My grandfather lived at Maple Ridge for the last few years of his life and was well taken care of by their staff. As an Ashland resident, it was important to him to stay in town and be able to have a social life. Life Enrichment took groups to OSF plays, held social events in the building, and allowed him to hold his book club meetings in their Country Kitchen. He was easily able to transfer from independent living to assisted living and was always treated with kindness and compassion as his health declined. The care staff was great at communicating with me about his care plan and took a lot of worry off my shoulders. Maple Ridge let me use their club room to hold a memorial service with his friends after he passed. I truly felt that the employees cared about their residents and worked hard to enrich their lives. This was a special place to both of us.

We recently relocated my father from Southern California to independent living at Maple Ridge, and we couldn't be happier with the decision. He absolutely loves his apartment; it's the perfect size, with large windows that offer a beautiful view. The staff and community were incredibly welcoming and helpful from day one. It truly feels like home, and that peace of mind means so much to our family. The team at Maple Ridge really makes the community special. Ashland itself is such a charming town ” a perfect place to relocate to. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby, which makes it easy (and fun!) to pick up my dad and treat him to lunch out. He also loves the location and being so close to downtown. There are lots of activities and outings for him to enjoy, and he especially looks forward to the live piano performances. Having three freshly prepared meals a day is another big perk. We’re so grateful to have found such a warm, caring place for our dad, Maple Ridge has truly become home.

Our mom moved into Maple Ridge in 2019. She loves the staff, who make her feel like family. They truly care about the residents and work hard to create an active environment that keeps them engaged in the Ashland community, including trips to concerts, local parades, and more. In addition, they provide regular opportunities for social events and exercise activities. Most importantly, they’ve created a safe and supportive space where she continues to thrive”happily and independently. We’re so grateful to the team for making Maple Ridge a place where our mom feels supported, connected, and at home.

Witnessing Compassion in Action Every Day As someone who has been at Maple Ridge nearly every day for close for last year and a half, I can honestly say this community is something special. I’ve had the opportunity to see behind the scenes ” not just the polished tours, but the real, everyday interactions that define a place. What I see here is genuine care, consistent kindness, and a team that treats residents like family. The staff are attentive and patient, always greeting residents with a smile, knowing their preferences, routines, and personalities. It’s not just about meeting needs ” it’s about making people feel seen, valued, and respected. Whether it's a nurse offering comfort during a tough moment or the dining team remembering how someone takes their tea, the details matter here ” and they never get overlooked. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and filled with life. Residents are engaged in activities they enjoy, from live music and games to quiet moments in the garden. Families feel welcome and involved, and it's clear that leadership listens and genuinely cares about feedback. I’ve seen firsthand the difference this environment makes in the lives of its residents ” the spark in their eyes, the friendships they’ve formed, and the trust they have in those who care for them. If you’re looking for a place where people aren’t just living, but truly thriving, I can't recommend Maplr Ridge enough.

My mom was not looking forward to moving from her home of 30 years into an assisted living facility. She worried about fitting in with the residents and staff, about not liking her apartment, about being too difficult to care for, etc...but her experience at Maple Ridge was comforting and positive. Once she got moved in at Maple Ridge, she bragged that she had the best room in the facility: a room with a view of the mountains and the nicely manicured grounds, including a pond full of happy frogs. She enjoyed the caregivers and trusted and bantered with her med techs, getting to know each one, asking questions about their lives, sharing hers. She would be upset when one of her favorites moved to another floor or time slot, but then got to know a new caregiver or med tech and gained another favorite. Everyone was very responsive to her needs, whatever they were at the time. My mom was bedridden for most of her stay, but she was always invited to all the gatherings and party's. During the time when she could walk with a brace and some assistance, the caregivers would come in, help her get dressed and carefully guide her into her wheelchair so she could have lunch in the dining room. In my mom's last months on hospice, she was ill and very confused, and the staff went out of their way to help her feel comfortable and safe. Always checking in and assisting when needed. There were many times in her changing health, that hospice decided to change her meds, change schedules, change her care, and it all happened seamlessly and with grace. It was very important to me that my mom's last years were as positive and happy as possible. I felt that she got prompt, quality care every single day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you all!

My mother has been at Maple Ridge for over a year on the Independent Living floor. Maple Ridge was recommended by a friend. While my mother was at first hesitant to move to a Senior community, she has had an incredibly positive experience. The Administrative Director, Emily, the entire staff, and the community are genuinely caring and attentive. My mom has made friends, and seems happier and healthier than she did when she was living alone.

I am writing to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to Maple Ridge for making me immediately feel at home. From my first day nearly two years ago, I have felt the warm welcome by the residents and staff, especially by the administrator, Ms. Emily Eisenberger, AND EVERYONE ON HER TEAM. Each team member is kind and immensely helpful in all respects. All the nursing staff and caregivers, concierge, dining team, housekeeping, maintenance, drivers, activities, beauty salon and social enrichment are terrific. The building and the landscaping are fresh and clean, and i am grateful for our safety and pleasure living here. Maple Ridge is fun. Thank you.

My mom is incredibly happy to have chosen Maple Ridge as her place to live. It is such a relief to know that she is happy, has all the support she needs, and has a beautiful perfect apartment to reside in. Emily Eisenberger has been a dream to work with. We brought my mother in law to their facility and they we're amazing! Unfortunately because Her dementia was getting worse. We had to move her to a Memory care facility Where she was enclosed. I wish she could have stayed here at Maple Ridge! If you are looking for a facility, please change the movie. They are amazing.

I am so grateful to have found Maple Ridge as a place for my Mom to recover following a long hospitalization. In the 16 months she lived there I was continually impressed by so many members of the staff who clearly truly care about the residents, consistently going above and beyond to make their daily experiences the best possible. The women running the show at The Ridge (as we started fondly referring to it) are top notch, and I’d like to give a special nod to the head administrator, Emily Eisenberger, whom I believe is about as fantastic a person you could ever hope for in this position. My Mom found a wonderful circle of friends that she adored and would share meals and other activities with as well. I visited quite frequently as I live very close by, and would often join her and her friends in attending the many celebrations and activities...and had a lot of fun! I feel truly blessed for the time she spent there and all the love and care she received! Thank you Maple Ridge!

When it became necessary to move my mom to an assisted living facility a year ago, we were all apprehensive about the change. However, from the very first day she moved in, it has been an extremely positive experience. The entire staff at Maple Ridge have gone out of their way to make my mom feel at home and to take excellent care of her needs. From managing her medication, to helping her get dressed, the staff is always there to lend a hand. Knowing that our mom is receiving the best possible care is a huge relief for our whole family and reconfirms that we made the right choice when we selected Maple Ridge.

My mom lived at Maple Ridge for four years and loved it. She bragged regularly to me about the staff: how much they cared, how attentive they were and how grateful she was for them. My own experience with them had also been wonderful. They went beyond what I expected and communicated with intention and kindness. My mom found a community at Maple Ridge. She made girlfriends that she deeply cared about and who made her last few years of life (after my dad passed) fun, connected and filled with laughter. It was such a gift to our family. Thank you everyone at Maple Ridge!

My mom has been living in independent living at Maple Ridge for 3 years and it has been a great fit. I can honestly say that she is happy and secure there. Emily, the staff's leader, knows all the residents personally and really sets a caring tone such that there is a true spirit of community among the residents and staff. There are some remarkably interesting and accomplished residents living there, and somehow, despite the challenge with these types of things, Emily seems to find good staff to keep things humming along. The monthly birthday celebrations, field trips with Jeff and Susan, transportation to medical appointments and shopping, and visiting musicians are all highlights of the living experience for my mom. She loves the location where she can walk into Ashland or take the RVTD bus into Medford for some action before returning to the quiet and peaceful environment of home. We are so grateful to have found Maple Ridge and can rest assured that she will be able to graduate into a higher level of care if and when that is needed.

As a family, we chose Maple Ridge to care for my mom for so many reasons. The ambiance, activities, and staff are so wonderful. So accommodating and they've shown so much concern for my mom's well being. I was finally able to relax a bit knowing she was safe. Top on her list of favorite things about Maple Ridge: Monday adventure outings and author talks!

The facility is bright and clean. The rooms are just the right size with perfect amenities. The staff are friendly and kind. The rent is affordable compared to California. The downside is the food and service in the cafeteria. You can request things but you'll be lucky if you get what you ask for. The administrator position has changed three times in one year for some reason, so it's hard to make improvements, but in general we have been happy with the care here. It's a good place.

Several months back I was introduced to the Maple Ridge Senior Living in Ashland OR. I needed a place to recover for a few months after stomach cancer surgery. On the initial tour I couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the staff were. I couldn't have chosen a nicer place to stay. The staff here would come out to the parking lot to see if I needed help carrying groceries inside. They always have nice music playing in the lobby, and the restaurant has such a wide variety of dishes, (not to mention superb desserts). The tenants at Maple Ridge are so nice and I believe that comes from the staff that work here. If I ever need to be in an assisted living situation again, Maple Ridge will be my first and last stop.

I have to say, my entire experience with Maple Ridge and Emily Eisenberger in particular, has been nothing but the best. We live 450 miles away and from the very beginning when we contacted M.R. early one morning on our way through Ashland to look at rooms for our father, Emily has done nothing but gone out of her way to provide a clear picture. She arrived to work early, provided paperwork and showed us as many rooms as she could from the outside of the building because of Covid. After showing pictures to our father, he chose to move to Maple Ridge immediately. Emily answered several questions a day, provided all information we requested, and made us feel we were the only family she was working with, even though I knew she had several people ready to move in soon. She was able to retain an amazing amount of information about what we were looking for and helped us find exactly what my father wanted. Emily remembered all the personal changes Dad wanted to his room and had them all done before he moved in. Emily was able to take away all of our worries and changed a complicated situation into a calm and enjoyable one. She has personally kept me informed during the time my father was transitioning into his new lifestyle. The entire staff at Maple Ridge is outstanding, and Emily is exceptional in keeping her promises, getting back to us even when she is busy, and making us feel we've made an absolutely wonderful choice.

Maple Ridge Senior Living has truly been a Blessing for our family. After my dad lost his home in the Alameda Fires; and I lost mine as well; we struggled to find a permanent place for him. We contacted Maple Ridge and they were wonderful, kind, professional and helpful. My dad was so apprehensive going in. When we arrived for his first day; they met us with open arms. The first words he heard were, "Welcome Home". His whole demeanor changed. He loves his apartment and community. He loves his view and enjoys the meals. He even attended the Father's day celebration with us. They have given us all a time to heal. Peace. We are so grateful. Thank you to our Maple Ridge Family.

My mother's home burned to the ground this last month. She was with the Red Cross for several days as the fires kept me from Southern Oregon. When I called Maple Ridge, in quite a bit of distress, they calmly said: "Bring her here - we'll wait for you." They were so kind. And have been so good to my mom. Overnight she had not only a new, clean home, but a bunch of new friends! She is meeting new people all of the time. And Maple Ridge helped me set up her phone and other details of her life. My mind is at ease. Last time I talked to my mom, she said: "Everything is beautiful. I like it here and I want to stay." 🙂

My mother has been living here for more than 10 years. The facility changed ownership several times during this period. The quality of care went from good to fair to poor until it became Maple Ridge. What a wonderful change! My mom no longer worries about frequent staff turnaround. The staff is very attentive and has lots of fun together and with the residents which, I think, is my mom's favorite part. The meals are excellent and personal preferences are happily accommodated. Even with the COVID situation, she is quite happy living there and no longer looking for possible other locations. And the rest of her family is happy, too! Thank you so much, Maple Ridge. Your terrific care is so much appreciated!

The conditions at Maple Ridge have change for the better since my mother first moved there when it was Brookdale. At that time it felt like we were on a sinking ship. New management turned things around. I am very happy with the changes and so is my mother. If something needs fixing in my mother's room the maintenance staff takes care of it quickly and cheerfully. The food is well prepared and tasty. The nursing staff is attentive to my mom's changing needs. The management is available and eager to address concerns. The housekeeping is consistent and friendly.

My Great Aunt has lived at Brookdale for the last few years. They have their ups and downs but the new management team is top notch. The new director knows what she is doing, i am impressed with the quality of care i am seeing with my Aunt. They are all warm and friendly and my Aunt has mention that the new Chef is really good!! Today they actually had a special themed lunch everyone was really enjoying and the managers were all there having a good time too.

It's been an adventure moving mom closer to us! Brookdale Ashland (assisted living side) was over the top helpful and everyone kind to mom. Still in the honeymoon period but she is very happy with the move and her room. There are the usual caregiver staffing issues, however it seems the facility as a whole tries very hard to minimize the impact to the client. A new chef on board is turning out tasty food.., though still getting up to speed a little. It's giving mom a little extra light in her eyes!
