My beloved father just spent the last twenty-two months of his life with Annie and Mario (and their college-age daughter , Ashley) in this home. Anytime the people who care for your loved ones view that care as a vocation and not a job, you know you are going to be happy. With few residents, there was time for everyone to have their specific needs attended. My dad was so happy there, and I could find no fault with the care he received. Coming from his caretaker of 11 1/2 years, that is no small compliment. He was always barbered, shaved, well-dressed, and spoken to with love and caring. They exercised with him, played music for him, and treated him like a much-loved father or grandfather. Holidays are beautifully celebrated, and so are birthdays in this home. The food is amazing, especially on holidays when there is always lots and lots. My dad passed away at age 97 last month. His end-of-life care was absolutely stellar. I am so happy he spent his days with people he could love and who loved him. Need I say it? I, too, love these people, and will always be grateful for the happy memories they gave us at the end of Dad's life. CHOOSE THIS HOUSE FOR AFFORDABLE, LOVING, PERSONAL CARE1

My mother was a resident here for nearly two years. She had limited mobility and this facility is all on one floor so she could use her walker and get around easily. There were only six residents so the care was very personal and oriented to individual needs and preferences. She had a room with her own bathroom, which she appreciated. We were encouraged to visit and were always pleased with how they treated each resident. Older people can be challenging and they adapt very well. Their concern for the elderly is more a calling than a job. They made adaptations for diet and habits. We never regretted having her there and, in fact, considered it a special blessing. LOVE THE STAFF!!

My mother just passed away last month after living four years at Crystal Gardens II, on Gresham St. She was treated like a member of the family from the moment she arrived. She had dementia and came to Crystal Gardens from a large beautiful assisted living environment. Her care was outstanding right to the end of her life. She was always dressed, her hair was done and her jewelry was on, everyday! She was never sick. I never worried about her care. Please dont miss out on this jewel in North Springfield! Check it out if you are looking for a place for your parents or a loved one! Thank you for the love and care all the way to the end of my mothers life!
