Watercrest is truly a wonderful community. The residents are well cared for, the environment is welcoming and beautiful, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to provide excellent service and support. Everyone is friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. A special thank you to Jenn, the Sales Director, who is absolutely wonderful to work with. Watercrest is wonderful. The staff and the population are so much fun. I lived there for three months while I got my husband settled in the memory care unit and the interaction with his caregivers was easy. He is kept busy and engaged and everyone knows your name. The campus is clean and the chef prepares some delicious entrees. For holidays they have special menus and gatherings.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Jenn Hutt at Watercrest at Spence Springs. My brother is in need of memory care. Honestly, I have been challenged to do all the things that need to be for his care. Jenn has helped me so much that the challenge became much more manageable. The facility is very well maintained and did a great job of passing my smell test during my visit and the staff appear to be well engaged with patients. I’m very comfortable with the thought of my brother living there.

I wanted to start up by saying that I do not usually write reviews The when things are done the right way there’s no other option. First and foremost, the staff at Watercrest has been excellent. To start off with the wellness Director Jennifer Sparkman. So highly experienced and knowledgeable with a huge heart that always goes above and beyond.. Kayla Ramos the enrichment director. Oh my God, this woman just kept us on our toes, constant events and activities for all the residents. And lastly, but nowhere near least, Miss Cathy, the executive Director. What a wonderful woman, a true asset to Watercrest we consider her family.If you just walk in and look at the residents you will see all smiles. That should tell you everything as to what a wonderful community Watercrest Spanish Springs is.

Upon my initial visit to Watercrest Spanish Springs I found that everything I was promised came to be true. The associates fulfilled the promises of the management in terms of the level of service they would provide. The nurses & care staff exceeded our expectations when we decided to move here 2 years ago. I am moving to Virginia to be closer to my family this month & will greatly miss my Watercrest family and all the fun times we've had. When we came into assisted living I was concerned for the care and protection of my wife who has Alzheimer's. I was promised that if something happened to me Watercrest would make sure she was cared for. When the time came that I could not care for her Kathy, Executive Director and her team stepped up to make sure she was cared for in my absence. I am back now & able to care for her as I once did, not only have they supported her, but myself as well as I healed from surgery. We have been able to attend outings with other residents, remain living together & enjoy our time without worry. We have had an amazing experience and will carry everyone in our hearts, the friendships we've made will last a lifetime!

Our family is thankful for the whole team at Watercrest Spanish Springs for welcoming and caring for our brother. Our brother Jim ended up in a hospital early this year, as memory problems left him with life challenges that required more consistent attention then he was able to receive in his, then living situation. Recognizing his needs at the time would be best served on several levels in an assisted living home, we searched the Leesburg/Villages area to find a community that was suitable for him. We determined Watercrest Spanish Springs appeared to offer a good living situation with a great location for someone still very capable of getting out and about on foot especially, with his four-legged love and companion, Coco. Watercrest leadership and staff have been tremendous in caring for our brother and making the transition a relatively easy one. Anyone who has had to deal with the transition of a loved one/family member out of their own home knows its complex and can throw many challenges at the whole family. We are very appreciative of how the wonderful people at Watercrest, staff and other residents, have made it as easy as possible. We would even go so far to say with his living situation now stabilized, the socialization he receives on an ongoing basis and the systematic management/administration of medications, his memory challenges have diminished in recent weeks. All of this was enabled by the Executive Director, Kathy & the Community Relations Director, Jennifer making the trip to the hospital to meet my brother while he was an inpatient and working with the hospital on the transition directly from there to Watercrest. Finally, the residence and the atmosphere are something our family and yours, can be comfortable with and proud of.

Our family had a good experience here. I would say the more independent your loved one is, the better fit it its. In that case it is a pleasant apartment, nice meals, with a kind and supportive staff always available. If you need more care, you'd have to do more research to make sure it is a good fit for your particular family member. The staff is overall is above standard from my experience in the area.

My father lived at Watercress Assisted Living for three years. Throughout his residency the staff was outstanding! Always attentive and flexible to his needs. The facility was always clean and well maintained throughout his stay. The food was delicious and always provided a variety to choose from. The activity calendar always provided things to do and learn from including in house religious services which were well attended by the residents. The convenient location allowed him to easily travel to near by stores, restaurants and doctor appointments in his golf cart or if needed, transportation provided by Watercress. I have, and will continue to recommend Watercress to friends in need of an Assisted Living provider.

My mom just moved into Watercrest Spanish Springs Memory Care after being at another facility for the past year where she was steadily declining physically and mentally. In just the first week at Watercrest she has made an amazing 180 degree turn for the better gaining physical strength and mental acuity which I attribute to the wonderful food, activities that are varied and inclusive and an incredibly dedicated staff. I only wish the van would get fixed to be able to include transportation - the one missing element/service.
