Each time we have had a physician appointment or hospitalization and rehab stay, she has been great in helping to ensure the information is added to the chart and returns are safe. I moved my 94 year old mom out. She lived here for years. Since the new owners , things have changed. Not for the better. It’s understaffed. I found my mom on a Sunday with a wet bed. She has dementia and did not know. This broke my heart!! I was going to move her prior to this due to staff I knew and liked all leaving, but gave them a chance. Then I had problems with business manager. Extremely rude and pompous. I always hand delivered my mom’s rent before the 5th of each month. I had them provide receipts. When new business manager started, she would send me invoices (sometimes two different ones) with late fees. It was every month. I made an appointment to speak with her. I showed up. Waited and waited. I was then told she’s not in and I should not have made appointment with receptionist. While waiting i learned a food order I had delivered to mom and arrived that morning did not get to her. That took an hour of pushing to get info and to find it delivered to wrong room. $220 order. When I finally met with business manager I could see her fumbling with computer trying to prove I was late. I had my receipts. She then tells me well she deposited after 15th of the month. What??!! At this point I was frustrated. Very frustrated. I admit I was not polite. But please she thought I was a moron. She then instructed me to give thirty day notice and move mom out. The stress on me was nonstop. For weeks and weeks telephones were not working. That took me many stressful hours to get one in my mom’s room Back to her wet bed no one watches or thinks .. they had to smell the situation. After this I started to bring her laundry home and wash it. They lost many things and delivered things that were not hers. I was bringing home wet bedding almost everyday. I had to go everyday to check on her. It’s a long drive. I worried every night. There are more stories that were good. Amber the executive director tried to improve mom’s situation. Tried helping us. Promised me she would report business manager to corporate. I don’t know if she did. Also promised me I would never interact with her again. Then my next meeting with executive director business manager was in office! There more errors business manage made. I will alert corporate to all my experiences. Staff is afraid of management. That’s terrible. More are leaving. There are many wonderful employees there that are not appreciated and are leaving. I wouldn’t recommend this place. You see the good reviews recently.i wonder . I have more . Go look. Ask around town. Word is out

This has been a wonderful place for my brother to live. The staff is caring and so nice to him. His room is bright and big and he is able to have many of his personal things with him. Plus his view is spectacular. A shout out to Crystal and the nursing staff.wonderful caring people. Food is very good with excellent friendly servers. He calls Volante home now.I couldn’t ask for more.

I love it here. The ambience is beautiful, and a pleasant floral aroma fills the air. The residents seemed to be playing a fun board game with each other and laughing together. The front lobby receptionist was very kind and understanding.

My husband and I are caretakers of elderly relatives and recently made the decision to move them into Volante. As Volante has various types of living arrangements, including assisted living and memory care, we were able to keep a loving husband and wife together at the same facility even though one needs to be in the memory care unit and the other is still able to be in assisted living. The staff at Volante has been very helpful and supportive of working with us to allow the couple to be able to visit and spend time with each other, all while remaining in a safe, caring environment. The facility has recently gone through a transition in terms of ownership, so we did notice a few "growing pains" compared to the previous facility the couple was at, which has had consistency for 20+ years, however the staff all seem to be very motivated to continue to learn, grow and work together to create a welcoming environment for both residents and their visitors and loved ones. Of particular note were the services provided by Krystal, the Wellness Director, who has been instrumental as we work through the various transitions of life the couple has been going through in their move to Volante.

Aloha Hula of Brevard has been invited to perform at Volante a few times. We often dance at senior facilities and we found this one particularly nice. The setting is inviting with fun supportive staff. Karla Perez seems steadfast in bringing stimulating activities to the residents via outside entertainment, festivals and holiday celebrations. In addition, the facilities appear to be well maintained. Thank you Karla for inviting us to bring the spirit of aloha to your guests.

From the moment I walked into Volante, I knew I had found my brother’s new home. From the very 1st tour, I was so impressed with the facility and more so with the staff. Everyone was so welcoming. I cannot give Tim Hazlett enough praise and thanks for all he did to make a very difficult transition for my brother from the skilled nursing facility to Volante as smoothly as possible. The issues were on the discharge at the skilled nursing facility and Tim went above and beyond to facilitate what was needed for discharge. He was always available for my calls and really helped the process even when it seemed hopeless. My brother was finally moved into Volante on December 5th and he was also very impressed with the facility and staff. The best part is how very happy he is there which is exactly what I was hoping for. I will definitely recommend Volante to anybody who is looking for a facility for their loved ones.

Specifically Vicki, Auria and Grace but so many other the dining and kitchen staff med techs and nurses, housekeeping all the folks who rarely get thanks please know how invaluable your kindness is to families of the people you share your best with. Mom moved into Grand Villa of Melbourne this year, many options in the area but, love the way she is treated here. I know it’s not the local leadership driving this project so this message is for corporate, get that pool area remodel going!! Local staff and leadership thanks for your decency and kindness not an easy life situation to navigate. Thanks Grand Villa caregivers and staff.

My Nana has been here since Christmas and we already feel like family that has been there forever. All of their staff members welcome you with open arms. My Nana has improved tremendously with her speech and motor skills since she has been residing here. They take the time to work with all the residents and keep them engaged in all the activities they offer. Walking through the automatic glass sliding doors felt like walking into a vacation home. Mom has thrived in only one month of living at Harborside @Melbourne. Her health and mental well-being is back to her normal. The staff is kind, caring and helpful. Everyone is treated with respect. Many of the daily activities are inclusive and thoughtful in that the residents enjoy being part of them. So blessed to call Harborside at Melbourne a home for both mom and me.

My grandmother seems to like it here. Although the rooms are so small and outdated. Everyone has been nice when I'm there. However, it is very frustrating that if you take a family member out and come back after 7pm no one is there to let them in. We stood outside waiting for 35 minutes buzzing and trying to call the office as well as banging on the windows. Finally a resident let them in as it was getting so frustrating. Need a new system as it was not only my grandmother, but 2 others outside. It is hot in Florida and leaving older people outside in the heat to wait is awful.

My family and i have been searching for months for a place that felt safe and comfortable for our mother to call home. After month's of exhaustion from not being able to find a place i was reccomened to reach out to Grand Villa. So with our last little bit of hope we gave Grand Villa a ring. We were put in touch with a very polite young lady named Mckenzie, she made us feel at ease right away. Of course with our past experinces we had a ton of questions for her which she happily answered and the questions she didnt have the answers to she made the extra effort to find those answers for us. After seeing how commited she was and how reassuring she was we knew that we had found the right place for mom where she would get the care she deserves. An employee named Rona contacted me to visit with the residents and I agreed to. She was super friendly as well as everyone else I interacted with. Rona was clear and informative on the requirements concerning COVID-19. I appreciate her concern and the companies policies to make sure everyone stays healthy and safe. The atmosphere was warm and the vibe is chilled. It sure looked like a nice place to live if needed or a nice place to work.

My first visit to see family was the first time I had entered the facility due to Covid. I wanted to make sure that everyone had their vaccines before visiting because I enter the local Jail regularly for work. The facilities cleanliness and overall beauty impressed me. The receptionist was helpful during check in and explained the rules of the visit. I am pleased that my relative is in the facility.

Grand Villa is a great place where my mom resides. She moved from Pennsylvania and just loves the water views and warm weather. The facility is very clean and well kept. Mom loves the variety of food and she said it’s good too. The staff in the memory care unit are a great group of professionals and very caring. The daily activities keep mom occupied and engaged and she loves them. I love receiving the quarterly news letter and pictures of mom from memory care as I am not local and it is enjoyable to receive. When looking for a place for mom, we spent a lot of time researching, interviewing and touring a variety of facilities and happily placed mom at Grand Villa. She says the food is wonderful and enjoys watching all the activities - she has never been much of a joiner, but at least she is out of her room and enjoying the beautiful environment. Grand Villa ALF goes above and beyond to make sure their residents have a high quality life at this facility. There are so many fun activities they involve the residents with. Every time I have visited a resident there everyone is smiling and there is a small knit family feel that you don’t get with the larger facilities. 8/19 I am my sister’s POA. She has been at Grand Villa Melbourne since 2012. She has dementia, no local relatives or friends. Unfortunately no visitors for the last couple of years. I live in California and am unable to travel, so obviously the staff is my lifeline to her. In the past I must say communication has been hit or miss, ie. waiting for a return call for over a week, etc. Please note I have always felt she has been in good hands there. Since Nina Corsi has been executive director I’ve been group e-mailed regarding events, new hires and the like. Before, the communication would be about the holiday party for staff in December, which is fine, but not satisfactory. I thank her. The most recent resident care director, Kerri Breitner, has helped me enormously in the last couple of weeks as I’ve had issues with my sister. Kerri has been professional and kind and I appreciate her helping me in a timely manner. One of the needs was to get a new visiting doctor, which we did. Her office called, introduced themselves, saw my sister and asked my opinion regarding her health. No other doctor has done that in the past. Needless to say I am very pleased. Thank you everyone.

My Mom has been a resident at Grand Villa's Assisted Living facility for about nine months. During that time, we have been very pleased with the service provided to her. No complaints. The Resident Care staff has been very attentive and responsive to her needs. We rest easy knowing that Mom is well cared for. Nine months ago, we were initially concerned that she might not accept her new living arrangement well, that concern faded very quickly. She is enjoying her stay there; specifically the entertainment, special events, dining, friendly staff, and more importantly, the other residents in the facility. Kudos to the staff that has made her comfortable.

She gets plenty of personal attention. I've gotten to know the staff as we've worked together to smooth my mother's transition to Memory Care, and I have found them easy to work with and genuinely concerned for Mom's welfare. The receptionist has become like a family member to us. It is very reassuring if we have a need with our mom that I can make a phone call & know that it will be taken care of by the receptionist. We are grateful to the staff for treating my mom with care & respect. It isn’t an easy decision to place your loved one in an ALF but Grand Villa was very helpful with the transition.

My Mom moved into Grand Villa a year ago. The day that we toured the facility we were made so welcome that both Mom and I knew that this was the place to be. The administration and marketing staff were extremely helpful, informative, courteous and understanding to our needs. Most importantly they made my Mom feel special. The facility is clean and well kept and the food is really good. If there were any issues that needed to be addressed they were in a timely manner. Just the other day when Mom and I were discussing the fact that she is there a year already, my Mom said "I really love it here." That in itself made me very happy and comfortable that I made the best choice of facility for her. I've been recommending the Grand Villa to everyone who is in need of a care facility for their parent(s).
