Our mom had been a resident at Enclave of Newell Creek in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Mentor, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. The staff is friendly, caring, and professional, and they truly took great care of our mom. We were so happy to find such a wonderful, safe, and clean place for her. Every time our family visited, everyone was kind and welcoming. It meant so much to know she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared. They offer activities for the residents and many fun things that keep everyone engaged and connected. The team goes above and beyond for the residents every day. A special shout-out to Walter, the nurses and all the caregivers for the compassion and dedication they showed. Our family highly recommends Enclave of Newell Creek!

We toured the Memory Care unit for my mother. It's a larger memory care with a lot of space. The other Memory Care's we went to were just a small hallway, here my mother can have lots of space to walk and not feel so locked in. The staff were all busy helping residents, which again at the other places we say people just sitting around. We can definitely see our mother being taken care of here not just her care needs but also having other people that are like her and able to have conversations with her.

Truly is a wonderful place. The building is well maintained and the maintenance/housekeeping team are great! The directors are often seen out and about helping around as a team. It is evident that they work well together. The caregivers and nurses work very hard to ensure that care is provided to everyone. The Director of Nursing takes time with the residents and appears to engage with them often. I can’t speak highly enough about the team at The Enclave and the effort they put into making it a great community for our seniors.

My mother has been a resident at this facility in the memory care unit for almost 3 years. We have been completely satisfied with all aspects of her care. She is always happy, clean and well interacted with. The staff is extremely attentive to her and her needs.. my mom is fairly involved in the daily activities and the recreation activities are well thought out and appropriate. Nursing care has been wonderful. If a need arises that we need addressed it is quickly remedied management additionally has addressed the few concerns we have had without delay. All employees in this facility are happy and welcoming. And it really does feel like home. I feel we were blessed when I happened upon this facility and received a tour within minutes of my walking in the door. If you are in need of a place to call home for your loved one I would certainly consider the Enclave.

The family Thanksgiving event was wonderful!!! As is all the events the Enclave puts on. Everyone is so hospitable. It was so nice to be able to get the whole family together with mom for a Thanksgiving meal. We haven't been able to do that for about 30 years. The food was great and a good time was had by all! Too many Agency people. Would like to see more consistency amongst caregivers. However, the Facility is clean and most are friendly. The food can be improved. It’s okay but no much variety and it’s bland.

I am so grateful to have The Enclave community here in Lake County. I have had the opportunity to spend time with a close friend here for over two years, and have observed the skilled staff and professional environment consistently. The Enclave is warm and welcoming, with many cozy indoor and outdoor areas that invite social gatherings and activities. All of the Team members - Concierge, Nursing, Caregivers, Housekeeping, Dining, Maintenance, Life Enrichment - and the Directors, are very engaged with the Residents and are always visible throughout the Community. This past year I researched and toured 13 individual Assisted Living Communities in Lake County, as I was preparing to move my Mom from her home in Florida to be close to our Family in Ohio. Many appeared polished and professional, but none compared to The Enclave when I was talking with them about details and the needs I wanted to meet for my Mom. The Enclave Team Members truly have heart in addition to their knowledge and skills. They have built an energetic, happy, loving home for their Residents and Families. The Enclave also provides the most comfortable, safe and beautiful outdoor space for their Residents to thrive in, in comparison to the neighboring Communities I visited. The outdoor space provides excellent exercise and relaxation options, encouraging good health and bringing joy to everyone! My Mom is embracing every opportunity here in her new home. The Enclave is a blessing to our Family!

My mother lived at Enclave for a short while before passing. We could not have found a better place for her. She loved the beautiful environment and good meals, and quickly made new friends. I loved how caring and attentive all the staff are. I highly recommend Enclave for anyone that can no longer live on their own.

My mother has been cared for by the staff at The Enclave of Newell Creek for over a year now. This assisted living home stood out above other places in the area. I’m especially impressed with the staff. The nurses, cafeteria workers and business office workers have been pleasant and willing to accommodate special situations. I feel grateful we found the Enclave of Newell Creek when my mom needed care post-surgery from a broken hip.

Assisted living facilities are not the same as a nursing home. Help is provided for daily necessities by care givers. The care givers are kind and provide help on an as needed basis. At Enclave of Newell Creek. the Director of Memory Care, Kristen, addresses concerns brought to her in a timely manner. Each resident may have different needs and adjustments can be made accordingly. Compassion and caring seems to be true of all the levels of staff members.

My mother has been a resident since 2014. She feels comfortable, safe and loved...and now refers to her apartment as home. In an industry with high turnover, they seem to have created magic in the last few years to hire and retain top notch people with a true customer service attitude. I could highlight many names but honestly the entire care, dining, maintenance, activity and office staff deserve praise for helping and honoring residents. My friend, and loved one is receiving excellent care at Enclave. All of the staff are extremely friendly and greet her by name. The nursing staff and physical therapy folks are terrific. Nurse Chris Has been especially helpful along the journey of settling my friend in and ensuring to her health. She enjoys the activities. The place is always very clean, and I feel that the care has been exceptional.

My wife ,Karen Zeoli , has been at the Enclave for 3 1/2 years . The upper management and the nurses and aids , have been very cooperative and helpful to me and my family . During COVID , it was very challenging for them and us . The staff was very professional and did the best they could . We had some concerns over this time , and was frustrating , especially with her clothes . Also with her chair . The staff always would find a way to correct the problem . They keep in touch , and up to date with the progress. The rooms and dining area are being maintained very well . Now , remodeling is being done , and is starting to look very good . Complaints can be made about what we have to pay per month , but it is worth it . Karen is well liked , and gets a lot of attention . That makes me happy . My Grandmother was a resident at the Enclave. Her room was always clean. The staff was always kind and understanding when it came to caring for her. For someplace that wasn't "home", she was able to be comfortable and cared for. Staff seemed more like family the longer her stay ’

Was hired to "enrich the lives of those I serve". Loved those sweet folks with all my heart. Made them feel loved, valued and cherished. Reminded each resident how special they are on a daily basis. My priorities: Ensuring all my residents' physical and emotional needs were properly cared for. Priorities of my supervisor for me: Washing and sorting through laundry, rearranging the closets and dresser drawers in all the apartments, and damage control. What had once been a vibrant and thriving community has now become a sinking ship. Upper management have lost their vision and the community is quickly unraveling. The pandemic and staffing crisis have transformed the Enclave into something now unrecognizable. While the Directors have held it together to the best of their ability, it is the front line workers who are the true heroes. The unrealistic expectations of the new Executive Director are impossible for staff to achieve and will be the continuing demise of this community. Very disheartened by the ease of discarding dedicated staff like trash after they have given years of their heart and soul for the benefit of the residents. The 2 stars are for the caregivers, primarily the Memory Care caregivers, who continue trying to meet the expectations of a new Executive Director who will never be satisfied, always want more, and use them until they are depleted from exhaustion, only to be discarded like the others before them.

We had to make the heart wrenching decision to place our mother in an assisted living facility earlier this year. No family ever wants to have to make that decision, but such is life. We had no idea where to turn, how to judge a facility if its good enough or not, costs, anything. When we looked at several places, one stood out beyond any other: the Enclave of Newell Creek. The staff, nurses, and general facilities are top notch. The one on one care we have seen given to our mother, especially by her nurse Kathy, is truly heaven sent. This difficult decision was truly the right one to make. Our family feels like now staff at Newell Creek is family. They care for our mother and treat her like one of her own. I cannot recommend this amazing establishment enough.

Great place. Looked at many options for my mom and Atria is by far the best. The staff truly loves what they do. You feel it when you walk in the door. So many independent residents. I saw a happy hour on Friday and the place was packed!

We could not be happier with Atria Newell Creek. The facility is clean, bright and cheery. The entire staff, from the executive director to the nurses, aides and maintenance are wonderful caring and very accommodating to my mother and our family. They put the residents first above all. The phrase, the customer is always right is one they believe in. If something is needed or needs to be corrected the staff sees to it that it is done quickly and professionally. The food is top notch and there are plenty of activities for everyone. It has the feel of being on a luxury cruise ship.

I guided my Mom to this facility in December of 2014. The building interior is beautiful, however we have had numerous problems with the quality of care they are providing. Rude staff, Incompetence in administering medicines, rough handling of my Mom physically and other incidents. I have voiced my concerns to the Executive Director and the primary response is to defend themselves. Somebody once told me that an assisted living facility is 25% building and 75% people and I completely agree. This facility has the ratios reversed.
