My mother moved to La Siena nearly three years ago. The facility is beautiful, it feels more like a resort than an assisted living facility. The management and staff were amazing, always helpful and polite. The food in the dining room was much better than one would expect. As my mothers health began to fade the staff stepped up their assistance and you could tell that they had a genuine sense of concern for her. La Siena worked hand in hand with Hospice of the Valley to make mothers passing comfortable and dignified. I will never forget the sympathy the staff showed once my mother passed. Genuine tears from so many staff members, and condolences galore.

My father (now 89 years old) has found a true sense of home at La Siena, and that means everything to our family. Moving into an assisted living community is such a huge and potentially overwhelming life transition, but La Siena helped make it smooth and uplifting. What stands out most at La Siena is the vibrant and engaging environment. My father has built meaningful friendships and looks forward to the many daily opportunities to connect with others. He enjoys the on-site theater with freshly popped popcorn, the lectures/discussions with local experts in various fields, and the regular live musical performances. Jaren Mansfield did an amazing job showing me the room options and around the property. It is a beautiful facility and the residents I encountered were happy and outgoing. I attended a luau social event at.La Siena. All staff were very courteous, Friendly, professional, and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We did not choose to take a tour, but I could see that the facilities are beautiful. My friend and I had a magnificent time sitting by the pool and a casual, relaxed setting that was very conducive to in-depth conversation.

Both my mom and dad moved to La Siena in their early 90s. My dad came in physically compromised and the staff at La Siena went out of their way to ensure that he was well taken care of. The nursing staff and caretakers were kind, compassionate, and caring. After my dad passed, my mom enjoyed all the wonderful activities: music concerts, movies, painting, exercise class including chair volleyball and the parties. The activity staff planned wonderful and unique celebrations and special events. Kitchen staff and maintenance staff were friendly and willing to help with out-of-the-box projects. But what I appreciated the most was the concern and the protection provided during the Covid epidemic. Jonathan kept everyone safe. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My Mom recently moved into LaSiena and it has exceeded all of our expectations. We were expertly guided through the entire process and all of our questions were quickly answered. The entire facility is always clean and well-maintained. The food quality and selections are both outstanding and the activities really keep the residents engaged. Every encounter with the staff is very positive and you can tell they enjoy being there.

The managers, staff, and residents have all been extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good and plentiful. Maintenance needs are promptly addressed. The entering process was good, although a bit too much paperwork (some likely state health requirements). Lots of activities, especially those addressing physical and mental health. This was a great experience for us,as it gave us a wonderful perspective of what senior living should be like. I have to say La Siena is a great example that made us think getting older is better than we thought it could be. When you go to LA Siena you must see Dawn Rizo who will walk you through all of LA Siena's many amenities. If you are thinking about senior living we certainly would recommend visiting LA Siena.

Our family looked at quite a few Assisted Living Facilities for our mom but they all felt too sterile and institutional until we discovered La Siena. This place is warm, inviting with a "hotel -cruise ship" feeling. The staff is so friendly and we felt that they all genuinely cared about the residents, down to the maintenance workers. Getting to this point with your elderly parents is a very challenging and emotional time in their lives and yours. La Siena made that transition very comforting. We highly recommend La Siena !

La Siena is a beautiful community. The residents and staff are friendly and welcoming. It has such a serene and homey feel to it. They offer a variety if activities and all day dining which is certainly a plus. I refer my clients to numerous communities and this is one that I would highly recommend.

Do not send loved ones here! Our Mom lives here. It is very expensive and many residents feel as though they are trapped - once they move in, it is very difficult to change apartments or move out. Contrary to what the company portrays, expenses increase every single year. The quality of food and service has deteriorated dramatically over the past year. The Chef is unresponsive to, and dismissive of, criticism. At times meals, particularly breakfast, are so poorly prepared that they are inedible. It seems as though the corporate headquarters (SRG) has created an uncaring culture at this care facility.

As a professional in the senior care industry there are certain things I look for in a community setting. La Siena is lead by an Executive Director who is in touch with his entire team from housekeeping, dining and maintenance to his care and concierge team. He takes pride in doing what is best for his team and his residents. Deb, their Zest Director is also well connected to the residents and provides an atmosphere where activities are focused on interests and encourage socialization. Pam, who also works in the Zest department is dedicated to helping everyone stay active and engaged at a level that is comfortable for each individual. Sherri and her care team work hard to manage care plans and watch for any change of conditions. They are proactive and anticipate care needs for residents in Assisted Living. More impressive is that they always know the status of a resident who is is at the hospital or re-hab, and Jonathan, the ED often visits residents himself to check on their condition. The community is always clean, the team appears to work closely together and it is one of the most comfortable communities to spend time in. I personally have engaged with many residents who constantly compliment the entire team at La Siena. If you are looking for a senior living community that is more than bells and whistles, and want to experience a vibrant and supportive community, come see La Siena.

I especially liked the large, walk-in closets and many kitchen cabinets. I am just starting with my research on independent living homes, but La Siena is at the top of my list at the present. I truly love la Siena because it is a friendly place and very clean, they have a beautiful pool and dining room and I haven’t seen any place that I like it better. If I were ready to move into senior living this is probably the place I would choose. I’m still living in my house and not quite ready for such a big move yet.

It was difficult for me at first. Moving from a home, back to an an apartment. I can say the staff are young people who care for the residents with their kind daily greetings and help getting situated and moving around the complex. My apartment is clean and the cleaning service is very good. I think the only negative I have for this place is that the food is served in small portions and at times is not very palatable. It changes everyday and at times seems to improve but if you asked any resident here, and I have, their remark would be that it is not as good as a year ago. I'm sure the reason for this is the higher costs for food but I'm not overly impressed with their head chef either, who is not very approachable All in all, I would give Siena a 4.1 on a 5 scale and can only hope the food improves during my stay. Very nice and comfortable place. Everything seems in tip top shape. People seem friendly. Great person who took us to visit. My biggest concern is there are only 2 levels of care, which means if i get sicker, I will have to move to a different facility. Not sure I like that. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

I am half-way into my second year of living at La Siena and I've learned a lot. The staff is smart, kind and helpful and residents are welcoming. But it’s how it we all mix together that makes La Siena a special place to live. I have already found my favorite activitypool. I’ll never be a shark, but i keep trying. No place is perfect, there are danger's - ice cream is always available and the desserts are delicious. Throw away the scale!

My father lived at La Siena for many years and passed away last month at the age of 89. Despite occasional gripes because nothing is perfect, he loved it there. He actually moved from his home into another assisted living facility first, but after a relatively short time he made the move to La Siena and was much happier. He always said that in many ways, his time at La Siena was one of the best chapters in his life. Like being on a cruise ship but without the crowding or seasickness. Now that he's passed, La Siena director Jonathan has been a great help to me settling things, so I can personally give La Siena my highest compliments as well. When the time comes for me to make this move, La Siena will be the first place I look.

The moment we walked into the lobby at La Siena, I knew that this was the right fit for me. The lobby was open and spacious and beautifully decorated including lovely artwork on the walls. Both staff and residents were smiling and welcoming . The apartments are spacious and include a full kitchen. La Siena offers a variety of exercise programs for all levels, PT, bi-weekly happy hours and arts and crafts.

When I arrived at La Siena I was pretty low in the water. I had lost my wife, and had traveled across the country from Pennsylvania to Arizona to be near the bulk of my family. I knew no one here. I spent the first several months dining alone, healing. Then gradually, I began to introduce myself to others, and soon found myself being asked to join them at dinner. The more I got to know other residents the better I felt. Today, I find myself quite busy. Between exercise classes, card games, happy hours, movies, and lectures I find myself so busy that time whizzes by. I now know a large majority of the residents and have made some very good friends. This would easily get a 5-star review, except for the price, which is WAY out of our range. The physical environment is beautiful and comfortable, the food in the dining room is excellent, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The apartments have adequate space and storage, they are attractively designed, and they all seem to have balconies or patios. We would move in tomorrow if we had a ton of money, but...

The staff who run La Sienna really care. There are many activities which make it easy to meet people and make friends. The assisted rooms could be more ADA-friendly and the elevator needs to work properly.

Im very happy to be here. It's a wonderful place to live. My one complaint is the food. For what I'm able to do the activities are good.I enjoy the Happy Hours and entertainment is really great. The staff here are all excellent.

This place is a hidden gem. Right off Northern you'd never guess the beautiful environment past the long drive. The people are kind, they always remember my name and are always smiling. The people that live there are always doing something fun when I pass by, playing pool, poker, cards, or just relaxing with a movie in the theater. I love that they partner with therapists on site that can do therapy in the gym. The director Jonathan knows every person in the building and the nursing team Sherrie and Fernando genuinely care about every person there. I trust them to do an amazing job and this place feels like family to me.

The Saturday event was very nice and entertaining. The sweet potato gelato was fantastic!! I did the tour of the facility plus the one and two bedroom units- very nice. I will keep your facility in mind as I get closer to making my decision. Jonathan was very nice and extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of the facility and answered my specific questions. La Siena is a wonderful place for senior living. My parents moved in in April of 2022 and quickly settled into the community. My Mom was on assisted living and Dad independent. They immersed themselves in the activities and developed deep friendships with the residents and staff alike. I was pleased they chose La Siena to live and we had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this choice for senior living.

We LOVE La Siena! My Dad moved in in July 2023 and even though it’s been a short time, I can honestly say that they have done a phenomenal job in providing services for my dad. Prior to moving to La Sienna he lived in his own home, and since he no longer drove, it was very difficult for him to be social with people. Now being at La Sienna, he is able to connect and do things with people and to be social once again! The food is outstanding and the staff are extremely kind and caring to those they serve. I would highly recommend this facility to others, you will not be disappointed to have your loved ones stay in this facility.

My elderly parents - ages 99 and 100 - recently moved to La Siena after living in another senior living community in the Valley. From the moment they arrived, they have been greeted with open arms and warm hearts. The staff are friendly and caring, the facility is lovely, the activities are varied and plentiful and the apartments are spacious. They are always treated with dignity and respect. And, even at their advanced age, my parents have met some wonderful people who have become good friends in just a matter of months. We are confident we made the right choice with La Siena!

After touring about three assisted living places in the Phoenix area our family chose La Siena. From the very first encounter, we experienced a wonderful, caring staff. Our mother moved in about a year ago and we were so pleased she was here with all the amenities and the staff. We became close to many, including some of the residents. Jonathan, the director, is superb. Thank you La Siena.

It is a 5 star luxury facility. Above and beyond service and care. A spa, Nail Salon, full therapy room with therapists. And the feed you 3 meals a day which are excellent. Also have house keeping, 24 hour nursing. Emergency pendants. Yes the price is high but it's a nice place if you can afford it. It's a Ritz compared to a Hilton.

I cannot believe the terrible reviews listed above. I have found living here to be the best decision we could have made. We moved in Jan 24th and unfortunately the covid virus made it necessary for the director and corporate to make tough decisions to keep our vulnerable population safe and engaged. They have done that in many remarkable ways. It would be nice to be served and eat in the dining room with our new friends but it can't be that way. It would be nice to have many of the interactive events active again. But the staff from the young people who serve our meals to our rooms, to maintenance, transportation and housekeeping are consistently thoughtful, kind, eager to please and always with a smile. After five months we are still restricted in what we can do but the activities department is constantly planning new activities to keep us occupied. `I look forward to a more reasonable time but will wait until it is wise to do so.
