If you are looking for a safe, comfortable and caring facility for yourself or loved one, tour atria on New Copeland. Everything is on one floor, several floor plans to choose from, lots of light, beautiful grounds, great meals, and a kind, friendly staff. I just can’t say enough kind words about the staff there”they know her by name and check on her if she isn’t out for her usual activities or meals. They see her, listen and talk to her. She doesn’t just go to her apartment and sit. Mother is in a new season in her life and Atria has provided an excellent environment for her to enjoy and flourish.

We see commercials about finding the perfect place for mom or dad and Atria Copeland was exactly that for our family. The staff is amazing. They give attention to our mom and I rarely visit that someone doesn’t say we love your mom The facility is clean ! And always jumping with activities, most recently the CHRISTMAS SOIRE!! Mom has so much fun and there was excitement in the air for everyone!! They went all out for the event. Mom has made so many close friends that have become like family. My mom has said if I can’t be at home there is no place I’d rather be than here.

John Porter April 24,2025 I visited several Assisted living Facilities in Tyler before making the decision of Atria Copeland as my new home . I reside in one on Atria’s Cottage’s and really enjoy being here the staff here are fantastic as well as the Administration Staff . I had some problems in my Cottage and contacted Rebecca O’Neal Atria’s Executive Director . Rebecca resolved all of my issues the following day I was impressed how quickly she resolved the issues. I highly recommend Atria Copeland for anyone that needs Assisted living for family members.

I had an incredible experience at this beautiful community! The surroundings were breathtaking, filled with lush greenery and vibrant flowers that made for a delightful atmosphere. The real highlight, though, was the amazing staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making our visit memorable. I have lived here nearly 4 years. I am happy here. The staff are great. Our chef tries to listen to the residents and works hard on our menus. It has been easy to make friends here. We have several Christian opportunities to worship. We have a regular pastor for Sun morning and a couple of Bible studies available. Our celebrate life leader also make’s available information on other religions and their special days. I love the people here. Both residents and staff. Women’s group led by Beth, we met for an afternoon filled conversation and laughter as we discussed the experiences of games played while growing up. No matter where you grew up the rules and games stayed the same. No matter if you grew up in the city or countryside. New friends became old friends through sharing our similar experiences. What is a soda jerk one may wonder? Coca cola, Ice cream, syrup, and a good mix. The server who gives you this treat known as the soda jerk. At least to some in the group who remembers those good times. This is just one of the many memories our residents shared and reminisced on from the 40’s during our group talk. I’ve lived here since the beginning of April and have enjoyed activities like this one above as well as our book club and enjoy them all.

I've toured every assisted living in the region and this one by far hands down is my favorite. Hayley and Rebecca really convinced me that this is the place for my loved ones. I've never seen so much resident engagement with activities as I have here. The dining room looked and smelled amazing when I toured at mealtime. So much better than the hamptons

My mom has been a resident at the Atria Copeland for 5 years. When we needed her to move to a different room, they bent over backwards doing everything they could to accommodate. This staff is friendly from top down. They were patient, and went above and beyond to make sure this went off smoothly. Thank you Rebecca, Roxanne, Teresa, Sylvia and Hayley. Great team. I highly recommend this facility, their personal touch and empathetic caring makes a comfortable place for my mom.

Recently made a visit to atria Copeland, the community and grounds was absolutely beautiful the ED was so welcoming and informative as well as all staff I encountered on my visit everyone introduced themselves and was willing to help in anyway. Was overall very pleased and would highly recommend Copeland to anyone looking for their loved one. Overall best facility I visited in the area.

The resident's and frontline staff are truly the glue holding things together. Do take the time to vet all of what East Texas has to offer for you and your loved one(s). Walk-in or impromptu tours provide the best opportunity to view the environment and feel of the community. We moved into the Atria on New Copeland Road in mid August 2023. My understanding is that the executive director, Rebecca O’Neal, had only been here a few months before we moved in. We moved in from another local Atria facility where the executive director was totally unresponsive to resident concerns. Not so Rebecca. The Atria New Copeland is not perfect but in the few months we’ve been here there have been changes for the better. The mocomplaints I’ve heard have been about the dining room staff not remaining present to refill coffee, water or tea or assist residents. Rebecca and Lisa Pinson, Director of Culinary Services, have addressed this and continue to address it and things are improving. Lisa has listened to suggestions to add BBQ ribs to the menu. We’re getting Dr. Pepper in place of Mr. Pibb. The dining room staff is becoming friendlier Rebecca is improving the appearance of the facility with fresh paint and new furniture in common areas. Chaka, the Activity Director, is an engaging and energetic director. She is also open to new ideas and has set up 42 games per requests. My wife and I have grown fond of the Atria staff and made friends with many residents. I’ve given an honest review. You can get a great first impression of a place and then find that you are not listened to when you have a request. That is not the case at the Atria New Copeland. Not every request is acted on But Rebecca has an open door policy and will hear you. I think you’ll like the Atria New Copeland and it’s going to get better for

I can’t thank Lisa Lewis and her staff enough for all the help in getting my mother settled into this beautiful assisted living facility at Copland. All of the employees that work for Atria Copeland are exemplary. My first encounter was with Debra, head lady in the dining room, who gave me a welcoming hug. This told me that I was moving into a very friendly and loving home. My next encounter was with Tanisha, who didn't hesitate one minute to offer to take me on tour of the premises and promised to find me if I got lost. They are all hard working people who have assorted duties, but are all willing to stop what they are doing to lend a hand. I'm sorry that I can't name one person as my favorite, as I love and admire them all and I might miss a name if I tried to list them all. I hope I have expressed how much these people mean to me.
