The team here has been wonderful to work with. They took on my extra sassy grandmother and, instead of getting frustrated when she first moved in, they handle, d her with grace and dignity. They are mindful of the safety of the staff and clients during this time of covid. They were able to coordinate the vaccination for my gram. I can get FaceTime calls whenever Im especially missing seeing my grams face. They work with her primary care providers to make sure her meds are working correctly. My gram found a friend so shes not lonely without our visits. They are wonderful at redirection that comes with memory care. They dont believe in over medicating their extra sassy clients like my gram. This was just what I needed as I was getting burnt out with caregiving. I can finally enjoy my gram as my gram and not as someone I would caretake for. I could go on and on, but if you have questions, just reach out. Sandy spent hours (or it felt like hours) on the phone with me before we did the move to ease my mind on all the quirks that came with caretaking for my gram. I would give them 10, 5 stars if I could. Its well deserved.

My sister was admitted after the COVID outbreak so I have not had a chance to see inside the facility. The staff is most excellent as everyone has a very caring and loving attitude and my sister is well taken care of. There is a small yard area so I am able to visit my sister, with covered partitioned picnic tables to sit at. They enclosed one and installed heaters so we can visit when it is colder out. I would highly recommend the Campbell Creek House!

My loved one CJ has been Tru so many things and her last experience a stroke left her with speech difficulties and a higher state of dementia Apart from some small physical problems Shes a special person that needs care to enjoy the rest of her life Unfortunate that we have to resort to a place to literally leave them to live the life they have left but Im glad I found campbellcreekhouse Ive been searching and searching through the right place for CJ before I made up my mind for campbellcreekhouse Knowing the difficulties and the kind of personality that CJ has I was skeptical about any place for her to live out the rest of her life After long conversations with sandy and now a few months have gone by I see the care and love they provide to her The medication is on point working with Doctors and therapist etc. Sandy will take CJ to her Doctors appointments Well pretty much lets put it like this if I had to end up in a retirement place Assistant living or something Ill end up at campbellcreekhouse

Everyone working at Campbell Creek House was very kind and patient with my Nana when she lived there, even when it was difficult to help her. When she passed away, one of the people there held her hand. She was treated like family. I dont think that we could have found a better place for her.

We had to make the very painful decision to place my mother into an assisted living facility. It was never the plan for this to happen, but circumstances made it necessary.. The staff was extremely loving to my mother and our family. We were quite demanding in her care and for many weeks were in her room for 12 to 24 hours at a time. Some of the care givers were better trained than others, but all of them were truly caring. Sandy went out of her way to meet our requests. The nurses were so amazing and accommodating to my parents beliefs. When my mother passed the staff cried with us. We are all so grateful for the care and love they provided. Jennifer Block Green

The administrator of the facility, Sandy, was literally like an angel to my mom. This is a loving person with a huge heart. She sat with my mom for long periods, spoon-feeding her Ensure milkshakes. She didnt need to do that--it wasnt her job--but she couldnt help from pitching in. I will forever be grateful to her. And Sandy is like that with everybody. I saw her at another residents bedside to keep her company, reading her Bible verses and holding her hand. CCHs compassion-based approach starts at the top, and is reflected throughout the organization. The other caregivers who helped my mom were friendly, positive, patient, and hard working. My mom received hospice care at CCH, and her needs went beyond the norm, as she couldnt get up to use the restroom and had trouble eating. Whatever had to be done, the staff was there for us. We were told by staff at Providence that CCH has a good reputation. The facility is near the creak & park. The building is secure. The meals are homemade in their kitchen and are served in a timely fashion.

In the polynesian culture it is frowned upon to place elders in your family in a nursing, assisted living home. When my father could no longer walk about 3 years ago, we turned to this most difficult decision. This period of time carried with it heavy hearts and a burden of worries. We visited about 5 assisted living homes, all of which lacked a sense of love, community and comfort. Most ALH in anchorage have only about 1 or 2 staff members at a time caring after 5 or 6 residents. The ratio might be the same at campbell creek but I feel more staff is always better than less. In homes where there is only 1 staff member, only 1 or 2 residents can be out of their rooms at a time. This made other assisted living homes feel empty to us. There seemed to be less interaction with other residents and more time feeling secluded and alone. We wanted a place that would feel as close to a home as possible, where our father could make new friends and family instead of dwelling on the thought that perhaps his actual family abandoned him. Our initial tour with Sandy at the Campbell Creek house FELT like what we were looking for. She was sincere and genuinely kind, answering any and all questions including the many concerns we raised about transitioning our father to an ALH. The most telling aspect of our first visit was that Sandy took the time to listen with love. Eventually an assessment was scheduled and they were now the ones asking questions, making sure they understood every health disability, diagnosis, medication and any other important factors that would help them take the best care of him. My father spent about one year at campbell creek and has since moved out of state to another ALH. But to this day he tells stories of how well he was treated and cared for. He reflects on his memories with other residents and about his favorite games that he played including bingo. I truly feel that one should judge righteously in these situations. Not all staff are as trained as others and some may have bad days at work like we all do. Some staff members are still learning but overall, the amount of humility, patience and love that is required to care after elderly, especially those with mental and physical challenges is a daunting task. Campbell creek was not always 100% perfect all the time and if that is what youre looking for then you will be disappointed no matter where you decide to take your loved ones. But I will say that Campbell Creek House has done the best possible job in the various situations they were given regarding my fathers care. They helped us to schedule his transportation to and from dialysis, prepared meals around his renal diet, ensured his medications were delivered each week and administered them correctly, kept in constant contact with us when something urgent was needed and did so well with his dementia challenges. We place our confidence and trust in Campbell Creek and all the staff there. This place was such a blessing to us that our mother, with her own health challenges, eventually requested to stay here also. Campbell Creek looked after her with the same love they showed my father for about a month before she passed away. We highly recommend this assisted living home to anyone who is going through the same challenges we experienced. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. This facility is more of an extension of our family then anything else. Sandy, the manager, communicates with us regularly. We are always in the loop, with how my father n law is doing...She is patient, loving, humble, kind; and the list goes on. The staff is never without a smile on their face . We placed my mom in the care of Cambell Creek house and its been a true blessing. Sandy and the staff truely took care of my mom while she was there. Placing my grandmother at Campbell Creek House was the best thing I could have ever done for her. The staff there has been everything we could have ever hoped for and more. The love and care they provide for my grandmother is truly a blessing.They treat her and the rest of my family as if they were actually part of their own family. Our mom is loved and well cared for at Campbell Creek House (CCH). She moved here after an unpleasant living situation in another home. We dont have to worry about her and staff is extremely open to suggestions. We receive regular reports and are always welcome when we visit! When the weather is good the short path over the bridge is a wonderful place to watch the water and salmon when they are there. Highly recommend CCH!

When my mom was first in need of extra care I had no idea what to do. While in California I was told about Campbell Creek House. I called and they took my mom in right away. I was very grateful for that but I had no idea how grateful I would be for the next two years! They took great care of my mother. Every need she had was attended to, the food was excellent and if I needed to do anything myself, they let me know right away. This would be a dissertation if I go on. Its enough to say I recommend Campbell Creek to anyone who will or needs to, listen!

I am very pleased with the care my mom receives at Campbell Creek House. It is clean and the staff is professional, yet very loving to her. They treat her with respect and dignity; even when her dementia makes it difficult for her to communicate with them. They take extra care to make her feel wanted and useful by including her in tasks during the day, and allowing her to feel like she is still contributing in life. Sandy Vasquez, the administrator treats the residents like they are family, as do the rest of the staff we have had the pleasure to work with.
