Unfortunately I had to put my dad in a nursing home after taking care of him for almost 4 years. I looked at at least 30 places throughout San Diego, including "Board and Care" homes. As soon as I visited Plaza Village I had a different vibe. I had been talking with them for almost 7 months before I made my decision. I must say that I am extremely pleased with the staff and the care my dad is getting. I would highly recommend Plaza Village to anyone who has to make such a difficult decision. The staff is WONDERFUL and always willing to help. It is clean and doesn't have that nursing home smell. I can now move on knowing my dad is in a safe, clean and warm environment.

My mother recently stayed here for hospice care. The staff at this facility are beyond wonderful. It's hard enough going through the death of a parent, but the staff here did everything that they could to support my father and I. You can tell they truly care for the residents. I love the staff so much that I still go and visit them to say hi and thank you. I'm so grateful for everything they did for my mother.

My grandmother has been living in this facility for almost a year now. Angel, Elmer, Hugo, Tammy and Kelly have been wonderful. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and can be difficult to deal with at times. I really appreciate Russell her caregiver. He is the only one that she doesn't give a hard time to when it is shower day. They treat my grandmother like a member of their family. I don't know what we would have done without Plaza Village! Debbie and Richard
