My brother has dementia. I placed him at The Grove at Oak Ridge not knowing what to expect. I can truly say that everyone there has been wonderful. They are all very kind & caring caregivers. Just a few of the wonderful ones are, Maria, Joyce, Beverly, ( don’t know which spelling but Kris, Chris, he works in the memory care area), the person that cuts hair. They have all been so wonderful in taking care of him. The facility is beautiful & clean. I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. I am thankful to the staff for letting him have as much coffee as he wants. Again, forever grateful.

As an outside provider coming in, I can you that staff has been nothing other than welcoming. One of the easiest facility’s to work with, and plan things with. They are always willing to help out in anyway. The atmosphere is that of a big family, you can tell they care about everyone coming and going! Especially the residents who live there. Very thankful for Ashlyn and Kris, their communication and support is unmatched! Highly recommend!

We cannot provide any stars at this time. My mother was at this facility, which has a competitive and cutthroat environment marked by cliques among managers. Employees often face termination based on hearsay, without a fair chance to defend themselves or any supporting evidence, like video footage. John Langley is an excellent cook, and Samantha, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Memory Care, should be the Memory Care Coordinator due to her consistent excellence. Unfortunately, the Executive Director is biased and leads the clique in the building. Residents only receive baths twice a week from a dedicated team. The organization struggles with employee retention and often blames them for issues beyond their control. I recently moved my mother out after she befriended the then Life Director, who was dedicated and caring towards residents but was fired based on rumors. It's unacceptable!

My sister is at The Grove and I can not express enough hiw happy I have been with her care. Everyone, Has been so good to her. Maria, Melissa, Joyce welcoming you when you come in, April and all those in therapy who work with her, All the RA's have been great, Jenna, Candy, Betty, Johnny, and the Kitchen staff is wonderful as well!! It's ways clean, always someone to answer questions I may have..I truly have no complaints. A wonderful environment and caring staff. I like seeing the same faces, as I'm sure is comforting for the residents. Thank you to all the staff at The Grove!!!

My husband has been a resident at the Groves for almost 4 months and I'm very pleased with his care. I received a lot of support from the staff at the time of his admittance and still experience the same. He is treated with kindness and respect and the staff genuinely care about him. . Everyone there works well together and seems to enjoy their job. There are a lot of activities and outings and he really enjoys his meals. I enjoy visiting him there and I'm comfortable inviting friends and family there to see him. I'm glad that my husband is in such good hands at the Groves.

The staff at the groves has been nothing but amazing! It is a beautiful place for my mama to live and I love seeing her smile again. Memory care is hard for everyone, but she has made a friend resident already and going on outings. Not all facilities are created equal, so do your research and thorough inspection visits before placing your family member. I think you will love the groves too!

I cant say enough about this facility and staff. Maria, Jo, Sophia, Brent, Seth,, executive director and so many other contributed to a smooth transition for my dad. He is battling stage 4 cancer and needs to enjoy every moment. This place offers everything amenities, caring and compassionate staff, and cleanness every longterm facility should provide. They greeted him with open arms and warmth. They all go above and beyond. Jo even went out of her way to make sure his discharge from another facility happend when unexpected things occurred. Maria did as well. I cant wait for him to enjoy the best care for his time he has remaining. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. Every single person here is extremely friendly and treats their residents like gold. I feel immediately at home and welcome every time I visit. The Groves is ALWAYS clean and smells nice. The attention to detail from the staff is above and beyond. Jo makes sure my Moms medical needs are always met, Melissa is always available to answer any questions, Laura always makes sure there are fun activities, Brent makes sure the facility is always in a good state of repair, Chris makes sure everything is safe. Residents are encouraged to be involved and outings occur every week. If I had to be in a facility this is the one I would choose for myself!

I sold my home in Oak Ridge in May of 2021 as I no longer needed a large due to my wife's passing. Not wanting another, smaller home and the expense that goes along with it I thoroughly investigated all of the Assisted Living facilities in East Oak Ridge and ultimately chose The Groves due to the location, excellent meals, 24/7 nursing care, an excellent Life Enrichment Coordinator that provides residents with lots of activities and a highly professional staff. I lived there for 1.5 years until I elected to move to Colorado. After deciding that Colorado was not for me after 2 months, I elected to move back to The Groves in March of 2022 as I already knew what to expect there. I highly recommend the Groves if you are looking for a facility for yourself of a loved one. I promise you that you cannot find a better facility.

You know I never usually do this but I just can’t leave this unsaid. After living with stress about my sweet old grandmother and looking high and low just trying to find somewhere that she was treated with the upmost respect when we came across the groves I was just left speechless. First of all, from the moment we set foot in the building it felt like a weight lifted off our families shoulders. We continue to regularly check in on her but I can say that I can sleep at night knowing she is in the best hands! Thank you to all the staff at the Groves! Keep being shining stars!

By far one of the best facilities I have found! If you need someone to look after your loved ones, this is the place. I was walked through the process and felt so comfortable the whole way. My mother spent the last two years of her life at the Groves of Oak Ridge. I could not have asked for a better home for her. Their staff is what makes all of the difference. From the first day she moved in, until her last day with us, my mother was treated most respectfully and lovingly. My mother enjoyed the activities of the social directors in both the assisted living and the memory care. Laura and Ashlyn are a great team and they provided much creative stimulation and fun! The daily caregivers were attentive and kind. The nursing staff is knowledgeable and responsive. The entire administrative staff is truly wonderful to work with always. We Love The Groves at Oak Ridge!

The Groves has just completed some remodeling and is now redecorating! Looking great!! The staff is so friendly and takes great care of the residents. We are so happy with how The Groves staff has taken care of our Grandmother! It's been such a tough year because of Covid (and not being able to visit when we want and get a hug), but we see how careful they are being, and we appreciate it so much! Mimi is very happy there, and said that if she had to be quarantined and away from family, that she couldn't think of a better place than the Groves. She said she has felt "safe" there. That means a lot to us. Big SHOUT OUTS to Lynn, Connie, Laura, Ashlyn and Mandy for always going the extra mile! Thank you!
