Seeing how the different staff interacted with the residents, the cute decor and feedback from others about the yummy food was so neat to experience. Moving a parent into assisted living is one of the most difficult decisions a family can make, but the team at Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs made the entire process far less stressful than I ever expected. From our first visit through move-in, everyone was welcoming, patient, and genuinely caring. The community itself is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. During our tours we saw happy, engaged residents, and the food was excellent. A special thank you to Nick, Marshall, and Lori, who each played a significant role in making this transition easier for both my mother and our family. Nick and Marshall went above and beyond to help my mother become comfortable with her new surroundings. They arranged for her to get a haircut in the community salon before giving her a full tour of the facility. It was a thoughtful gesture that helped ease the anxiety of such a major life change. Lori was invaluable throughout the move-in process. She made sure we had all of the necessary documentation, responded quickly to every question from my sister and me, and was always friendly, organized, and eager to help. When my mother arrived on move-in day, the staff gave her such a warm welcome that she immediately felt like more than just a new resident. They took the time to greet her, make her feel at home, and help her settle in, which meant a great deal to our family. Throughout the entire experience, communication has been outstanding. Every question has been answered promptly, and it's clear that the staff genuinely cares about both the residents and their families. I can't thank the team at Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs enough for helping make such a difficult transition a positive experience. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication gave us confidence that we made the right decision, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an assisted living community.

Recognition and Appreciation for Lori Robb My family and I recently visited Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs for an initial tour of the Memory Care unit as we explored options for my father, who is living with dementia and he is currently at another local memory care facility. During our visit, we shared with Lori my dad’s story and the journey our family has experienced as we have witnessed the progression of his condition. What stood out most to us was the empathy, compassion, and genuine concern demonstrated by Lori Robb. It was evident that she truly cares about residents and their families and has a passion for caring for people. Lori went far beyond simply showing us the facility. She was warm, patient, easy to talk to, and took the time to answer our questions and explain the program in a way that made us feel comfortable and informed. Loti’s kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a lasting impression on our family. In addition to Lori’s outstanding support, we were very impressed by the noticeable high standards of care and attention provided to the residents. The cleanliness of the facility, the professionalism displayed by the Resident Specialists and Medical Technicians, the way we observed staff interacting with residents, and the security measures in place all reflected a culture of dignity, compassion, and excellence. Lori’s clear and thorough presentation of the Memory Care program, combined with the quality we witnessed throughout the facility, made the decision an easy one for our family. As a result, we have chosen to move my father from his current Memory Care community to Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs and have initiated the paperwork to begin the transition. Moving my mom into assisted living was one of the most stressful and emotional experiences I’ve gone through, especially after running into multiple obstacles with another facility. Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs completely changed that experience for us. They were able to coordinate everything and get her moved in in less than a week. Given how quickly everything needed to come together, I truly didn’t think it would be possible”but they made it happen. The staff was responsive, compassionate, and truly understood the urgency of our situation. I especially want to recognize Lori, Nick, Marshall, and Michael. Each of them played a part in making this transition smooth and manageable, and their kindness did not go unnoticed. During those first couple of weeks, they also kept me updated on how she was transitioning, which meant so much”especially since she understandably wanted nothing to do with me during that time. That level of communication and support made a difficult situation a little easier. Most importantly, my mom is safe, cared for, and in a place where I feel comfortable knowing she’s being looked after. That peace of mind means everything. I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Grand Villa for stepping in when we needed it most.

First, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Rita Saulsberry. Rita assists in the main dining room during singing activities and other events. She consistently went above and beyond by coming to our mother’s room and helping her over to the 100 building, ensuring she had a front-row seat to enjoy the music and singing. Rita even danced with our mom by her chair, bringing immense joy to her. She is truly in the right profession and a blessing to all who have the pleasure of meeting her. Luz from housekeeping is another gem at your facility. Her attentiveness and caring nature were evident as she always kept an eye out for the needs of the residents. Luz’s kindness and spirituality were very appreciated especially during our mom’s final days, as she offered prayers and comfort to both our mom and our family. Also, she ensured our mom’s room was very clean and pleasant. Many blessings to her for her exceptional service. Luiz from Maintenance was always reliable and a hard worker. Whether it was adding cable to the room or moving furniture, Luiz completed tasks swiftly and with a smile. His helpful and pleasant demeanor made a notable impact on our experience. Jamara, one of the Supervisors, also deserves special recognition. Her excellent care and communication were invaluable. She promptly informed me of any concerns and implemented necessary safety measures for our mom, such as a raised toilet seat, an elevated bedrail, and non-slip grips on the floor near the bed and bathroom. Jamara’s warm and caring personality, coupled with her sincere hugs, reassured our family that everything was running smoothly. Bernice, the Physical Therapist who was consulted for our mom, provided range of motion exercises and instructed on daily activities and fall prevention. Her upbeat and positive attitude was a great hope during challenging times. Bernice’s follow-up calls and genuine concern for our mom’s well-being made our family feel incredibly supported. The entire staff at Grand Villa Altamonte Springs were always kind and worked diligently to make our mom’s stay as pleasant as possible. However, we wanted to particularly acknowledge the individuals named above for their outstanding care and dedication. We toured Grand Villa at Altamonte yesterday and Eddie, the leasing coordinator was amazing. He was so patient with us and well spoken, it felt like we were long lost friends. Marshall, the Executive Director was also very kind over the phone and set up my appointment after texting with me the evening prior. All to say, the customer service was above and beyond. The facility was clean and all the staff was happy to be there. I was suprised that even in the memory care nighborhood, the residents were all also smiling, engaging and doing activities. I loved it so much, that I wanted to work there! I hope it works out for my mother to live at Grand Villa and spend the rest of her last precious years among these loving people. The "feel" of the place literally feels like family.

I have been very impressed with the staff at Grand Villa Altamonte Springs. The moment that I met Rebecca Slough, I knew that I was in the right place. I was in need of finding a place quickly for my mother and Rebecca was very informative, professional, and accommodating. She made me feel like family, and that is the kind of place that I was looking for to place my Mom since she has lived with us for several years in our home. The process of transition went smoothly when also working with Audia. The admission went with ease as Marshall Legard is very professional and provided answers to my questions. I met Sophia as the first Nursing staff member and she was very good with my Mom with the admission and in taking care of her. Every staff member so far that I have spoken to on the Assisted Living side have been very good and caring. Richard with maintenance was very helpful also. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can trust that my Mom Is being taken good care of here. It is also comforting to know that I can reach out to Rebecca if we need anything and that Marshall is very supportive of her Resident/Family requests. Grandvilla is a great place! I have had 2 previous family members as residents there, my mother and aunt. We just moved in my uncle today and are grateful for all they have done for all my family members. The staff are amazing. I got to see several staff members that still work there and my mom was last at Grandvilla 5 years ago. I am happy that we were able to get my uncle in Grandvilla. Thank you Jean & Marshall for helping us make it happen. Thank you to the medical staff Lindsey, Audia, and Ronald for the warm welcome. Thank you to Miriam/dining supervisor and the other wonderful staff for sitting and chatting with us and the warm welcome also. Looking forward to the wonderful care my uncle will receive!

We loved everything about this place from the facility itself to the staff. Our coordinators, Jean and Marshall are clearly experts in their profession and their wealth of knowledge, understanding, patience, and tenacity to ensure all of our questions were answered was impressive. We were able to meet some of the other team members from administration and facilities and all were so helpful, engaging, and most importantly happy. The facility is so well maintained both inside and the outside grounds. We left feeling this is a place we could place our mother with confidence.

Grand Villa is nice because a lot of us residents enjoy being able to help others and to be surrounded by people that care about you. The staff is amazing, alot of the staff is made up of all stars. The activities here are amazing and they do a really good job making happy hour fun for everyone. I enjoy watching the staff dance and act silly for our entertainment. It truly does look like home and feel like family 🙂

I have found a place that will help me do the things that I am no longer able to do for myself. I had a friend that recommended grand villa to me that lived in the memory care here. I am very happy here, I love my room, it has plenty of space for me to feel comfortable. The bathroom is exceptional. I've made tons of friends here and the staff is always super friendly and caring. I've thoroughly enjoyed the activities here, there's always something to do!
