When I walk into The Grove, the staff is so welcoming. I got to visit with many Residents who were enjoying breakfast and I watched a fitness activity. The staff was so friendly and the residents seem to really enjoy spending time together. I love the energy and fun activities offered here!

I spent almost a year in The Grove recovering from a stroke. I got very good care there and made friends with staff and fellow residents. The building and grounds are well taken care of, and I was proud to have visitors there. I recommend you take a look if you need assisted living facilities for yourself or a loved one.

The hardest decision I made was to move my mom to assisted living. the staff at the grove has been incredible. so knowledgeable, so helpful and so very caring. I highly recommend it. Mom has been there 3 months now. this staff!!!! they prove again and again that every resident matters. they go above and beyond! my mom feels so loved! I wish I could give the grove 20 stars. It has been said that management sets the tone. Jennifer certainly sets an exceptional tone by setting high standards and creating a caring loving culture.

Started out great... seriously, for the first year, it was awesome. She's started staying in her room more, now, and we'd prefer for her to be out and active. Maybe a little more encouragement to get out would be better, and would give the employees more opportunity to make her bed, clean her bathroom, pick up her clothes from the day before... have recently seen all these on recent visits that needed to be attended to. Also, when she chooses to have meals in her room, it costs... A LOT... same meal... but delivery service is literally $575/month... we'd rather she be strongly encouraged to participate in the social aspect of meals in the dining room. When her money runs out, we'll have to move her. We'd rather she stay where we're all comfortable.

I cannot say enough about how much The Grove staff ministered to my family in the time of need. They were helpful, kind, and respectful to my mother and helped us navigate through her last days of care. They treated us like family and demonstrated true compassion and understanding of our need to be heard and well-informed throughout the process. My husband and I were ready to move in ourselves to have such loving care and delicious meals! The Grove has been a tremendous blessing to us and we highly recommend to all.

My partner (Dave S.) was admitted to Memory Care at The Grove on April 25th, after a very bad experience elsewhere in town. Being at the Grove has made all the difference. Upon his arrival two staff members greeted him at the front door, literally rolled out the red carpet, more staff welcomed him with hugs and cheers when he entered the building where several of our friends had joined us to make this a special day. In the three weeks he has been there, David has already participated in a fishing outing at a private lake outside Tulsa, been on a lunch outing with staff in BA, on "campus" attended a Cinque Demayo celebration, a Mother's Day tea party and the Grove's first ever "mock prom party" where the dining room was turned into a dance floor with balloons, special lighting effects, a DJ, hors d'oeuvres, and dancing that brought tears to everyone's eyes. Residents in Assisted Living, as well as in Memory Care, were invited and assisted by staff (wearing prom dresses!) to "dance" in their wheelchairs or with their walkers. One staff member was seen holding a colostomy bag to allow a resident to dance with her husband who is a memory patient. It brought tears to our eyes! To see that much joy in a setting that in general tends to be depressing to say the least, was uplifting and a sign of how much this particular place is dedicated to "making lemonade from lemons". It takes a lot to make all that happen. The Grove seems dedicated to providing a "home" where residents feel cared for and valued, not treated as victims of their circumstances. Its a joyful setting. Services are designed around their own unique "Symphony of Life" program, which is relatively new and needs some fine-tuning but holds great promise. All in all, we cannot sing enough praises about The Grove. Tucked away in mid-town Tulsa amidst a grove of trees, sits a treasure that offers the best of the best in town for seniors who need assisted living or memory care. How lucky we are! Thank you!!

Family. That is the first word we think of regarding The Grove at Midtown. Since we moved my mom in four months ago, we have been continually impressed with the quality of care everyone has shown my mom. By the first week, staff knew her by first name, all questions and requests have been promptly met, and the staff goes above and beyond our expectations taking a very personal approach to her care. The facilities are comfortable, pleasant, very navigable, impeccably clean and fresh smelling, and the activity directors are kind, fun-loving, and willing to go above and beyond. We are constantly telling ourselves how lucky we got when choosing The Grove.

Brookdale was a great fit for my mom. We were able to transition her without any challenges. Her spoken English skills had already been declining and the staff worked hard to ensure communication was successful. The office staff was always cordial and took the time to listen to any concerns or questions we may have. You know they care, when they are personally affected by the passing of your loved one and still do anything to help. I miss my mom and will also miss seeing the great Claire Bridge 2 Team. Thank you for loving my mom and loving us.

I highly recommend Brookdale Tulsa Midtown for your loved ones. My mom lived there for about 8 years. Over that time, I got to know many of the staff - they are extremely caring and go out of their way to personally get to know each resident. Many of them have been there for an extremely long time, which provides stability and high quality of care. Brookdale has a very good system of integrating outside medical services, so that my mom did not need to leave to see her doctor. Their team was able to provide me with abundant guidance as to decisions we needed to make regarding changes in care over the years. Before Covid, there was a regular schedule of enrichment and social activities brought in for the residents. During the past year, they have done an excellent job of managing Covid risk. I appreciate how they were able to arrange different activities like drive-bys and outside ice cream and even outside distanced porch visits so that we could see our family members. They were also proactive in leading various electronic ways to connect, such as video calls. Jennifer Braun, the on-site leader, is extremely capable and quick to take actions to remedy any problems which may occur. My mom's last days were at Brookdale with hospice, and she received wonderful and compassionate care. I always felt confident that my mom received the best possible care during her years at Brookdale.

I highly recommend Brookdale in midtown! It’s a wonderful place and it’s because of its amazing staff too!! It’s clean and very welcoming. Most of all they operate with integrity and real compassion for their residents. It’s a lively place too with lots of activities and interaction with the residents. My grandpa loves it there and calls it home!

My mother was in the memory care unit (She has Alzheimer's) for 2 & 1/2 years. The staff really does an amazing job with the residents. You can tell they truly care about them. It took a while for her to adjust (a couple of months) which is normal but I think she pretty much felt at home there. My mom recently passed away from her disease and the staff went above and beyond to help her and our family through the process. I felt the love they had for my mom and that made all the difference in the world. I know she was well cared for, respected and loved.

Had a wonderful group luncheon for a dear friend of mine that lives at Brookdale Tulsa Midtown. The luncheon was provided by Brookdale and arranged by Sheryl Knutson. We all greatly appreciated Brookdale’s hospitality. My friend said she enjoys living at Brookdale and especially appreciates the friendly staff that provides for all of her needs. Thank You Sheryl!!!

Hallways smell like urine. Food is like overcooked cafeteria food. Aides are always saying in a minute and don't ever come back. When my mom needs to use the restroom she needs to go pretty quickly, not sit for 7 minutes. Aides serve the food and are too overwhelmed with too many residents and bringing them down to eat and returning them to their rooms. Most of the time they have to sit and wait to go return to their room because staff is still waiting tables. Understaffed for number of residents.

Brookdale Midtown is a great assisted living community in Tulsa. The staff is very caring, as they truly do anything and everything to assure their residents are well taken care of and happy. Activities are bountiful which keeps the residents active. An amazing place to call home!

We could not be more happy and relieved that our Dad is living at Brookedale. They were so kind and caring as he adjusted to Assisted Living and 1 year later were just as kind, caring and empathetic as he adjusted to their memory care. My family is forever grateful for God opening the doors and leading us to Brookdale Midtown. My Nanny has been a resident a little over 2 years now and she is soo loved and cared for each and every day. As her granddaughter I would give anything for my Nanny to be in a loving and beautiful enviroment she can call home and that is what Brookdale has been for her...HOME. The residence itself is beautiful! As you pull up the landsacaped drive you feel as tho you are approaching a Southern Plantation. When you step Inside you are greeted with smiling loving hearts and beautiful decor. It is ALWAYS clean and smells soo nice. My 3 young daughters and I visit weekly and have always been just another part of the family! This has been a precious blessing to us all because " Nanny's house" was always the place to be and even though she is now living at Brookdale the staff and Environment has helped us not to even skip a beat!! Nanny's House is still a beautiful place to be!

I visit a friend here at least 3 days each week, and I have gotten to know some of the staff pretty well. They take good care of my sweet friend, and always let me participate in activities while I'm there. It feels like family now when I go, because I know so many of the residents by name. The facility is so nice and clean, and they always have music playing. My only complaint is sometimes it takes longer than it should to respond to the call button. I would be thrilled to live here when I need it. Heck, I'd move in now if I could!

I am so pleased with Brookdale Midtown. My sister Katherine has been there for over a month and she is flourishing in her new environment! She is quite busy with daily activities and a visit to a museum last week. The caregivers and administrative staff are caring and professional. I feel comfortable she is well taken care of when I can't visit. She is happy and I have peace of mind. I highly recommend this location.

My Mom has been at Brookdale in the Memory Care unit for 2 years. I am amazed with the consistency of the caregivers on her floor. Over that time, there have been very few changes in those caring for her. I am so very thankful for that because they all know her and what she needs even though she cannot express those needs. The things that have changed are the decor (such great improvements) and getting a full-time Activities person to support only the Memory Care floor--I love this! Thank you Brookdale staff!

Over 5 years ago my sisters and I were seeking a "home away from home" for our 89 nine year young mom, and discovered Brookdale Midtown. She moved into a two room apartment in their assisted living portion of the building and couldn't be happier. She continues to say how lucky we were to find Brookdale Midtown, how happy she is and feels safe & secure being there. We have found the staff to be most helpful, compassionate and understanding. If patience is a virtue then most certainly Brookdale Midtown's staff are a virtuous people! I think what sets them apart is the fact that theirs is not a job but a calling...to care for Mom as if she were their own; I absolutely LOVE them for this. I can pop in anyday, anytime and am welcomed by name and am told what my mom has been up to that day. Brookdale Midtown encourages family involvement and offers many opportunities to come together as a larger "community family." If you are looking for a "new home" for your loved one, I would certainly recommend Brookdale Midtown.
