My 94 year old MIL has been at Bridgepoint for 11 months. She loves her place, the other residents and all the nurses and aids that come in and take care of her. They all know her and treat her like their own family. Facilities are very nice, modern and clean. Lori Mills was so helpful when we moved Lucille (MIL) in and remains friendly every time we visit. As are all the staff. I would recommend Bridgepoint to anyone looking for assisted living for their loved one.

My husband has been at Bridgepointe since April 2025 in the memory wing with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. It has been such a blessing to know he’s somewhere that I don’t have to worry about his care. His room is always neat and clean and they keep my husband cleaned up as well. There’s nowhere else I would I would want him to be for the round the clock care he needs.

I placed my husband in Bridgepointe’s Memory Care area over a year ago. The initial intake was smooth as we followed Denise and team’s guidance. I had no previous experience with this and it was a very hard decision to make. They assisted us in every step of the way. The team at Bridgepointe is caring and personable, from the front desk, housekeeping, kitchen to the patient care team. Any concerns are addressed quickly and efficiently. Everyone seems to love working there. They engage the memory care residents in activities as appropriate. I appreciate the great care he received there.

This letter is long over due, but I feel so grateful to all the fine staff at Bridgepointe. My precious husband Clint passed on Nov. 6th, and I felt so blessed that you all had helped care so tenderly and lovingly for the last 2 years. Lorri Mills coordinated all the transitioning of Clint from the hospital to Bridgepointe. I had all the confidence in the world that Lorri would steer me to the best, but never would I have dreamed that Clint would grow to love his stay the way he did. The staff were so good to him and he loved them so dearly. The room was meticulously maintained and when he fell they were there to lift him and care for him or get him to the hospital. Shantinique was like a daughter to him and made him laugh. I would highly recommend Bridgepointe to any one searching for excellence in care. It did my heart good to have the staff help Clint in this most loving of ways.

We have found Bridgepointe to be a great place for our mother ! The staff are very helpful Communicative and caring. There are many levels of care to meet the needs of each resident both on memory care and assisted living communities . My family and I are pleased with our decision to have Mom in this caring place .

Mom has been a resident of Bridgepointe for many years. We are very pleased with her care and all staff. The have loved on Mom like she is one of their own. They have taken the time to really know her and our family which says alot! There are Chapel services, daily planned activities to engage all residents, and outside community groups come in to entertain the residents. Transportation is available for those who need assistance for doctor appointments. The food is also delicious! We have been very grateful for the care Mom has recieved over the years. I have recommended Bridgepointe to anyone who has asked and will continue to do so!

My Mom moved to the assisted living wing at Bridgepointe in late December 2024. She is 93 years old and previously lived for 7 years in an independent living facility. We were referred to Bridgepointe by one of my wife's friends whose Mother-in-law still resides there. It has been the best decision I have made for Mom. It was time for her to move to assisted living as she was requiring more assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, medicine and other difficulties we encounter as we grow older. Mom's apartment has plenty of room, and Bridgepointe has an excellent staff that takes excellent care of my Mom. They check on her frequently and help her with all the items I listed above. In addition, the staff walks Mom to the dining room for the majority of her meals. I no longer feel that I need to check on my Mom every single day, which takes an enormous amount of stress off me. I am constantly thanking the staff for the excellent care they give my Mom, and will every so often bring donuts, cookies, etc to the staff to show my appreciation. My Mom constantly tells me that she loves living at the Bridgepointe. I have been very pleased with the housekeeping, cafeteria, laundry, nursing and other departments. Housekeeping keeps my Mom's apartment and the Bridgepointe facility very clean. Laundry does a great job. Nursing does a great job of alerting me of any issues with Mom and handling the administration of all her medicines, thereby taking that responsibility off me. As far as I am concerned, the cafeteria offers very good meals (especially compared to where my Mom previously resided). To all those who have family or friends at Bridgepointe, please engage and talk to both the staff and the residents. You will find that the staff truly cares about the residents, respects them and tries to do what is in the best interest for them. And by talking with other residents, it helps them socially and it will help you. They are very interesting individuals with some amazing life experiences to tell. Let's not ignore them, even though you may not be there specifically to see them. I ask that you remember that no place is going to please 100% of the people 100% of the time. So please be patient, respectful and considerate of the Bridgepointe staff. They go to great lengths to provide the residents with the care they need.

If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity and cared for with love, Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods is the place to look. My Mom has been a resident there for an extended period of time now and she has always been treated with kindness by staff who are well trained and caring. And, the apartments are very roomy, making it easy to arrange an at-home atmosphere with the resident’s own belongings. I looked at a number of other places, and nothing else I saw even came close. If your loved one is unable to live on their own, Bridgepointe is the place for them!

I looked at many, many facilities in the area before choosing Bridgepointe to care for my mother. In the year she has been in care there I am assured each and every day that I made the right decision. Every staff member is so well trained and treats each and every resident with care and compassionate kindness, attending their every need. From the moment one steps through the front door the special bond, not only with the residents, but between staff members as well is palpable. It is evident that each and every staff member truly cares about the residents. A true family atmosphere.

The entire staff is absolutely awesome at Bridgepointe. I rate them a"10" out of 5!! YES a "10" out of 5!!! Ronica/Brandi are professional, knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Talking to them is like talking to "FAMILY"!!! Our Brother who is normally a loner loves living at Bridgepointe. He talks and smiles more than we've ever seen him do. Their facility is very clean and ran efficiently . We definitively made the right choice out of the many senior assisted living options we had available to us.

My mother is a resident of the memory care unit at Bridgepointe. She has been there for about two months and my family and I are so pleased with the care she receives. All of the staff are so patient and kind. I have noticed that every employee knows each residents' name, and that all of their interactions are filled with compassion. Alzheimers is a wicked disease, but my mom seems more of her "old" self since moving there. She is more alert and active than she was before moving to Bridgepointe. She enjoys the staff and the other residents, and they talk and laugh together. It is comforting to know that she is well taken care of, and my family has been able to rest knowing that she is getting the around the clock care that we were struggling to provide at home. I believe the socialization that she has at Bridgepointe plays a huge part in her renewed quality of life. She participates in the fun activities they have, and it is wonderful to see her laughing and interacting with the people there. We toured several facilities before choosing Bridgepointe and we have been so pleased with our choice.

Ashgrove does not like a bad review...this Christian Community is anything but Christian... They interfere in your martial and financial life and then take advantage of the patient..I'm petty sure it's called mine control..they have their own lawyer and of course they're own dr. who are a!l elderly and retired..Believe me this will not stay on their site as it is not an excellent review as the first one was not..but if the shoe fits which in this case it does they are paid to be nice to you...it's all about the money as most nursing homes are.

If you really believe all these reviews no assisted living really is a five star ... They have a turn over in personnel just like all other facilities.. and these people are paid to be nice to you...This facility. Interferes in you personal life and you fiances...making decisions that is to their benefit and not informing you of medical decisions they are making on your partners behalf assuming that you don't care. Long term insurance is their golden goose.

Just wanted to take a moment to commend the entire staff at Bridgepointe. We visited other communities in and around Lexington, and felt that Bridgepointe was the right place for our loved one as soon as we walked through the doors. The facility is so nice, the communal areas are just like home and the Memory Care rooms are perfect! We’ve been able to relax and trust that the very best of care is being given. I am a caregiver with Visiting Angels and sit with one of the residents at Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods so I have the opportunity families don’t have to observe day to day care, attitudes and treatment by the facility staff. I can honestly say this is an amazing place with excellent staff. I would have no reservations at all recommending this place. The staff are caring, compassionate, kind and competent. The facility is a nice, clean, beautiful place.

Bridgepointe at Ashgrove is without question the most efficient and caring nursing home I have been in.. I have watched activities there for over three years.. including day care, memory care and physical disability.. and always been impressed with staff attention to details from facility cleanliness to patient personal care. I would not take my loved one to another place.

When we first came to Bridgepoint the nurse stayed after her shift to get Mom into the computer system so her meds would not be delayed. My mom later transitioned from assisted living to memory care. Everyone was very kind and helpful in making this transition. We have been there three plus years and EVERYONE has been helpful and kind. I consider many of the staff as friends. They have offered me help through workshops and guest speakers so that I can help care for my mom. They communicate lovingly and well.

My parents have lived in assisted living at Bridgepointe for 5 yrs. It is difficult to rely on others to care for your loved ones, but It is apparent that the nursing and administrative staff love the residents & try best to provide for their individual needs. It was very difficult for my parents to leave their beloved farm in another county, but now they admit this is the best place for them. This has been so reassuring to me, especially during COVID. Although, the restrictions have been difficult for all the residents & families, they have gone over & beyond to fill in what family members usually do & to provide a safe environment where all have remained safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bridgepointe as a second home for your loved one.

My mother is at this facility. She has been there for over a year. She is on the memory care unit and I couldn’t be any happier. I wasn’t sure i was making the right decision but after talking to her Doctor and staff, I realized it was the best decision for her. She loves it, never asks to go home.
