I’ve tried to get my mom moved there 2 times and the last time I notified Sarah Nov. 14 2025 and Friday Dec. 19th I told them to cancel! Because they take forever to make a decision. I ask can you make the move happen soon? Oh yes but let’s drop the ball! Assistant director Brandy and Sara Boo can’t tell you like it is they drag you along with every excuse! It only takes a minute to make a call and let the family know that you have state in or who ever! They don’t return calls and they evidently don’t want residents! They don’t need residents bad enough! Back in the day filling the facility was no 1 on priority list! Leann Favero

My wife and I stopped to check it out for my FIL. What a place it is! Clean, everyone is happy, staff and residents alike. Dad has been there over a year now and doing great. Everyone, keep doing what your doing. Sarah Boo, hands down the best.

I've been here a few years now and never thought about leaving. My family lives near by for easy visiting. Really does feel like home. I don't have to do anything they really enjoy helping you. 3 meals a day, house keeping shopping and plenty of activities.

My journey began with Sarah in July. I'm glad it did. Heritage woods is wonderful. Knowing my mom is in a loving environment where she's taken care of makes our family feel more at ease. Sarah and the entire staff are sweet and caring. My mom is happy and has made many friends. This is a difficult decision to make for a loved one. If your looking for a place, I encourage you to visit. There are so many activities to do. It really feels like home. Thank you to the entire staff for your continued love and support.

I am celebrating 5 wonderful delightful months here at Heritage of Minooka. There are so many reasons why I love it here. Yes, we all miss our homes, but this is a huge relief for my family. My son kept talking about this place for the last 4 years. After 9 surgeries I realized he was right. No worries...doctors, meds, nurses, transportation, so many delightful fun activities, attentive caring CNAs, three delicious meals, housekeeping, laundry if you choose, and the staff I can't say enough about. Sarah, Jamie, Adrienne our awesome executive director Brandy, the housekeeping staff, the cooks, servers, the caring attentive nurses.. Alexa, Jen, Alyssa, our wonderful Kevin who arranges the many activities and transports many to medical appointments, shopping trips etc., weekly mass, communion. My apologies if I'm forgetting any staff, even a hairdresser, physical therapists...they all are awesome, kind, caring, concerned and treat us like family. I could go on and on but if you are looking to place a family or loved one somewhere look no further! I am eternally grateful to the entire staff here! Please come and visit and you will experience nothing but warmth. Did I mention how lovely the apartments are? And the many nice neighbors I have in our community! Thank you Heritage Woods of Minooka for making me feel so at home! °

A wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and other residents have all been friendly and so helpful. My brother heard 1 man say "If I can't be in my own home, this is the best place I could be." My brother feels the same way. I'm so happy for him!

I've lived here for 4 yrs. Lots of activities, outings, we have movie night. Every holiday is celebrated including birthdays. The staff, housekeeping, administration, everyone is so nice and caring to all of us. I'm grateful I live here.

I moved here in March 2023 and can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff is.. The CNA’s are wonderful and always ready to help in any situation with a smile. I am especially excited to be reunited with Sarah Boo our Marketing Director and Keven Gawthorp, Resident Service Coordinator. We were all together at another facility. I’m thrilled to be reunited with such great loving friends. I also would like to recognize Jaime our front desk receptionist. She is a joy and very helpful and ready to help with whatever anyone needs. i’m overall so grateful and pleased to be at Heritage Woods of Minooka.

My mother moved to Heritage Woods after it was determined she needed some assistance but still capable of some independence. Heritage Woods Minooka is the perfect living arrangement for her! She has her own apartment that she was able to furnish with her personal furniture and deco and has all the handicap accessibility and assistance by staff that he needs! The staff is friendly, welcoming, kind and cognizant of her needs, and treats her with the upmost respect. Her space is her own and she is free to come and go as she pleases with supervision, as is what is appropriate for her condition. She has met wonderful friends who she looks forward to seeing daily at meals and activities on and off Heritage Woods property. As a family we are always welcome to visit and participate in meals and activities as well and are always acknowledged with a smile by staff. The vibe is comfortable and welcoming. Privacy is respected and socializing is encouraged! As family members we feel confident in the care and assistance my mother receives at Heritage Woods Minooka and are grateful that we have a safe, clean, home-like space with caring individuals that go above and beyond to assure our mother is well taken care of with respect and dignity, as needing assistance can be a difficult transition. Highly recommended facility with a staff that is second to none with both care & communication for an all around excellent experience and lifestyle for independent and assisted-living.
