Juniper Village at Mt. Joy has been a wonderful haven for our family. After my stepfather's passing while in their care, my 93-year-old mother chose to stay and has thrived there. She's engaged in activities, radiating positivity thanks to the phenomenal staff and their amazing care. The impeccably clean and welcoming facility provides incredible peace of mind. We're grateful for the community that embraces our family, allowing us to cherish our time with her, knowing she's safe, happy, and well-cared for. .

My 96 y/o mother has been living there for almost 4 years. She has dementia and needs help with her daily needs and has received the best care. She always says how nice and compassionate everyone is no matter their position. I wouldn't want her being anywhere else, and I don't think she would either. Juniper Village in Mt. Visiting Juniper Village at Mount Joy was an amazing experience. It was so warm and inviting upon entering and the residents were smiling, engaging with a piano player, and saying hello as you walked past. The decor was lovely staff were friendly and overall great experience!

Juniper has been the best, they take time to listen to family concerns, solve issues. They are lively and always have live music 5 nights a week, the residents all seem very happy!

My sister is a resident at Juniper Village at Mount Joy which gives me a great deal of comfort as every employee at this facility goes out of their way to be helpful, caring and supportive. Sharon at the front desk is an asset for her kind, caring and helpful approach to the residents and anyone visiting Juniper. Katie, in technology has gone above and beyond providing support with any issues that have arisen with Alexa. Felix, in maintenance, always addresses any concerns and needs my sister has had and is friendly and cheerful every time I see him.. There are many others who deserve credit for their dedication and concern in making this facility feel more like a home than an institution. My sister is very fortunate to be a resident here and I very grateful for the care she receives as I live in MD and can’t be there daily to assure her needs are being met . I just wanted to thank each and everyone one employed by Juniper for providing my sister with a place she feels comfortable living at. (Note: I am also impressed with how the staff in the cafeteria meet with the residents to make sure each person who resides here has their dietary needs met and personal likes and dislikes addressed) Sharon Curran

It was such a pleasure getting to work with Katie and her team to coordinate student volunteers from our high school theatre group at Donegal to help with their all resident cast program called Broadway Senior for their performance of Singin’ in the Rain - as well as costumes & props! It’s so important to give back to our community and seeing how this production came together made for a special experience. It was a wonderful way for the residents at Juniper Village to showcase their love for the arts when opportunities like this at their age don’t often arise. Broadway Senior is an amazing program and this performance had us laughing and singing along in the rain of course!

The time came last October my younger brother at age 71 years could not live alone any longer. Our first meeting at Mt. Joy Juniper made me feel as if I was talking to long lost friends. Everyone was so kind and patient explaining requirements, finances, and living arrangements. My brother moved in quickly and felt comfortable and safe immediately. I felt the staff made a fantastic effort quickly to understand my brother's needs, both physical and mental. Their communication with me has also been fantastic. They make me feel like I am part of the team.

I am a guitarist and have been performing at Juniper for 7 months now. The residents are great and a lot of fun. The staff is very professional and friendly as well. I perform at many retirement homes and Juniper is one of my favorites.

I have had the honor and privilege to entertain here for almost a year, now, and I have seen care, compassion, kindness, love and laughter every time! Juniper Village of Mount Joy is not only a beautiful facility, but there is so much care from the staff, and thanks to its activity director, Katie Erb, there is always something exciting and fun to do! I would highly recommend this wonderful retirement community. Their slogan, "Nuturing The Spirit Of Life," is very true!

I am a volunteer at Juniper Village thru K-Pets of Lancaster. I look forward to my bi-weekly visits not only with the residents but the employees as well. The staff is so kind and easy to work with. I often have residents who can't quite get to the lobby area without help. When the staff see me coming with my german shepherd (Rip) they quickly go pick them up and bring them to the lobby to visit. The residents are so happy to see Rip and they love telling me about there pets from throughout the years. I so enjoy hearing all there stories and they love hearing about my family as well. It is always such a joy to interact with everyone at Juniper Village of Mount Joy, PA.

My mother has lived in Juniper Village for a year and a half. She is 95 and requires assistance with daily activities. The Juniper Village care staff and executive staff is professional, caring and courteous. I looked at several facilities in Lancaster County as well as Anne Arundel County MD and Juniper Village stood out after my first visiting more that 6 other locations. The application and onboarding process was easy and we are so happy we made the decision to make Juniper Village my mother's home.

I have been conducting "Art Demos" for residents on Friday evenings twice monthly for over six months. The residents seem to enjoy my "creative" style as I attempt new techniques and explain the process to them. They are interactive and ask appropriate questions during the 45 - 60 minute sessions. Juniper Village has become home for my grandmother. After unexpectedly losing her husband it became clear living alone wasn’t going to work. After seeing the kindness that the team at Juniper displayed our family knew it was the place for her. She has happily lived at Juniper for several years and is thriving! As a musician who plays in many retirement homes, we love Juniper Village! The residents appear happy and well cared for, and the staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The activities director, Renee Lentz, provides a wide variety of programs for the residents in different areas of the Juniper Village community. We always look forward to our visits there, whether for our regular visits or special holiday events. I highly recommend Juniper Village in Mount Joy for your loved ones.
