I’m incredibly disappointed in Aspen Creek Management. Caregivers are handed $5 Starbucks cards and cheap gift bags from Temu or SHEIN while management gets fancy notebooks and upgraded supplies. It’s not about the money—it’s about respect. The new call system for residents is terrible. It doesn’t notify caregivers when someone falls. We find out only by chance, and many residents are scared and frustrated. How is someone supposed to reach a wall string after a fall? Then there’s favoritism, unfair room assignments, and staff walking around like caregivers are invisible. We’re expected to print thousands of pages with a tiny printer that barely handles fifty. It’s sloppy and inefficient. When caregivers are asked to clear out a room just so someone’s relative can move in—it hurts. That corner room wasn’t “just available.” It was taken from someone who lived there for years. We deserve better: safer systems, professional staff, fair treatment, and real appreciation.

THE BEST CP/CMC

During my time at Aspen Creek Senior Living, I had the privilege of working alongside dedicated caregivers and CMCs who consistently gave their best to support our residents. It was an uplifting and meaningful experience to be part of a team so committed to compassionate care. However, I did face persistent challenges with one member of the management team—specifically the Marketing Manager, [name removed]. In my personal experience, I observed repeated incidents of unprofessional conduct that significantly impacted staff morale. She often gave misleading statements to residents regarding follow-up care, which I believe undermines the trust that’s essential in senior living environments. Many staff members made efforts to greet her with warmth, only to be ignored or met without acknowledgment. It may seem like a small gesture, but kindness and mutual respect go a long way in building a healthy team culture. I also became aware of divisive behavior and favoritism that led to tension among coworkers. Furthermore, concerns voiced by residents about food quality often seemed to be dismissed, which was discouraging since a comfortable dining experience is such an important part of residents' daily lives. These situations created a disconnect between leadership and frontline staff, who work tirelessly to meet residents’ needs. I believe every employee deserves to feel valued and supported. Aspen Creek has the potential to be a truly exceptional place for both residents and workers—but this will require a change in leadership approach. A management team grounded in integrity, empathy, and professionalism could make all the difference for the devoted caregivers who show up with heart every day.

Aspen Creek is a home away from home, when you need it the most. The staff was wonderful to work with, always taking time to answer questions. The nurses and care-givers are kind and compassionate, they knew her by name and treated her with respect and dignity. Not only is this place beautiful but the residents have fun outings and activities to attend. Also, this is the cleanest facility I have ever been to. My mother lived there until her passing. I highly recommend Aspen Creek.

Aspen is a wonderful place to be. They have great caregivers that they call Carepartners and amazing office staff. They are very open and easy to talk to. They have activities for the residents on the daily! The awesome activity gals really are great convincing residents to have some fun. Then they even have a memory care that is a locked unit for loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s & Dementia. The carepartners are specifically trained in taking care of loved ones with dementia and they do such an amazing job. I highly recommend Aspen if you are considering putting your loved one!

From the moment we entered the beautiful foyer and were greeted so warmly we knew we had found my mom’s new home. She unfortunately has dementia, so this has been a very difficult process. We had so many questions and concerns, but all were put to rest by the Aspen Creek team. From Kendall in administration, to Michaela running the show at the reception desk, and all the wonderful caregivers throughout the facility (I hate that word because it sounds so impersonal and institutional- the exact opposite of Aspen Creek), it’s been wonderful. Everyone knows everyone’s name! There are regular activities planned, (thank you to all the activity coordinators and helpers!) and anytime I drop in, there is always something going on. My mom keeps very busy. The staff tell me she thinks she works there! And she hasn’t let me know that she’s ready to submit her resignation, so I think all is well on her end! This is the perfect home for her, and a relief for all of us.

I’ve been in the healthcare sector for a long time and there are very few places that cater to the needs AND wants of the patrons as well as the team does here at Aspen Creek. The facility is beautiful and reminds you of a mountain lodge. The rooms are cozy and well put together. The staff superb and the cook is amazing. Really, if my memories as a kid were filled with visiting grandparents in a place like this, i would have wanted to see them all the time. Instead....their housing conditions were horrible. I don’t know how affordable Aspen is, but I do know that the leadership team, the facility, and the food are all 5-stars.

Although I do not have a family member that attends this facility, I have visited several times with my church youth group as well as my family to sing songs, play games, and interact with the tenants. I have found the staff very happy and easy to work with. The environment is very clean and inviting. The tenants have had nothing but good things to say about their caregivers and the food has exceptional quality and flavor.

I love visiting Aspen Creek. The staff are kind and friendly. The building is beautiful. The residents are happy and fun to visit with. This is my eight year old’s favorite place to visit. She often says she wishes she could move in. The residents have become her dear friends. Also, the food is amazing. My dad had a stoke a few years ago and is in Assisted Living in Idaho. I wished he could move up here and live at Aspen Creek, he would love it!

This facility is top of the line with the best amenities. It is located in a great area and is very clean, modern but traditional as well and in all the right ways. The food is AMAZING!! The chef is so good and personally serves you. Hot chocolate is made from scratch just like the rest of the food. They have a great staff system with awesome nurses. Aspen Creek also has a spa with manicures and pedicures as well as hair coloring, perming and cutting which is a plus. This facility isn’t just a location for seniors. They bring the community and people into their lives through their programs designed to help their seniors live a full and happy life. Every time I have been there the staff have been friendly and helpful.

Since my Mom moved into Aspen Creek three weeks ago (from another facility in Anchorage), she has quickly immersed herself in her new community. She has a circle of friends she shares meals with, has fun with at the various activities, and generally enjoys hanging out with daily. Aspen Creek’s ownership and senior leadership team has put together a staff who shows by both their words and actions that they truly care about their residents. I’d encourage families with seniors looking for a family atmosphere to seriously consider Aspen Creek. My family and I are thrilled with the care she is receiving there.
