This has been my home for 15 years. I came here recovering from a physical breakdown. From the minute I moved in I began to improve. It has taken a while but I am now fully mobile and able to live quite independently. Twice my life has been saved by the staff. Our director, Brandi and the most of the staff are so committed to our wellbeing. Most of all my life is peaceful, no stress and I wake up every day glad I live here. We have a new dining director and our food has been so good. In fact I really at this point in my life would rather live here than anywhere. All my needs are taken care of. Of course I go to my doctor appts regularly and follow my health plan which is absolutely necessary for anyone to be at their best. They see that I am well off and cared for. Sure it isn't the Taj Mahal, but it is wonderful.

This place has earned another horrid review from me I went out today and while I was gone a number of things were taken from my room a vacuum cleaner someone had given me when I have a place of my own again several homemade Christmas ornaments someone had given me my jar with dried herbs in it and also along that line I haven't received my Seahawk t-shirt Mariner t-shirt and my nightshirt from laundry that were taken months ago every time I ask about any about things like this I get treated very rudely I wish King county or the state of Washington would close this place down

This place is so unbelievably horrid I get out of here every single day for as many hours a day as I can in order to be able to handle having to exist in this place when I had my own home I was there less hours than I am here in the horrid hello place I dispense my own meds in order to refills on them and I have trouble getting them from the staff cuz it comes to the basic location here they have trouble giving them to me even though my primary care doctor signed off on me dispensing my own meds and ordering refills on them I also get my vitamin mineral and herbal supplements and my omegas when I'm out and about at super supplements which is now known as The vitamin shoppe because I get better value on them than through the pharmacy I can't get these people to do even a mediocre job here it is so horrible to have to exist here I get out of here every single day and I'm gone all day long every day by public transportation and come back here to shower and sleep I also can't seem to get my clothes back I got most of them back and I should be happy with this but they took the clothes from my room and there's a few pieces of clothing that they haven't returned to me I think behavior like this is completely unacceptable and this place needs to be closed down as soon as possible by King county or the state of Washington

Just want to say I have a very close relative here at Greenlake. There has been a long history of needing care at other care centers throughout these past 20 years, and believe me, Greenlake has been extremely good . The reports from my relative are that: " the food is very good, rooms are private, laundry gets done as does housekeeping. It's ok to walk outside, patient staff is always visible, and helpful." After my many visits ( without ever announcing that I am coming), I have to agree with the reports from my relative. There are a lot of good people who both work and live at Greenlake and I appreciate this place and wish there more places like this.

I think I'm very generous in giving this place a one-star review it is truly a horrid hell hole place to exist in I'm one of the poor victims who exists here the food is pretty horrible I'm able to go all over King county on my ORCA card and try to get out of here as many hours of the day as I can in order to be able to handle having to exist in this horrid hell hole place I'm working on moving out back to Independent living because there's no reason for this horrid hell hole place to be taking as much money as they are from me but in the meantime I would love for this place to be permanently shut down I think it would be better for everyone here I know that King county and the state of Washington would have that power to get this place closed permanently and that would be a great thing I think that's it for now

Its bad enough that a remote control cannot be kept on floor #3, the bigger problem is that no one here gives a damn. Very disappointing experience here.

Shame on the King County Health dept., for allowing Green Lake to go unchecked!!!

This place is a dump! Always staffing problems five new directors in one year! Bed bugs in one third of units! No activity person so no activities! I'm outta here!

I love the community, as I’ve been a resident for 8+ years, but wish that the management would make better organizational choices. I appreciate the maintenance crew, but the dining room/kitchen and meal planning need some adjustments. The staff works here, but myself and 100 other people Live here.

I might be a little partial since I work here, but this place is continuously working towards being better. Residents seem happy with the new activities director, she has constant things going for them. The kitchen has multiple choices prepared for each meal, and residents seem to like what is being offered. I have had nothing but good experiences with cooperate staff and on site staff.

This place is an absolute travesty,Food is cold, hair in it, no following of health dept. requirements etc, And nobody gives a damn,

been tryin' for three days to get a roll of T.P.for my room....... no luck yet. !This place is absolutly pathetic

April 2024

Quite possibly, one of the most poorly run facilities in western Washington. The workers do not care about their job at all, because they are underpaid, (although that is debatable) because they are completely unskilled . They have a shuttle van as advertised, but it rarely runs because they don't have a licensed driver. the management is virtually non existent. DONT PUT SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE !!!

March 2024

Karen

I have a sibling that lives here and Covid is running rapid there... AGAIN. Residents who have it are not wearing masks and the people that are running that place seem to not care, Shame on them, there is residents that have underlying health problems and nobody that runs that place cares. This place is awful and has been for years. Can't believe that this place is still open. It's all about the money... The food they serve is terrible!!! Like I said it's all about the money. No stars if I could. Washington State is called but this place is still running.

I'll write a review after I move out & it won't be good.

Apparently, the 'standard operating procedure' here @ Green Lake, is to wait until a given supply of something (butter, milk,T.P.,etc.) is completely gone, and then to consider ordering more.

November 2023

Samual B.

No meat served for breakfast again ! Just cold eggs (made from a powder!), and colder toast ! Green Lake must be making a killing off these places, as service and food quality is absolutely pathetic.

Green Lake Senior Living Renton, is in desperate need of oversight / managerial upgrade. No one here seems to care about their job whatsoever, and the residents take the brunt of that. Very poor situation. The State of Wa.or King County, should be looking into Green Lake Renton closely.

The Menu / food I have eaten / witnessed is poor at best, and they just plop it on a plate like prison food. No taste, little if any nutition. The workers, who 'I'm sure are being paid minimum wage, Just sleep walk through the day, with the obvious minmal training they may (or may not) have recieved.. There is vertually NO activities' other than the couple the residents have organized them selves.. ONLY send a loved one here if you truly do NOT love them!!!

December 2022

Mike

This has to be one of the most poorly run places i could imagine ! The food is low grade institutional (think prison style). The managers and staff have no clue how to run a care facility or organize/supervise workers , whose distant 2nd language is English. Health code violations are common, and virtually no communication between staff and residents.

Investment is the best way to generate more income for yourself. Trading and investing with a super platform and a trusted account manager Like Mr Billy Mike. I earned a profit of 30%-100% daily and a total of $7,000 after 7 days of successful trading and mining for myself with a minimum investment of $500 in my wallet, I watch my Profit grow daily until I made my withdrawal successfully myself from my wallet and I converted the bitcoin into cash successfully and gave back 15% as commission. Thank you very much Mr Billy Mike for your diligent work. I strongly recommend him. WhatsApp: +1(586)737-5035 Email: Mikeforextrading681gmail.com

My mother lived here for 4 years and was quite comfortable. We highly recommend Providence Elderplace for health care needs. There was one case of bedbugs, but it got rectified right away. The staff is very nice and compassionate.

The staff is friendly, helpful and caring, and the residents are mostly competent and friendly. The medical staff is awesome! My only gripe is that the facility could be more soundproof, or some residents could be better at controlling the volume of their TVs or radios.

Mom is happy because of all of the friends she's made. Another resident we met while visiting isn't too fond of the food. The place seems a bit dated.

I thought that this place was very clean and well maintained by all the staff and residents. They where very welcoming to my dear friend and I and kept things very professional during our visit. I especially liked the menu they had available as well as the activity log they had for the week. It was just not the right fit of location for him. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone interested in an assisted living.

The Brookdale Renton was clean and everyone was very friendly. They did not take my mother because of the level of care that she required, but they helped me out a lot with questions on Medicaid and really appreciated that.

I toured the property and after a personal walk through the community it was not as appealing as to it's sister property and without a doubt I knew the other community was where I wanted to be located.
