Great privacy and easily identifiable staff. Everyone is checked in at the front desk so that all persons are know as they enter. Kind staff full of smiles. Excellent coordination between nurses/LPN’s and consulted staff from Physical Therapists to Hospice Workers.

My Mom Betty was there for 10 years, 9 of which was assisted living and the last year in Long Term Care. By then she knew everyone and felt truly like her home. She even had a male admirer for a while and they had a great time together. The nursing staff was wonderful, I became very good friends with Noelle. If I had it to do all over again I would pick St Mary's ... Thank you for taking such good care of my momma.

We had some wonderful nurses (Donna and Ange), wonderful CNA’s and techs and amazing PT girls. Getting in and out to visit family is a challenge a lot of time. Nobody at front desk and nurses desks aren’t staffed to open doors. When something is happening with your family you need to have access to building.

What a bright, clean and cheerful environment. Always an attendant close at hand to answer any questions or show you around. I go to play a card game with my friend and we were given multiple choices on where to sit. We chose a lovely table by the gift shop looking out on one of their courtyards.

It smells like a nursing home. There was no water/ice dispensing machine just a cooler filled with ice and a water jug like sports teams use. This was disappointing especially being a healthcare facility in a good neighborhood.

Needing rehab following a hospital stay is the last thing anyone wants to hear they need but the team at St. Mary's makes it easier. From the moment you walk in the door you receive a warm welcome and know you're in the right place! The nurses have heart, the therapy team is outstanding, and the care transitions team does an amazing job assisting families when going home isn't possible after all.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for my grandfather to be for his rehabilitation services. Even when he was more on the stubborn side, they worked with him and pushed him to do what he needed to do. Rhonda was fabulous with my grandfather.

My daughters grandma is in ignite for rehabilitation She is doing much better and it looks like they have accommodated her needs very well. The staff is very friendly and listens to our concerns. It’s been two weeks and we have been pleased with her progress

My 10 day stay at Ignite St. Mary’s was very beneficial. When I arrived, I was unable to stand up without assistance after a complicated knee surgery. Ten days later I walked out with the use of a walker. The Physical Therapy department is exceptional, the best I have ever seen. The aides and nurses were excellent. Some that gave service above and beyond were Elana, Jeanette, Jordan, Genevive, and a sweet blonde nurse whose name I can’t recall. It was overall a great experience. I would go back again if it should become necessary. Thank you for fantastic care and physical therapy! Love you all! Well, a year later, I'm back at St. Mary's Ignite due to a fractured femur. This visit was considerably longer, almost a month. One nurse, Jessica Rice, went above and beyond to make my stay more pleasant. My room was at the end of a very long hall and it was exhausting to walk that hallway with a walker six times or more daily. She arranged for me to move much closer to the front of the hall and moved my belongings herself. The Physical Therapy Team is amazing! Amanda & Ashley are fantastic. Megan, the director of PT and OT, was the main reason I went back there. And Susan is an exceptional OT, very kind and thoughtful. Everyone on the PT/OT staff goes the extra mile.

We are so thankful for the incredible care provided at Ignite St. Mary’s. The nursing staff was compassionate and attentive, the therapy team was motivating and truly invested in recovery, and the facility was always clean and well-maintained. Communication was excellent, and we felt confident and reassured throughout the entire stay. I was on a regular visit to see my mother-in-law in the Memory Care unit at Ignite. During our visit in the common area, a disruption occurred. Val's patience, smile, kindness and understanding of her residents quickly diffused the situation while also cleaning up water that has been spilled all over the floor. Val then assisted us to get my mother-in-law back to her room and taking care of her with the utmost care and a smile. Val is a gem!

The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms for long term care are on the smaller side. My loved one liked the food, the portions were small though, and many times the trays would be missing condiments and other items needed to make the food palatable. The CNA’s were happy to go get any missing food Items. Pt and Ot were great and my loved one very much enjoyed their time with them. There were some things in the three months of the stay that needed to be addressed and Cassie was instrumental with getting things taken care of In a timely manner, she always answered her phone, unless she was in a meeting. I was told during my initial tour that they didn’t have any staff shortages as they had staff to call in PRN. They did have staff shortages at times. Family involvement is so important with any long term stay for a loved one.

I have done 2 separate stays for rehabilitation. The nurses, nurse aides, therapist, administrators, kitchen staff etc. are all top notch. I recommend Ignite to all my family and friends.

Concern that my mother has been wearing the same clothes since she arrived 3 days ago. I hear some of the nursing staff have been amazing, but I'm unsure if care protocols are being followed for hygiene and personal care. I do hope it improves. Amended: I visited the facility today, and nurse officer, Ally C., was prompt to address this issue with us, apologize that this slipped through awareness, and solved this issue right away. I left feeling much better about my mom's care.

I thought the stay was good. However there are a few people that were phenomenal. On the nursing staff, Malcome, Angelina, Ange, were just wonderful. On the P/T group, I have to say the the whole group went above and beyond to help me and I can’t say enough about them. Also specifically, in that group I personally worked with Sue and Amanda the majority of the time there and I don’t think I can say any more than they were just wonderful! The kitchen and dining room group were extremely good at their jobs and made the stay there awesome. Thank you to all of them.

My sister was recently admitted to the Blue Springs, St Mary’s facility and I went to visit her today. The structure is attractive and inside was clean and neat. It did not have an institutional vibe like many I have visited in the past. I was impressed with all the staff I experienced during my visit. Everyone seemed to be there because that is where they wanted to be. They were all cheerful, respectful and seemed to be interested in how the patients were doing. They weren’t there simply for the paycheck. I was there during lunch and tried a taste of everything my sister was served and I felt it was flavorful and restaurant quality. I left feeling my sister was in a very good place. My thanks to the St Mary’s location.

St. Mary's Ignite Facility was very polite and helpful. Myself and my daughter first called to make sure we had the correct facility her grandmother was in, then they gave us the correct address...after our Google Maps wouldnt work, we then called back and an employee gave us physical directions. After arriving at the care facility, we were warmly welcomed and shown how to do the check in system and given directions to her room. The care nurse my mother in law had was very polite, and attentive, also.

I recently spent several days at Ignite St Mary’s. medical resort for rehab following hip surgery. The staff was very caring and the facility is very nice. The food and service was great. Their therapy department is amazing. They had me walking and feeling stronger very quickly. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for rehab.

I am completely satisfied with the care my Mama receives at Ignite St. Mary's in Blue Springs. She thinks the food is delicious. Her eyesight is nearly gone so she can not read her daily menu to make selections. Each morning one of her caretakers reads the menu outloud so she can make selections. The staff members are great about allowing her to do the personal care tasks of which she is capable, while stepping in to help her when she asks for assistance allowing for limited independence and maintainence of dignity. I am positively impressed when Mama and I take a walk-about in her wheelchair. Each staff member greets her by name. She finds that practice to be quite gratifying. It makes her feel special. It is so good to hear her positive comments about the care that she gets. She loves her "shower lady". The caretakers who administer her medicine are careful to see that the meds go down the hatch and not into the folds of her clothing. She has great praise for the lady who keeps the floors clean. In short...Happy Mama=Happy Family. Thank you for your diligent care of our Mama.

The staff attending my mother were professional, compassionate and friendly. This includes the staff from nurses, therapists, aides, food and custodial personnel.
