My mother in law stayed for two weeks for a short term respite stay and we were very impressed with this facility. I toured many of the facilities in Stark County and hands down, this place felt the most welcoming. The cleanliness, kindness of the staff, communication, quality of physical therapy and the food were all very good.

My parents moved into AVIVA Hills a month ago. They have adjusted well, all of the staff have been so helpful and friendly from our transition to get ready for the move to moving in. AVIVA has quality apartments in many different sizes. My parents chose a one bedroom, with small kitchen, nice size living room and walk in shower bathroom. I have had lunch and dinner with them and the food is good. During lunch last week, mom and dad said they don't miss their house and like it where they are now!!

This is a quaint beautiful community snuck in to the busy North Canton scene. The residents who get to call Aviva Hills home, are an amazing group of people who make Aviva Hills a warm welcoming community. From residents Bob and Mary Lee - Moving to Aviva Hills was a whole new chapter in our lives. My husband was diagnosed with Dementia and I didn't want him to come here alone as I have been his sole caregiver for 2 years. The moment we stepped into Aviva Hills, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We moved into one of their beautiful apartments. What also makes our stay so great is that we may have our pet Abby see us anytime. The Activity Director is awesome! Bob and I hate to miss any activities that happen. The food in the dining room is delicious. If you don't want the entree, there is a lot of other options. The whole staff is wonderful, from housekeeping, all the way up to the Director. One of the activities Bob likes is corn hole, and he never misses it. We also have entertainment, bus trips to various places and a highlight for me was the recent trip to the casino. We also have a bistro area on the second floor, that is where we play cards with our wonderful friends, they also supply drinks and snacks in the Bistro. We also have a great, covered porch area to sit at and around the back we have a gazebo and pond. We can sit and watch the geese, rabbits, ground hogs, and ducks. We also have a vegetable garden that is growing great! This was the best decision we made. Thank you Aviva Hills for making us so happy and content.

This is for Landra Z. a resident at Aviva Hills. "My admission to Aviva Hills Assisted Living Community or to any such facility was totally unexpected. I was an active an active widow, enjoying my own home and preparing to go to an evening exercise class. It was dark, rainy, and cold when I stepped out on my patio to fill my bird feeder. Disaster struck when I fell down the embankment into the middle of the backyard! Two hours later my neighbor came home from work and heard me calling for help. Paramedics took me to the hospital where I underwent surgery for a broken neck and miscellaneous injuries. The prognosis was grim, so my daughter searched the Canton area for an Assisted Living. She felt Aviva Hills was the answer since she lived 1/2 mile down the street at the time. All this happened two years ago. I am happily settled and pleased with the care I am receiving. I have a single room overlooking a pond with a fountain--a swimming pool for a gaggle of geese ad a pair of mallard ducks! Physical Therapy has helped me re-gain most of my ability to participate in the many activities planned by our Activities Director. Our meals are varied and available during regular hours. The staff is cordial; they know all of our names and interact with us regularly. The building is clean and well-maintained. The residents are friendly and help each other when they are able. I would highly recommend Aviva to anyone in need of such a community.

We receive excellent housekeeping service, three meals per day, numerous activities, and opportunities to participate in different fitness workouts. If you are looking for a nice, warm, loving, and safe place for Mom or Dad, I would suggest my home here in Canton, Ohio. Aviva Hills does have a memory care unit, and there are approximately 80 rooms in the entire facility. Each room has a shower and shelving in the bathroom for toiletries and towels. We have wonderful nurses and aides who attend to our needs. The laundry and housekeeping departments are very efficient. There is a Beauty Salon and movie theater. The Chapel is always available, and the facility hosts both Catholic and Protestant services. We have a large dining room with seating for loners, couples, and groups of friends. Our Activities Department has something for everyone - games for the brain and body. We have a chorus that performs for our families on numerous occasions. We have an in-house newspaper run by our residents. There is an art class each month. If there is something you'd like as an activity, just ask! This is a loving home. Cate

Beautiful place to spend time or long term live in care. Excellent chef on staff, great administrative staff. To some who say they have had turnovers with patients, it's probably because lots of residents die in these types of homes. Caring and loving staff.

Very horrible facility. I have worked there a few times. They are always short, The residents don’t get good quality care, one of the nurses is the mom of the administrator. Always drama. The night shift nurse Alicia is very rude and made a racial remark against my color saying “bye Felicia” and when I say something to her they leave a horrible slanderous review on my work account. That is so absurd it makes you question the authenticity. Horrible place to work. Horrible place for any people of color.

I moved into Aviva Hills after a very serious illness to recover. I was there eight months and in that time I got to the residence and the staff. I had a fantastic experience I felt safe and cared for. I felt like all of my needs were met. I would highly recommend Aviva hills for anyone who’s recovering or needs assisted-living in anyway. And if I need assisted-living again I would not hesitate to go back. I would know I would be welcomed and cared for. if you or your family member needs this type of care this is a fantastic place. I am thankful for their help is my recovery.
