertainment. But mostly, I love the friendly staff. Everyone knows her and her special needs. I feel they motivate her to get out of her room and participate in the activities they have. She feels at home, and that is very important to me. Nidhal, the administrator, is very caring and supportive of the residents and their families. We are very satisfied with our choice of an assisted living home for Mom.

My mom was a resident at Quality Care of Howell from September 2017 until she passed away in December of 2022. When she moved in it was planned to be short term, but unfortunately it turned into a long term situation because of her condition. With all of her changes through the years the home was able to make adjustments for all of her different health needs. I have experienced many nursing home/assisted living facilities as both of my parents lived in various homes due to medical reasons over the years. I can say Quality Care of Howell has been one of the better ones for many reasons; cleanliness, security of the residents, decent food, and very friendly people. They often have activities for the residents, musicians, crafts, holiday parties, etc... Other reasons are too countless to list. Nidhal, the owner, is honest and very easy to talk to about all of your loved one's needs. He spends many hours at the facility taking care of his employees and the residents. Nidhal, and his employees were very kind and comforting during my mom's passing. I would recommend Quality Care of Howell to anyone and everyone. From my experience, I can say that your family member will be treated with kindness and respect.

My mother Marion was a resident of Quality Care of Howell for 3 years before her recent passing late October 2022. I am so very grateful to the staff who made Quality Care of Howell a real home for my mother. All the love and the genuine care that the staff showed my mother made living at Quality Care of Howell a real gift. I felt this positive warmth the first time I walked through the front door and was greeted by Nidhal the Executive Director. My mother had started to experience an increase in falling and was requiring more support with “activities of daily living.” I was devasted for her at the loss of her independence. But my very first visit to Quality Care was met with an instant welcoming energy from Nidhal. He gave us a tour and showed us apartment 19 which my mother immediately loved. It had room for all of her favorite and familiar things. We knew she could make Quality Care her new home. Quality Care of Howell’s greatest strength is its staff. From the executive director to the staff at every level my mother was overwhelmed by their genuine interest in her and support in creating a positive aging experience for her. She always received warm and loving care from staff who embraced her like family. My mother appreciated the times when staff sat down with her in her apartment to chat, when they came in to invite her to an activity, and when they would bring her a bowl of “porridge” no matter how late she slept in. Their kindness, attention to detail, follow-through, and communication with me was really outstanding. They never missed an action item or follow-up. Nidhal has truly created a warm interactive culture. I miss my mom and I miss Quality Care of Howell. The sense of loss goes beyond mom to the loss of a whole community of people and staff at Quality Care that would greet me, tell me how much they loved my mom, and who supported me in decision making on my mother’s behalf. And I just want to say this is by far the best place I have worked, super clean the staff are nice and helpful building is brand new and very cozy. My mom suffered 2 strokes and was unable to live on her own for awhile. After searching and touring other facilities in our area, Quality Care was recommended to us. Nidhal and his staff were a blessing to my sisters and I, and most importantly, to my mom. She was well-cared for and the communication from his staff to my sisters and I was top-notch. After 2 months she was able to move home, but I can honestly say I am sad that I won't be able to see Nidhal, the staff, and the other elder community members weekly anymore. I highly recommend others to look at Quality Care if you are needing care for your relative.

It is difficult to find the right words to express my gratitude, and appreciation for the level of care that is provided to each resident at Quality Care. My mother was extremely reluctant to enter assisted living. From day one Nidhal and all the care providers, created an environment of safety, kindness, support, and seemed to make it their role to know the needs of each and every resident and to provide individualize the care accordingly. We were so pleased and relieved that my mother made a surprisingly rapid adjustment and has been quite content. Many times I have had the opportunity to observe Nidhal go above and beyond what one would typically expect, in order to provide the individualize care and support that each resident requires. His goal is to help them feel secure, special and part of a larger Quality Care family. I have often felt as I visit my Mom and observe the day to day operation, that it has the feel of a large extended "family". The facility and accommodations are lovely and spacious. I have always observed an immaculate level of cleanliness. There are various amenities i.e. a nice meal program, house cleaning/laundry, library, salon, activities, holiday parties etc. A few months ago my mother fell and fractured her back. This resulted in her being in various hospital and rehabilitation settings for about 6 weeks. It was an extremely difficult time for her, and at age 93, her health seriously declined. Nidhal took personal time to visit her in the rehab facilities, understanding the seriousness of her condition. He wanted to be a familiar face, to encourage her recovery and to let her know that everyone was missing her and looking for her to return. It meant a lot to her. She eventually was able to return to Quality Care, but it still required several weeks of very slow recuperation. I will always feel grateful to Nidhal, Maria, and the folks at Quality Care, for their patience, kindness, and the encouragement they provided her, contributing to her recovery. We could not have found a more perfect fit for my Mom. If you are considering assisted living for a loved one, I would highly encourage that you visit and explore the options at Quality Care.

I had the privilege of working here contingently throughout my time in college during summer and holiday breaks. Nidhal and his parents care genuinely about the residents, families, and employees. I would highly recommend Quality Care of Howell as a place of employment or a new community for your family member. My aunt and grandma were both there for 2 years and we well taken care of. This is a wonderful community, they really do care about the residents and are very on top of their needs. The staff was always kind and spent a lot of time talking to my grandma, she has a broken back and was very rarely out of her bed. The staff and management always took the time out of their day to make her feel so special and connect with her. The facility is very safe, clean and accommodating to residents. I never had to worry when my loved ones lived there. My grandma and aunt also enjoyed the many amenities like the beauty shop and the library.My aunt also did very well there. My grandma can do well in almost any setting, but my aunt is the wild card. She is a stroke survivor and is very particular about her food, her belongings, her tv shows, toileting and her cleaning. The management was very accommodating with her even when she was extremely distraught and emotional at times. They had a way through humor and distraction to get her out of a downward spiral. I will tell you this is not easy from experience and many times I had to walk out of the room trying to calm her down, but they always jumped in and were able to be her support system.I will say over the two years there were there, at times there have been times where the staff was turning over, but even then, the owners were all hands-on deck caring for the residents. I would also add that the comment made by Lonie is regarding my grandmother. She did break both hips while at Quality Care, HOWEVER this was due to her never asking for help going to the bathroom. She is full of pride, stubbornness and does not like to ask for help - even when she should. Unfortunately, it took her two hip fractures to finally let it sink in!We miss the Quality Care family and I think your loved ones would enjoy living there as much as my family did.

I have had the privilege of working with Quality Care of Howell for nearly two years as an independent contractor. The building itself is absolutely beautiful, equipped with the most up-to-date technology, and immaculately clean. The staff are AMAZING! They genuinely care for each and every resident with the utmost dignity and respect. Ive noticed there is very little turnover with the staff, which allows residents the opportunity to establish trust and build relationships with the staff members. The director of Quality Care of Howell is nearly always present. He is very involved in the day-to-day operations of Quality Care, interacting with, and helping the residents in a way which is genuine and heartfelt. The residents seem very happy. They are very welcoming of new residents, and seem to build friendships rather quickly. It truly feels like a loving family home at Quality Care of Howell. I have worked with many different assisted living and memory care communities in multiple states, and can honestly say Quality Care of Howell stands in a league of its own. I would certainly choose Quality Care of Howell for any of my loved ones, and highly recommend you consider choosing this wonderful community as a place to call home for your family members as well.

I have had the opportunity to come in and out of this facility since they have opened as a contract worker. The owner Nidal is very hands on and is passionate about his residents here. I would love to have my mom at this place. Home cooked meals, freindly staff, and an invested owner who taylors his teams needs around your loved one. Do yourself a favor and at least tour this facility if you are in the market for that little extra care needed. Most negative reviews I have seen on here are jaded former employees. Come find out for yourself first hand, ask the residents how they like it. You will not be disappointed. Ps: youre welcome in advanced.
