The Sandpiper staff has been wonderful dealing with this covid pandemic. Two Directors have come and gone, luckily Tara the office manager has been able to keep things running smoothly. It's difficult to watch your loved ones grow old but at Sandpiper the staff are all so caring and friendly. My parents live in the Independent Living community of Sandpiper. They have a lovely apartment, which includes a pretty yard where they can care for plants and birds. I love the caring staff and sense of love conveyed by everyone I encounter there. Its not institutional feeling at all. We are extremely comforted as a family having our folks there.

From my personal experience, most workers at Sandpiper Courtyard do care for the residents. I think Sandpiper tries to weed out the few who do not. There have been some missteps that have been worked out and some things that are currently being worked on but overall my loved one seems very happy there. Pricing is not great but it is comparable to other Mount Pleasant facilities. The former director really tried to make visible improvements and always reiterated my concerns to staff. Looking forward to seeing how much more it improves in the future.

My father in law has been in the rehab unit at Sandpiper for two weeks now. We are very pleased with the care he is receiving. A special shout out to Kim Greene(admissions), Amanda(nursing) Katie(OT)and Lisa (PT). Thank you for taking such good care of Pete! I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of a short term rehab facility. They have exceeded our expectations.

We are so happy at Sandpiper Village. The people are wonderful, the food great and we have many things to do. They clean, cook, carry us to the Dr. , take off our trash--and the pool is wonderful! Its heated and such great exercise. We have balance classes, wine and cheese, a great chorus director, we have music concerts--- I could go on and on, come visit-- you will love it
