My sister in law is a resident at Heartfields. Her and our experience has exceeded our expectations. The staff obviously enjoy working there. They are friendly and caring. My sister in law says the food is "delicious"! The Director, Mary Berry, has been enormously helpful. She runs a great ship! There is a beautiful front porch and enclosed courtyard where you can sit outside and enjoy good weather. on nice days. If you need Assisted Living, check Heartfields out. You will be happy you did.

I think Heartfields does a great job caring for the residents and creating fun activities so they can pick and choose what they want to attend. Nursing staff always looks after my Dad when I am concerned and gives me peace of mind. The meals are tailored to offer variety. They make the best chef salad ever and very fresh. They take pride in cleaning my dad’s room and doing his laundry. The staff is so kind , attentive and caring. They also bring in outside vendors for various events throughout the year and even do benefits for different organizations. The chili cook off just took place and was so much fun with tastings, prizes, bake sake and a live DI. Fun was had by all and it benefitted upper shore special olympics. It really feels like community here and everyone makes you feel at home!

Heartfields is wonderful! The staff is loving and kind. There are lots of activities to keep them busy. The building and grounds are lovely. When my parents first arrived, my 91 year old mom could barely walk from prior spinal injuries. Just a couple of months later she was going to exercise classes, walking the hallways, going to Happy Hour and joining in social activities! I think it saved her life!

I wish I could give HeartFields in Easton more than five stars. From the staff to the facilities, this place is truly wonderful; it's a true community. The people there are kind, attentive and fun. The building is clean, comfortable and very accessible. Since moving my mother in two years ago, I've seen her open up in ways I never imagined - especially at 96. She is filled with joy and love, and I know that is absolutely a result of the team at HeartFields. She's really blossomed here. I am very grateful for finding this place for her and I could not recommend it enough. I should add, their chili cook off is the best event of the year and one not to miss!

Heart Fields Assisted Living is an excellent housing community for loved ones. Heart Fields always has a wide variety of fun, family activities going on. Our parents have been at Heartfields since the end of December 2022. We have been extremely happy with the care and attention they have been given. The staff will call us if there is ever anything to share healthwise; they are ON IT. The food is very good with a soup of the day every day! They held a chili cookoff recently to raise money for Special Olympics. There were over 13 chilis to choose from, some great music to listen and dance to - a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend Heartfields for an aging family member who may not be quite as independent as he/she used to be.

The staff at Heartfields go above and beyond every day for my Dad. I have witnessed themed birthday parties, Grandparents Day, Veterans Day acknowledgements, and Holiday gatherings all where the staff participates with the families. It is truly heartwarming. I have joined my Dad for a meal on several occasions and it is always delicious. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Plus, Happy Hour and the entertainment never disappoints. It is comforting to know that he has assistance close by when he needs it, which takes a lot of pressure off of my siblings and I.

I moved my parents to Heartfields from a facility on the Western Shore. Mom has since passed away, but Daddy, at 102 years young, is still at Heartfields. He absolutely loves it there and has wonderful comments about all of the staff. To me, the facility is the best decision I ever made...it is clean, friendly, pleasant, and cheerful. The staff is 100% helpful in ALL areas. There is always a nurse(s) on duty and the in house doctor is very good and attentive. Check out the meals...they are top notch!! Heartfields is home!!

From our first encounter with Heartfields at Easton in 2016, we were encouraged that we had found a very caring community for our uncle. Melissa Boudrie, the marketing director, later told us that our uncle was her first admission at her new job. Because we were bringing him from the Midwest to Easton, we needed some special accommodations: the room needed to be furnished with at least a bed and essentials, and an after-hours arrival was necessary. Without exception and very generously, Melissa took care of everything down to the last detail, even hanging the towels in the bathroom herself. In the intervening years, we were further encouraged by the loving care that we observed in all the staff, from the front desk to the nurse, the doctor, the housekeepers, the aides, chef, cooks, and activity director. It was clear that the staff viewed their roles as more than just a job. That devotion was even more evident when our uncle passed away in the midst of a pandemic from natural causes. Our uncle was well cared for in his last hours, and Melissa and Vivian packed his belongings for us to pick up curbside. The fact that none of the residents contracted the virus in the first seven months of 2020 is a testament to the protocols that were established and followed by the administration and staff of Heartfields at Easton. Their use of virtual and social distance meetings between residents and their families were especially appreciated in that difficult time. Where do I even begin. Never in a million years would I have thought that we would not be able to care for our father! Then that time came and it was not safe or fair for him to stay at home by himself. Our home was not conducive for him to come with us and so we started our search! While there were other great places from the outside, only one separated themselves from the rest. Heartfields lived and lives up to their name and that is Heart! The staff are not just staff. They love their residence and make their lives wonderful and show joy and love! Can I just say that I love the staff! Many have become my friends.. Sallie, Vivian, Regina, Jan, Melissa, Justina, Olivia, Carrie, and too many that I cannot remember their names at the moment but if I gave it time their names would come to me. Your love never went in noticed and you were not only a support to my Dad, his companion, but also to me and my family. You are not only friends but also family now! As a back note my Dad came in pretty sick and also dying, but your all rose to the occasion and loved and cared well! I cried on many of your shoulders and that meant the world to me. Than my Dad got better for a season and he also felt the love and care, from foot massages and spa baths, companionship and love. He loved his time there! After 9 great month, things changed and you still rose to the occasion, with food for us, a crying shoulder, and coming to love on our Dad until his final breath. Thank you seems like a word not worth enough for all you have done for my Dad and us! When we wanted to do our visitation there you were thrilled and provided time, cookies, drinks and my Dad’s favorite ice cream. Over and above is all I can say! The residence also were amazing and also have been a great support to my Dad and is. I have so many new friends and even though my Dad is in a better place, I will continue to visit my friend there as they are now my family! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

My in-laws resided at Heartfields of Easton for approximately one year. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff is second to none. While everyone that I dealt with at Heartfields was caring, helpful, and professional, there are three notable staff members (Kelly Johnson, Executive Director - Michelle Friend, Business Office Manager - Melissa Boudrie, Director of Sales and Marketing) that I had the most interaction with and they deserve accolades for the incredible level of service that we experienced. I have had wonderful experiences with Heartfields of Easton. My great aunt lived there for several years and was treated by various devoted nurses and other staff that were dedicated to ensuring her best care. My family received Christmas cards with her picture and were always invited to join the community for holidays. When my grandmother lived there some years later, the current executive director had just joined the community. She was very supportive and kind when her arrival coincided with my grandmother’s passing. She spoke with me in her office for a very long time and even accompanied me to visit with her one last time. I would recommend Heartfields to anyone looking to help with their loved one’s transition to an excellent senior living establishment.

I toured Heartfields with my father-in-law about a month ago. He is one of those people who has a big heart, but he doesn’t always let you see it (And don’t watch the news with him) : ) Anyway, we were going through the facility (I was asking a million questions), and the place has everything “ caring staff, good food, nice residents, etc. But the thing that made him beam, and say to me, This place is for me! was when a lady (Vivian, I think) came over and wrapped her welcoming, loving arms around him. It surprised him, but I wish I took a picture, because he has no idea just how happy and handsome he looked!

When your parents can no longer take care of themselves with their daily care, it is so difficult to find a new home for them where they will be taken care of and you will not have to worry about them. Eight years ago my dad passed away, and we had to find a place for my mom , Trudy Lang, to live. We looked at places in Easton and felt Heartfields was the best fit for her. It was very emotionally frustrating in the beginning because mom wanted to go home. After she got to know the other residents and the people who worked at Heartfields, her heart was won over and she settled into a life of genuine loving care from the caregivers. She is now 97 years old and spends her days in a wheelchair but truthfully mom is never in her room during the mornings. They take her to activities, meals and anything that is going on that day. What words can I use to grab your attention and make you understand what amazing, loving, tender care your loved one will receive 24/7 at Heartfields. Genuine care from the heart. When I go to visit, mom is always neat and clean, her room is always clean and she always has a smile on her face. If there is every a medical issue, a nurse calls me immediately so I know what is going on. All day mom receives hugs of love from the caregivers which is what her heart needs at this time in her life. Mom loves her Lord, her family and friends and the people at Heartfields. What more can I say? I used to worry about her but no more because I know that my mom is getting better care than I could every give her. Heartfields Assisted Living and Dementia Facility is second to none! I travelled far & wide to find the BEST for our Nana and Heartfields in Easton MD was and still is unsurpassed! The tasteful and classy decor add to the warm ambiance. The amazing high level restaurant meals are consistent. The bright colors in BTR and attention to detail throughout lift up spirits! And best of all is the staff. Sally Twinam in BTR, Chef Steve, Patti the nurse & the compassionate, professional, wise, well trained and intuitive under-staff are excellent. Their respectful, genuine and honest ways are refreshing and highly effective in accomplishing superior care, ensuring well being for Nana and bring joys to her heart, as well as to each resident, and mine, too! Nana has been there for years, they handle situations openly, directly and with accurate care. I can’t rate them any more highly. If you need a Great place, you have found it at Heartfields. In May 2017 Chef Steve had left and the meals were not good. I don't want to explain it all. However, now in January 2018, BJ and Frisby have consistently been preparing Excellent, tasty, creative, "made from scratch", wholesome, healthy, abundant, beautiful presentation, wide variety and colorful meals like we were all used to! Congratulations to Heartfields for keeping their TOP standards for caring for each and every resident!

I have had the opportunity to visit most of the managed care facilities in the Easton area. I found Heartfields to be by far the best. The staff have been warm and approachable and the facilities are clean and inviting. Any question or concern that I might have has been addressed in a timely and professional manner. When meeting with the sales director, she presented all of the options in an upfront and informative way. Choosing an assisted living can be stressful and intimidating for most people but the Heartfields staff made the experience friendly and reassuring. This is where I would feel very comfortable moving a family member.

My mom and stepfather moved into Heartfields in September of 2016. As you can imagine, there was a lot of anxiety about the move. One of their concerns was whether they would have to change their lifestyle as they are both pretty active. I'm happy to say that the staff at Heartfields encourages and fully support residents to continue to enjoy their individual hobbies and interests. They still drive and go out every day, whether it's to attend exercise classes at the Senior Center or just to shop or visit family and friends. My stepfather loves to whittle and paint, and they have created space for him to continue to do this. The staff are very warm and caring, and we could not be happier with our choice.

HeartFields is always willing to take a different direction to support their resident request. My Aunt recently made HeartFields her new home after living in the District of Columbia for more than 53 years. She is happy that HeartFields is now supplying the residents with 8 fl oz of water vs 16.9 fl oz. To my aunt that meant everything. She enjoys holding the smaller bottle of water. HeartFields that's how you do it.
