My grandma, Ruth, lived here for several months before she passed yesterday. I took my first visit down as I live out of the area. I was able to be by her side and spent 24 hours in and out of Skylark. The staff here is incredible. As we all walked around on the verge of tears, we were met with their kindness and warmth. Sam especially was incredibly kind. In hard moments, it’s the little things. These are good people, I loved watching them interact with the residents. They all deserve raises. Thank you for taking care of my grandma!

I MUST say, absolutely and completely impressed by Skylar, from the initial contact to get my Mom there,to learning how the staff works with myself and the paperwork, It was a breeze to get everything taken care of. I did go visit my mom for the first time on Aug 8-9 2025 and found the staff to be extremley comforting,professional and helpful.All the way to the maintenance man. The buliding looks excellent,everything is clean, seems to be plenty of things for my mom to do. Activities director is amazing and helpful. Awesome place. I recommend this place to all.

My mom has been in memory care with Skylark for about four years. She gets great care and the staff are wonderful and attentive to all of the residents in her cottage. I'd really like to commend their nurse Cindy. She has addressed any health issues immediately and reached out to my mom's care provider. She's very responsive to family concerns and immediately gets back with us. She makes all of us feel secure in the care being given. If you're considering long-term care for a parent, family member, or friend; I recommend reaching out to Skylark and taking a tour.

My mom moved to Skylark in June 2024 and had a good time there. She was happy there, liked the food, and participated in activities as much as she could. The staff was always attentive to her needs and helped her with getting dressed, bathing, medication management, maintenance, and janitorial work, and always invited her to activities. We especially liked the monthly family dinners where we could come for food and some entertainment (e.g., live music and hula dancers). My mom passed away earlier this week from an acute illness (not because of anything Skylark did). We moved her out today. The staff was very supportive and helped us move things into my truck. Mike, the maintenance man, was accommodating during this process. Overall, I was happy with my experience at Skylark and would recommend it highly.

I am a care manager and have visited Skylark and my client nearly every day since 2019. There have been many ups and downs over the years but for the past year things have been looking up all the way! The staff are careful and competent, they really care and try their very best. Lead by Tish, they have what they need and the support to do the great job they have always wanted too. The food program has improved and the food staff are very caring. I am so pleased to see this change in Skylark. It’s a pleasure to work with this great team and my client is very happy and well cared for. He will write his own review ! Thank you Skylark staff !

I placed my loved one into Skylark when I could no longer care for her at home. Her room is spacious and it is kept clean by the staff. Recently my loved one had a couple of serious medical conditions and the team at Skylark stepped up in a huge way and has been nursing my loved one back to health. My loved one enjoys the food and especially her desserts! She always tells me that if she can’t live with me, Skylark is the next best option. The staff love and care for her. Lots of improvements have been made and extremely hard efforts by staff and management to give the wonderful and unique residents the best quality of life possible. Although there’s always room for improvement, skylark is doing a wonderful job at acknowledging the issues and hard times and working hard to fix them!

My mother moved in June of 2015. The place has been sold to new owners since then. In my opinion, it has deteriorated. In the memory care cottage where my mother lives, there are seldom activities provided for the residents. They spend most of their time in the day room, just sitting there. This was not the case before. When she moved in, the food was very good. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. That has changed.The food is much more like institution food. Very disappointing. On Saturday, the room was dirty and smelled of urine. On a positive note, there are some very caring caregivers that work real hard and care about the residents.
