I enjoyed working with them because I could tell that they loved their jobs and loved working with each other. They have a number of employees that have worked there for years and a number of residents that have lived there for years. I have worked with other assisted living facilities and never seen such a positive environment as this one.

Morningside House in Leesburg is a gem. Unlike many "institutional" senior care homes, Morningside is warm and inviting and the most of the staff have been there over 15 years or more. That should say something! In many of the other senior care homes, there is a substantial staff turnover rate and the residents feel it... At Morningside, the residents feel a strong connection with staff, making it a wonderfully comfortable and fun home for them. Five stars!

I just moved my 94 year old mother-in-law into Morningside House a few days ago and I am so impressed and pleased with the place & the wonderful staff! They have been so welcoming & helpful and assisted my husband & I every step of the way! My mother-in-law has already become friends with several of the residents there. The staff is so friendly & courteous and has made my mother-in-law feel at home. The atmosphere & environment is very homey & cheerful. The 1 bedroom apartment that my mother-in-law moved into is bright, clean and very "user friendly" and accomodates her & her wheelchair very well. The meals are delicious and my husband & I feel very welcome to join her for meals. I highly recommend this wondetful assisted living community for families & their loved ones. The peace of mind knowing that my mother-in-law is safe, well cared for and happy at Morningside House is beyond priceless!

I recently visited Morning Side House of Leesburg for a meeting with Marybeth, the Director of Sales and Marketing, and was immediately struck by the warmth and vibrancy of the environment. As a healthcare provider”a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist”and a neighbor to Morning Side for the past 8 years, I’ve always admired the community from a distance, and it was wonderful to finally step inside and experience it firsthand. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and homey, while also being well-maintained and thoughtfully updated. The kindness from both staff and residents creates a sense of comfort and true community. Marybeth was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and it’s clear she’s passionate about what they do. One of my favorite moments was learning about their spirited Mad Dog volleyball team”complete with a team bus that proudly displays Who Let the Dogs Out. That kind of fun energy really highlights how engaged and vibrant the residents are here. I also had the opportunity to observe staff respond quickly and compassionately to a resident in need, which spoke volumes about the level of care and attentiveness provided. Morning Side House is clearly a place where residents are not only cared for, but truly valued. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit if you’re exploring senior living options for a loved one.

From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, homey atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. The decor is tasteful and inviting, creating a cozy, comfortable environment that feels more like a family member’s home than some facility. It’s also incredibly clean and well-kept, which adds to the sense of comfort and care you can feel throughout the space. Beyond that, what I think truly sets Morningside House of Leesburg apart is the staff. Every team member I’ve encountered in my visits has been kind, genuine, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear they truly care about the residents and enjoy their work, which is something you don’t often see. Their warmth, dedication, and fun personalities create a sense of community that’s both heartwarming and reassuring. If you’re looking for a place where residents are treated like family, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff doesn’t just smile because they have to, Morningside House is the place for you or your loved ones. If they start taking reservations for the younger crowd, I might have to sign up early!

Morningside House came highly recommended by my sister-in-law, whose grandpa lived here for 13 years until he passed away at 103 years young. Mom has been here for 15 months and is thriving in the community! She’s made many friends, enjoys the many activities and has her own personal space she shares with her tonkinese cat, Sammi. The staff is professional, caring and are NOT contract employees; they are long-term direct employees and bring security and comfort to the residents. I love this community for all it provides to mom, but mostly for what it provides me from 1300 miles away: peace of mind that she’s safe, healthy and happy.

We moved my 95 year old father here to Morningside House from Florida a few months ago. Location was important--we were looking for something fairly close to our home. We also had experience with Morningside House because we had chosen it for my father-in-law several years ago. But it's the "feel" that was most important to us. There's a hominess to Morningside House that we knew would appeal to my father. Beyond that, we have been very happy with the staff at all levels. Susan and GoGo run the show but they are also very personable and make it a point to engage with the residents. Danielle at the front desk regularly holds court with the residents and is very welcoming to family and guests. Bambi and Irma and the rest of the medical staff have been wonderful about taking care of my father's health needs and keeping us informed. We are very happy with the choice.

There is transportation to grocery stores and other events for the residents. The people that work there are very friendly and knowledgeable about each resident. My step mother had been at Greenspring. Was very displeased at the service and the care she received when she was in the Rehab section for an accident. She was moved to Morningside House of Leesburg and WOW, what a difference. They took swift action when they had one positive covid test and although it was difficult for the residents to stay in their rooms, it was how they didn't have an outbreak. MORE than happy. PS> The food and activities are FAB ! Totally would recommend.
