My parents moved in nearly a year ago. The facilities are awesome, but most notably is the staff. What a great group of caring and professional talent.

My mother spent the last two years of her life at Wilkinson Woods, and we were very pleased with both the facility and the services they provided. One of the main reasons we chose Wilkinson Woods was their excellent employee retention. Over time, my mom got to know the staff and developed favorites, but I have to say that staff members were professional, kind, and truly caring. The facility is small enough that the staff was able to really get to know my mom, her preferences, and her needs. There were times when I had concerns that I planned to address with the staff, only to find that they had already anticipated and resolved the issue. They knew my mom that well. I always felt confident that she was receiving exceptional care, especially during her final days, with the support of both the staff at Wilkinson Woods and the hospice team. I am incredibly grateful for everything they did for her.

The family of Myrna H. would like to thank everyone from admin to aides to cooks to maintenance for the outstanding care extended to our mom. She was happy there, loved staff and residents alike. My mom was a resident here until her passing and loved it. The staff provides attentive and personal care. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Food services are very good and guests are allowed to participate for a fee. The facility has a variety of floor plans and many on site services. They have daily activities for residents, including a can for shopping or off site activities. They have access to medical services for resident needs. Mom enjoyed her time there and made friends with the residents and staff.

My mother moved to this amazing facility a year ago and she loves it. She truly is living her best life. Mom was having issues in her private home for quite some time and we were so lucky to find this special place. The staff is caring and treat all its residents like family. We couldn't ask for anything better.

The care my mother receives is extraordinary. My mother selected WW years ago because it was a smaller number of residents. I think that they got it just right. Wilkinson Woods has given me tremendous peace of mind, knowing that my parents are safe and very well cared for. The staff goes above and beyond every day care and really gets to know all of the residents who live there. If you would ask my parents, why they love living there, they would respond, "the caretakers! " Additionally, the whole facility has been recently renovated. Upon entry, it's bright, open and modern. Communication from the management to families is always prompt and dependable. People who work there CARE and that's important to me as a daughter whose parents live at Wilkinson Woods. Amy H

My 96yr old WWII veteran dad became a resident at Wilkinson Woods in April 2023 after living in his home for over 59yrs in Glenview Illinois. The entire staff has been welcoming and very helpful making his transition go smoothly and he his thriving. He has made a lot of friends and loves the services, events and activities available.

I wanted to post a truly heart-felt thank you to the staff of Wilkinson Woods and especially Kathy Boeck, Executive Director. She is always pleasant and is very informative regarding my mother. She answers all of my questions and returns my call in a timely manner. Wilkinson is especially lucky to have her!

If I could give six stars to Wilkinson Woods Assisted Living, I would! Wilkinson Woods is a smaller community than some of the other assisted-living residences, and it felt like family when you walked in the door. The facility might not be the newest and shiniest, but it is always clean and homey and comforting. The staff is absolutely amazing and helped accommodate individual needs and requests. My dad was somewhat introverted and liked to stay in his room a lot, so they found original ways to help him feel comfortable coming down to the common area, which he enjoyed. Wilkinson Woods offers many activities to fit all kinds of personalities. They have the standard games like bingo but also bring in speakers, musicians, they’ll have happy hours and parties and donut day and the list goes on and on. There really is something for everyone there. My dads room was much larger than the other assisted-living rooms that I toured around the area for the same price. I feel so blessed that my dad was able to live at Wilkinson Woods the last year of his life.

I am fortunate to be able to visit numerous senior communities every year as a musician who has brought nightclub-style concert performances to residents for over 25 years. When you walk in the door and see residents smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves ” then you know you’re in a community that truly understands and values the well-being of those who choose to live there. I have performed in hundreds of communities over the years and feel very fortunate to be a regular entertainer at most of the Laureate locations. Wilkinson Woods has been booking my shows for years and they are truly one of the best. Make sure they are on your list if you are in the Oconomowoc area.

The kitchen staff, Amy, is amazing. She makes phenomenal food. All of her goodies are made from scratch and absolutely to die for!!! Can't say enough good things!!
