I was very impressed when I started looking to move my mom from assisted-living to memory care. I liked that this place was smaller where she would get more personal care. The staff seemed very friendly and the price was very good compared to other places. When we visited my moms doctor for the pre-check, he stated that he had a relative that stayed there for a couple years and absolutely loved it with no complaints whatsoever. He mentioned the staff was very nice. Later in that appointment, his nurse ended up saying the same thing that her father-in-law was there for a couple of years and gave it high marks. I have already recommended it to my neighbor who is looking for a place for her mother.

My mother in law has been at Brookdale for over a year and she has a beautiful room, very homey and comfortable. She is safe and well taken care of by a loving friendly staff. No regrets in having her reside at Brookdale.

Brookdale Monroe is a wonderful place. They accepted our Aunt after she was asked to leave her prior facility. The facility is clean and well taken care of. Her room is always clean and she enjoys most of her time there. She has memory issues and her confusion is handled lovingly by the staff.

The atmosphere at Brookdale Monroe allows our Mom to be herself in a comfortable environment where she is encouraged to be independent. The genuine compassion the staff show and safety provided gives our family peace of mind.

My grandpa spent his last 6 months of life here. When he came to live there it was under difficult circumstances and his dementia made him very argumentative. They handled it with grace, and he eventually became very comfortable and pleased being there. Although he wouldn’t remember names he’d smile when certain staff came in and would joke with them. He’d constantly tell us they take good care of me and that they’d bring him anything he wants …. During his final week there were staff who sang to him and checked on him and us daily. The staff definitely work hard and have a lot on their plates but their personalities make it all okay! Thank you for making him comfortable and happy for the end of his life!
