I placed my loved one into Skylark when I could no longer care for her at home. Her room is spacious and it is kept clean by the staff. Recently my loved one had a couple of serious medical conditions and the team at Skylark stepped up in a huge way and has been nursing my loved one back to health. My loved one enjoys the food and especially her desserts! She always tells me that if she can't live with me, Skylark is the next best option. The staff love and care for her. Thank you Tish and your wonderful staff!

I am a care manager and have visited Skylark and my client nearly every day since 2019. There have been many ups and downs over the years but for the past year things have been looking up all the way! The staff are careful and competent, they really care and try their very best. Lead by Tish, they have what they need and the support to do the great job they have always wanted too. The food program has improved and the food staff are very caring. I am so pleased to see this change in Skylark. It's a pleasure to work with this great team and my client is very happy and well cared for. He will write his own review ! Thank you Skylark staff !

Definitely the best place I've ever worked. The employees are so considerate and caring, and incredibly polite; they will stop yelling at you if you ask management to make them! The residents are lovely people and never mention how the food is brought to their rooms cold, and don't seem to mind that their medicine is not brought to them every day - a clever cost-cutting technique in terms of pharmaceuticals. Though one does wonder, where do these unused pills end up? A mystery, to be sure. The trash is always empty, the rooms are always clean, the caregivers are definitely all qualified in their fields as medically as they can be, and they have a fantastic, amazing kitchen. Don't get me started on how excellent the food is, even when frozen over. Finally, you can always count on Skylark Employees to put their best effort forward. They have even stayed until the end of their shifts in dire circumstances, and at times, have been forced to mop the floors and sanitize counters by the vicious hand of the marxist state health department. Truly, the place for mom.

Lots of improvements have been made and extremely hard efforts by staff and management to give the wonderful and unique residents the best quality of life possible. Although there's always room for improvement, skylark is doing a wonderful job at acknowledging the issues and hard times and working hard to fix them!

I got to view the amazing staff while on an outing with my friend. They were the most caring and delightful folks. The event was fabulous and so important to all that participated!

My mother moved in June of 2015. The place has been sold to new owners since then. In my opinion, it has deteriorated. In the memory care cottage where my mother lives, there are seldom activities provided for the residents. They spend most of their time in the day room, just sitting there. This was not the case before. When she moved in, the food was very good. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. That has changed.The food is much more like institution food. Very disappointing. On Saturday, the room was dirty and smelled of urine. On a positive note, there are some very caring caregivers that work real hard and care about the residents.
