I recently rented my apartment at the Inspirations by the River. I am very excited and eager to become part of this warm and inviting community. It checks off all the boxes. I can keep my pets. This is the big one. My pets Sadie & Leea are my babies. I don't have to cook, clean, or do my own laundry. I can walk, exercise, watch movies, play games. Participate or choose not too. My apartment is overlooking the court yard and If I need assistance I can get it. The complex is bright and inviting. I can have guests and I can arrange for transportation to medical appointment etc. I am very happy with this choice. I finally have things to look forward to since loosing my husband. The staff is friendly and caring. I already feel like I am at home. I can't express how much I appreciate that. Comfort and safety is the ultimate comfort.

As a home health therapist who works in several facilities around town, I cannot say enough good things about Inspirations @ River. Every single staff member (from management to sales to wellness director, activities director, desk staff, kitchen, housekeeping, caregivers, med techs) cares so deeply about the facility, their coworkers and most importantly, the residents. They always make me feel welcome and always go out their way to help me when needed. I know I never have to worry about my clients that reside here. They are in great hands and I am forever thankful.

I recently had a family member who moved into inspirations. He has been living there for several months and has had a great experience Ryan the executive director greeted us and made us feel comfortable in his door is always open to speak with residents. Inspirations is so much more than we could have hoped for! After an assisted living experience elsewhere, words are inadequate to describe Jim's new home. The physical property is beautiful with tasteful decor that exudes elegance. The outdoor courtyard is so large and beautifully landscaped, it feels like a park. The dining room's restauant atmosphere makes meals special daily. But, most importantly, Ryan and his staff so obviously are not just extremely efficient and knowledgeable, but caring and attentive to each residents' needs and desires. To add to Inspirations wonderful attributes, we were surprised to learn that this beautiful place is so affordable. We feel truly blessed to have found Inspirations of River Centre!

I have done many tours at Inspirations and April is very knowledgeable and accommodating. It is a wonderful assisted living community. They offer studio, suites, one bedrooms and two bedrooms. They always have incredible deals to help families with the transition to assisted living. Their community is all one level which is wonderful for residents. It is built in a circle which helps residents not feel overwhelmed or get lost. The entire community has a homey feel to it, very welcoming. They offer transportation for doctor visits, shopping and adventures! Their Life Enrichment directors always has fun and exciting activities for the residents to enjoy. The dining room is a lovely sit down, menu and wait staff experience. There is a daily menu and an always available menu. There is a darling courtyard area with outdoor seating and they even have a turtle! I currently have two clients very happily living there. I love the location, set back from the street and very quiet. All in all I would highly recommend Inspirations of River Centre and April Canez.

Me, my girlfriend, and my aunt moved my mom into Inspirations of River Centre on July 1, 2024. My mom has Alzheimer's, and getting her acclimated to a new place can be quite challenging, not to mention my mom can be very difficult to deal with. Melissa and Danielle have been amazing and wonderful to work with! They understand and know how to deal with all the challenges that a big change, like moving into a new place, can pose to a person with Alzheimer's. I live in southern California and the communication between me and the Inspirations staff has been fantastic. The facility is very clean and well kept. I know that Danielle, Melissa and their staff will take great care of my mom!

My grandmother stayed here and absolutely loved it. The meals and activities were right up her alley. She became a nicer person during her stay there and smiled far more often. Recently, I was starting the process of helping select a place for a loved one. This was the first time I was responsible for such a task and Melissa was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and explained the ins and outs of assisted living concisely and clearly. She was also friendly and extremely prompt in responding. She went out of her way to obtain the data we needed from the medical facilites in order to evaluate whether they could properly care for my family member. The high level of professionalism and care gave me so much comfort and security. Thank you so much. I would recommend Inspirations for anyone looking for a place for a loved one.

Some of our customers have family members who are residents at Elmcroft of River Center, we hear so many positive things that i feel posting a nice comment is warranted. This is one place I would look into for any of my relatives if needed.

My mother was happy at Elmcroft. What more can one ask for in the last years of someone’s life after they can no longer live independently. I looked at different facilities after she had multiple strokes, and found Elmcroft to have a compassionate staff and a clean, safe facility with good food. This type of transition can be very difficult and I was often guided by the staff who regularly helped me to understand what was happening when I experienced a new and challenging situation. My mother recently passed and even her hospice care was at Elmcroft, and was made easier for me by the staff who always took the time to speak with me and my mother. I was given a beautiful memory of her last years as a result. I am very grateful for everyone at Elmcroft, but know this is not an easy time of life, and everyone’s job there is always challenging because our healthcare system does not support these caregivers and workers with compassionate staffing ratios or a livable wage. This needs to change and I will continue to do what I can to support these invaluable workers in the future. I will always be grateful for them and the challenging work they choose to do each day.

Our family’s experience has been excellent!! Dad’s been cared for by the Exec Dir, Cheryl Kelly’s well trained staff, who are, quite honestly, filled with LOVE . From room and food service, to medical and admin services, we couldn’t be more pleased. All of the staff are articulate, kind, clear and very caring. I visited this community about a week ago and was utterly appalled by how I was treated by a member of the directing staff just for trying to gain more information about the community. I was pleasantly greeted by a fabulous young lady at the front desk who was very smiley and happy. When I asked for some information on the community she told me that she would get her manger to answer my questions. I was then greeted by a very unpleasant woman who informed me she was the bussiness manger and that she could help me with my questions. During our chat I got no further than when I had first arrived. Plenty of "I don't knows" and "uhmms" came out of this woman's mouth and the way she handled the situation was very unprofessional. She was also very unsympathetic and fake when I explained my mother's situation to her and felt as though she was not actually listening to me. After receiving a packet of information and a "half-assed" tour of the community, I left the community feeling extremely disappointed. How can anyone find a place for their loved ones when people like her are the only ones running the show? I cannot believe that she is an actual employee of this community! I was so well referred by friends and family about Elmcroft that I was extremely disappointed when I left there. People like her are the reason good communities like Elmcroft fail.

The staff at Elmcroft are the most caring people i have ever met. I really appreciate the attention and care they provide to my father. I sleep easy at night knowing he is happy, enjoying life, socializing, going out, etc. Dad hasnt lost his independence, with the support he has at Elmcroft, he has GAINED i dependence! I visit my grandpa every Sunday and the food is AWESOME! I like to be in the courtyard and watch the turtle. This place is great! If you visit, go see my grandpa, he likes everyone and is really nice. Tell him I said hi!

It's been six years now since my father moved into Elmcroft. The recent advancements they have made in the technology they have to record care services is incredible. They do not spare any expense to make sure they stay in line with all advances in senior care. Dad may not realize this but I do.

I toured multiple places for my mom but no one explained how assisted living works like the nice lady we met there! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful, i even know how we can now get financial help to afford the care mom needs. It took us too long to find Elmcroft. Save yourself the time and go there first!

Agie is an incredible Executive Director. He completely goes out of his way to ensure both his residents and staff are taken care of. Agie puts in many hours making sure the community residents are thriving, safe, healthy, happy and home! The staff at Elmcroft work very hard as well and are always pleasant and welcoming.
