The facility is beautiful, with gorgeous views, but it was the people who made it truly exceptional. Every staff member treated her with kindness, compassion, and genuine love. They went above and beyond to make every resident feel special and part of a true community. The activities were thoughtful, engaging, and full of joy. They gave her opportunities to laugh, socialize, and enjoy life again, bringing a sense of youthfulness and purpose to her final months. The views are breathtaking from every room as you look out over the Gulf. The staff is dedicated and the ED, Brooke, has been there for over 20 years! The new sales director, Jackie, is beyond helpful answering families questions while touring and moving in. Building looks like it is getting updated and lobby is awesome. Some of the floors are not as updated as others and seems like elevator wait can take a while depending on time of day. We have looked at several options and the cost is pretty great in comparison to so many other places. The size of apartments and views are hard to beat. Will probably utilize home care for extra one on one services, but the affordable price makes that possible.

Toured The Oaks of Clearwater with my mom who’s looking for independent living and we were really impressed. The water views are incredible- especially towards the Clearwater Sound and for the prices are really good considering, you get so much. The apartments are nice, meals are included (even though she’ll probably still go out to eat a lot). There’s a mix of residents since they have different levels of care, but everyone seemed friendly. Feels like it could be a great option an on our short list.

My mother and I have lived here over three years. The staff is caring and professional, lovely lobby and dining room. We are quite happy here. I was 1st admitted to the 2nd floor, skilled nursing, but with the help of the wonderful Physical Therapists; I was able to move to Assisted living.

The oaks at Clearwater has been absolutely fantastic for my Grandmother. The staff has been wonderful especially Pamela. You can tell she is so very kind and caring for all the residents. It was nice talking to her and getting to learn that she started working with the elderly in the assisted living facilities since she was 16!

When it comes to Rehab and care with top notch providers it is a all in one facility. But the building itself needs to be updated. For the high cost that they charge it is awfulvthat the windows leak causing lots of water in the Apts, just from rain. Also the building sways. You can feel it moving under your feet. This to me doesn't seem like it would be very safe. Maybe a inspection needs to be done sooner than later.

My mother has been in the Oaks for over 5 years. No complaints. However, this past Hurricane Milton mandatory evacuation was handled extremely well in my opinion as I sit here along the Gunnison River thinking about this past storm. Communication by phone both before and after passing info. was covered very well. They appeared calm and organized as though their plan fell right in place. Maint. Dept. was Extremey efficient after the storm to clean up "storm mess" for a very speedy, safe re-opening of the very well built building and getting their residents back home safely! Thank you to the whole staff for stepping up and certainly going above and beyond this past week. 10 outta 10 on Storm Evac Preparness. Nice job to everyone. You all should be rewarded for your effort and committment to duty..(maybe a real nice appreciation bbq cook-out for all??). It's hard to impress me and you just did! Thanks again.

If you’re going through the process of choosing which facility is best for your loved one, you’ve found the place at the oaks of Clearwater! It’s one of the toughest decisions my family has had to make, and we are so pleased to have decided on the oaks of Clearwater. Their memory care floor is great, and has taken great care of my 92 year old grandmother with dementia. The staff, the food, and the facility has been everything we could ask for and more! Adam specifically has gone above and beyond even after we moved my grandmother in. Thank you all! 🙂

The staff is amazing, they are highly skilled and compassionate in their services. The building itself is centrally located near the downtown Clearwater area. The Clearwater Bay views are spectacular!!

High rate of turnover....meals are not good. Used to have all day dining, now very small windows for meals plus very limited menu. Lots of construction now, so dirt, loud and messy. Prices have gone up, but residents get less. Elevators are slow and break down. (only two) Firefighters say anyone past the 9th floor would parish in a fire. There are 15 floors. Apparently both elevators were broken not long ago, so residents could not come down to eat. They were given breakfast and a sandwich for lunch and dinner. Pipes have burst causing flooding too recently. Needs lots of updates or to be torn down and rebuilt. Views are the best thing and some staff members really do seem to care.

Today I got in shock by knowing that this facility is not going to evacuate when is located on the water in zone A , instead they are threatening employees to loose their job if they don't stay in the facility from Wednesday, Thursday and so on . I can not believed. I am in fear of my brother that works for this facility and the safety of everyone. I will contact the news and every social media I can possible find right now.

I am writing but I know only 5 stars reviews are being posted here, dishonest management, dirty building, rats, roaches, poor care, not enough caregivers. Medications missing, not administered on time, residents are dirty, rashes. assisted living is only good for people who can take care of themselves, because if you cannot take care of yourself, you hardly get assistance and if you do mostly with attitude, rudeness, aides and med techs constantly on the phones , texting, facetiming...a lot to say, but you will not post it
