Everyone I met was so professional. This Assisted Living is a caring and supportive environment. The move-in process was smooth. The room is spacious. Everyone including residents seemed happy to be there. The food smelled delicious. I think I have found the perfect home for my stepmother. Thanks to everyone for helping her make this transition!

First of all, thank you for the opportunity to share my experience(s) with the concerning the Legacy. As a pastor I get to visit the Legacy at least once per month as I perform my pastoral duties with one of your residents who's also one of our parishioners. Each of my visits have been extremely pleasant. The staff has never hesitated to go out of their way to render whatever assistance I may have needed during my visit. I've also received some of the warmest greetings from the residents that were sitting outside upon entering the facility. Thank you for the compassionate care you give to each resident.

I am Pastor Rickey, and I provide a worship service hour each 3rd Sunday for the tenants of Legacy. The Legacy is a very clean, safe, and friendly environment. I always have the most joyous of time interacting, conversating, and sharing God's Word with the tenants there. The ladies always tell me how much they enjoy the experience. And I love The Legacy of Orangeburg!

I was hoping that since my mother, who used to be out there (when it was Morningside), had passed in 2019, that ya'll had changed the ambulance pickup from coming to the front of the building to a side door. Being in full view of all the other residents, not giving the person being picked up even the semblance of any kind of privacy, not taking into consideration that seeing so many ambulances coming & going...taking away some of their friends (for those residents who are having dementia problems) can be stressful, anxious, & even tramatic; & given that covid has been transferred to several patients now (even though they are relegated to their rooms), & staff have to attend to them, I was surprised to see that all staff did not have masks on, & residents didn't have masks on outside of the dining room. The pandemic is over; but, covid, the flu, & some really nasty viruses are still here and will not be going away.

My uncle has been at The Legacy of Orangeburg for over 10 years now. And not one time has our family had one complaint or problem with the Legacy! The staff is beyond caring and always prompt in their communications with family members if only to keep us posted on how our family member is doing. I have friends who have relatives at very fancy facilities that do not receive anywhere the care or excellent treatment my uncle receives at The Legacy. I cannot begin to express my sincere gratitude to every member of the Legacy team but especially to Tina McCollum. If every facility was as caring and conscientious as The Legacy, family members like me could rest assured their loved one was in good hands around the clock. YOU ARE AMAZING and my uncle tells us all the time what great food and treatement he receives. He loves the staff I think as much as he loves our family. What a compliment to The Legacy and well deserved!!!!

My mother has really enjoys Legacy. We looked at many locations. Some communities were too small to have enough residents to interact with. Others were too large. The staff is great. There are daily activities that makes her feel very busy.

As always, the staff is friendly, and the facility is clean and very welcoming. My mother in law is well taken care of. She is happy, and she always tells us that they are so good to her. It is a blessing to know she is in good hands. So thankful for the wonderful people at The Legacy.

My mom resided at Morningside for over 3 years. I cant say thank you enough for the wonderful care and kindness your entire staff showed to her. She enjoyed all the activities and the bus trips around the area. Thank you for all you did to keep her and the other residents safe during this pandemic. I so appreciate the time and effort that Tina and Amanda put forth for me and my family to have a Zoom meeting with my 97 year old Mama on Mothers Day this year since there was no visiting allowed. Alhough she did not understand the process, it did our hearts good to just be able to see her.This time we are in has been very trying for all, especially our seniors, but Im thankful Morningside is taking the steps necessary to keep them all safe and well - although Mama misses the visits she was getting. Thank you to all the staff for what you are doing for our Mama!!

My mother has lived at Morningside of Orangeburg for 15 months. Her older sister has lived there 3 1, 2 years. Our family is very active in the Morningside Community. My sister and I visit 5 out of 7 days most weeks. I love taking kids’ groups from church to visit the residents. My kindergarten class wrote letters to residents and residents sent craft, snacks to my class. The entire staff is a credit to Morningside of Orangeburg! We know each other on a personal level. I know their names; they know mine! The programs and activities provided keep residents in direct connection with community groups who visit on a regular basis. The medical staff meets the needs of my mom in caring and respectful ways. I have never had trouble contacting the facility. They have an impeccable record for contacting my siblings and me if mom ever has a fall or other medical concern. Even the chef made a cake for the residents dessert from a family recipe my mom shared! I am thankful every day for the blessing of Morningside in Orangeburg. They have been and continue to be the best choice we could make for excellent, quality of care for my mother in this stage of her life!

Although no one wants to give up their independence and relocate to a care facility, I can truly say Morningside of Orangeburg is a gentle, easy transition which brings out the best in each of the residents..The staff seems well equipped to lovingly handle the daily challenges with ease, grace,compassion and professional guidance. The decor throughout the inside and grounds is beautiful - very cheerful and inspiring My uncle has resided there for a few years.He loves the food and enjoys the company and conversations with others within. My parents have are residents of Morningside of Orangeburg. We can not say enough good things about the quality of care and concern they receive from ALL of the staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and I have never seen a client treated with anything but respect. I am at the facility often. My mother describes her residence as a 5-Star hotel with a great little restaurant. Need I say more?? Our family is invited to activities and we have also had wonderful meals at Morningside. Residents are allowed to live their own lives. The policy is for a staff member to respond to a need within 5 minutes, but from what I have observed, responses are much quicker and needs are cheerfully met. We are happy that we chose Morningside of Orangeburg. IIf you are considering a placement for your loved one, i encourage you to arrange to visit. You will not be disappointed.

I just wanted to quickly compliment the Morningside of Orangeburg staff and facility. I conduct business there approximately twice per week. I do not believe that there has been a dull moment every time I am there. They constantly keep the residents engaged in activities. You can see a genuine level of care and concern for the residents when they interact with staff. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If I was seeking a facility that would adequately care for my family members, or if asked for a recommendation from others in this area, this is the facility that I would select!!!
