if looking at memory unit or assisted living THIS IS the place to be!! We had to move my parents THREE times before we moved them to BV Southriver. Mary, Pam and Brooke are WONDERFUL and attentive supervisors. EVERY staff member is high quality. Don't make the mistakes we made, MOVE HERE.

Both of my parents have been in Brightview South River for over a year. My dear Mom passed there; my dad remains. My siblings and I have visited frequently, usually 6 or more times per week. All 5 of us are extremely impressed with the staff at Brightview South River: their kindness, patience, using the names of the residents. Brooke Kelly, who runs the facility, Mary, who is in charge of Wellspring Memory Care, have both been wonderful, as has Barbara, helping with activities, Caleb, singing with his guitar, Kaylee, Tracy… I couldn't name them all or it would be too long. I have likened the staff to Disney World employees, ALWAYS kind, gracious, loving. We moved my parents because we were extremely UNHAPPY with their previous memory care; this has been an incredible, wonderful change. Even my mom, poor memory as she had, said, These are nice people and you can tell they MEAN it! Thank you, Brightview!!

Brightview is located in the heart of everything, the facility is clean, well kept, and the staff is friendly. My loved one was a resident of the memory care unit (wellspring). Staff is loving and attentive. Food is prepared in a central kitchen and is excellent. Each day has planned activities which are posted. Special theme events are planned in detail with associated cuisine. Entertainment occurs on a regular basis and is professional. Free access to an adjacent enclosed, secure garden, weather permitting. Planned excursions are available for public events, restaurants, cruises, etc. The facility is well maintained and clean. Our family is well pleased.

Stephanie is amazing! She has made the difficult transition for my loved one feel almost fun. They encourage family to participate. And, I am not kidding, the staff is always smiling, calm, seemingly happy. It feels more like a fun hotel than a home.

Mom has been at Brightview for almost 5 years. Throughout all of her time there she has maintained that this is the best decision we ever made. With that as my baseline, I also agree. As Moms needs have shifted and her personality has adjusted to those new needs, I have found the staff to carry on with a smile and great humor (helping me to cope). They care and they follow through with love and creative solutions to our needs. COVID-19 hasnt even slowed them down in their quest to care for everyone there. They are a blessing!

I cannot say enough positive things about Brightview South River. From the very beginning, before my mom had signed an agreement, the entire staff was kind, helpful, and generous. It is evident that truly everyone there has a calling to take care of your loved one. All throughout the COVID 10 pandemic the entire Brightview family did all they could to keep the residents healthy and happy. They recognized not only the physical health needs but also the emotion needs and have done an amazing job to keep the resident healthy AND happy. Thank you, God, for Brightview South River.

My inlaw has nice space and physical care generally good. Resident is shy and the caregiver people don't talk much, so has no companionship from people who just rush in to do what is needed, particularly now because residents cannot leave to mix with other residents. Eats like a bird but food delivered is worse than it was in dining room and not temperature controlled. To sum up, not as happy there as when first moved in.

My aunt Edith moved into Brightview South River after she had suffered a broken hip and couldnt return to her home. She was 96 at the time. The staff at Brightview treated her so well she blossomed and thrived . She just passed away at the age of 99 outliving the doctors predictions by almost 2 years and I believe it was because how the staff had taken such great care of her. I also enjoyed my visits to Brightview so much that I plan to continue to go back and visit all my new friends that I have made while visiting my aunt.

Everything is wonderful here. The staff is so helpful in every aspect. Always willing to go the extra mile. They have saved my Mother twice by in the few months she has been there by being alert and attentive. They truly care about residents. Mom loves the food. When visiting, everyone is welcoming and the residents all seem happy. Property is well maintained and kept clean.

Brightview South River was a wonderful place that brought my mother happiness. Their staff was excellent and providing her assistance with daily living and making her feel welcome and at home. They are friendly, outgoing, caring people who provide the utmost of care for those who live there. The residents were warm and welcoming, she made friendships and found connections. They provide activities for everyone and a safe, warm environment for the residents to thrive in. It was the best decision we made in our mothers care. It brought her happiness and it gave us peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. Thank you.

My husband and I just came from the Wellspring Village Unit in South River. This was a WOW experience for us to see how caring and loving every one is. We were even asked if we would like to have lunch with our precious friend!! It was really good food too! (One of the male residents said Its always good like that. ) It was our friends first day there and the staff came up and introduced themselves making her feel so comfortable. The staff were so kind and maintained our friends dignity and encouraged her through fear. I know this is the perfect spot for my precious friend and her care. All the staff were eager to meet us as well and I wish I remembered all their names. In particular I want to say thanks to Jen, Mary and David as I thank all of you. You are awesome!

My mother lived here for six months in assisted living. This facility is very clean, the staff always have a smile on their faces and go above and beyond to help in difficult situations. Lots of activities provided for the residents, full library, happy hour, you name it. The staff saved my mother's life twice. One of the RNs by the name of Sandra, works nights/weekends and she is just awesome. Also, Suzie Lewis the Healthcare Director I think, went above and beyond to help me find more resources for my mom when she began to need more involved care.

Brightview South River was a godsend to my mother. She didn't like the idea and was not going to move on her own but she settled in because of the love and support of the excellent care there. The staff are wonderful and they helped mom love it and call it home.

Their people's attitudes are the best thing about BrightView South River. They make sure to remember everyone's names right away even family members that visit. Genial Attitudes. Consistantly great food. Clean and has a lot of interesting activities for most anyone living there scheduled and unscheduled. They have been wonderful about learning everything about medical background and interests to make the transistion immediately correct. They varify all questions with our personal physician too. Rental prices have been very reasonable for everything that is offered.
